About: I currently have 4 cats whose ages range from 1 to 10 years old, so I have experience caring for cats in many different stages of life. Each of my cats has a completely different personality and different needs, which has taught me patience, attentiveness, and how to make every cat feel comfortable in their own way. Some are playful and energetic, while others are more shy and relaxed, so I understand the importance of respecting boundaries, routines, and comfort levels. About: I’ve taken care of many different pets over the past two years. I created a Facebook page for pet sitting and have watch dogs, cats, even ducks. I love any and all pets! I’m currently taking collage classes online while doing pet sitting. I have a very flexible schedule to fit your pet in my day and I can even stay with your pet for the day while taking my classes with them sitting by my side. I am not able to currently watch pets at my house but would be more then happy to come and stay with your pet over night for there comfort.

About: I love dogs! I’ve taken care of neighbor’s and friend’s dogs and currently have one of my own. I have experience with puppies, older dogs, walking and training dogs on and off lead. I currently work only part-time, so I have a lot of free time on my hands. There are a few weekends or nights that I’ll be away, but we can book in advance. I have a private house with tons of green space and corn fields. We have no visible neighbors, so your dog will enjoy a bit of the peaceful country lifestyle. “Taking on a totally unknown dog from a cross-country road trip, IS a risk. We knew our senior dog Ginger would likely be stressed: 1st from the trip, and 2nd to be left with a stranger, in an unfamiliar environment. Linda really seems to love the dogs, she had 1-2 fosters there when we arrived (not sure, as I think I only saw 1). While I'm sure it was hard on both of them, we do sincerely appreciate her taking on our dog for a few hours, so that we could attend the wedding of an old family friend. I am currently working full time but am available before / after my work shifts and available for overnight care in your home or mine. In my home I have a 50+ lbs spayed female pit bull and a 5lb female chihuahua. In a clients home I would like to be provided with any information regarding food aggression, possessiveness, schedule the dogs follow and any special accommodations needed to best suit the pet(s). I do work full time so a typical day for me is waking up early, I take my dogs out, feed them, meditate if needed, one more potty break before leaving. They do go out mid day by a dog walker that comes in. And then after work they go outside, eat dinner, outside again and then hangout and play until bedtime where we do night treat and one more bathroom break. I have pets at home that are super dog friendly. They absolutely love any company. I volunteer with a rescue so they are very used to other dogs coming in and out. I have the ability to separate dogs if needed, crate dogs if needed (one of my girls get crated and one does not)

About: I've lived with pets all my life and while I’ve only had one human roommate in the last 30 years, I've always had a least one cat up until 2018. I LOVE cats (esp kittens), and am quite comfortable around dogs as well (I love them too, just not in all capitals, LOL). When I first started pet sitting, I thought I preferred cats to dogs, but the past few years have enabled me to expand in my love of, and comfort with dogs (but please don't tell the cats that)! I also used to 'lease' a horse in my youth and have experience with birds, hamsters, fish, and guinea pigs. I DON'T like snakes or insects (sorry!) In the last 12 years I’ve volunteered with several rescues as a cat/kitten foster and I'm known to be particularly good with feral kittens and cats. I'm really good with walking (dogs mostly), dispensing medications, and loving attention, but I'm not a pushover when it comes to treats from the table (that's a no-no) staying on leash when required, and letting them know I mean business when necessary. I don't believe in EVER striking or punishing animals and seem to fall in love with them all. I’ve been a house and pet sitter on the site “Trusted Housesitters” since 2018 and have over 21 positive reviews there. I’m recently retired (yet surprisingly busy). I don’t do a lot of night driving, but am otherwise generally available. I’m a stickler about being on time, and keeping dates I commit to. My preference is for cats to remain indoors at all times at my house, and dogs always on a lead when outside. I have a variety of crate sizes here, and am totally comfortable with your fur kids riding in my car, lounging on my furniture, and/or sleeping in my bed. I have all wood floors, plenty of cat litter pans and bowls for food and water. My yard is not fenced but I have easy access to neighborhood parks.

“If you're ever looking for a place for your fur kids to stay while you go out of town, I highly recommend Laura. I have 2 neurotic cats; 1 has CH that does not like getting confined in crates/small place and the other is spicy/moody. The stay was short with a (somewhat) unusual request, but Laura took them all in stride and went the extra mile to look after Sam and Cloud. “Lauren was great with our dog Maggie! We left our our dog (7lbs) with Lauren for 7 days while we were traveling. Lauren was responsive with communication and was good about sending pictures of Maggie. Our sweet pup can be anxious and doesn’t do well in new environments but Lauren had a very sweet demeanor and nice home and I think Maggie became quite comfortable there. I would definitely leave our fur baby with her again!”

About: I’ve had two dogs over the past 10 years that I have assisted in taking care of at my home. My families second dog passed away recently and the house is now empty of pets. As a dog-loving individual I would love to be able to watch over others’ pets and provide the proper care for them. I’m currently in the process of working part time with the city of Winchester’s summer camp for kids. I would be working during the week days and off all weekends. I have a large yard in a subdivided neighborhood that is great for taking walks. My home currently doesn’t have any pets living there. There are plenty of dog beds and furniture that is acceptable for pets to relax and sleep on. It is a three story home with 2 sets of stairs in it.
