“Jessica is amazing! She has walked Luke many times in the past and we always had a great experience with her. This time we were going on vacation and took Lukie to her for boarding. She was really great! Kept me updated the entire time and sent me pictures and videos, Luke had an amazing time and even became friends with her kitten. I would definitely recommend her. I was at ease knowing Lukie was well taken care of. She treated him like if he was her own pup.”

“Our dog Hazel had a blast staying with Megan. She was flexible with our drop off time and made our pup a priority. So glad we found someone we can depend on to take care of our best friend.”

“Melanie and Eric were so loving and caring with our anxious and reactive boy Walter! It was Walter’s first time away and I knew he was in good hands. They sent updates and were very responsive to messages. Couldn’t be happier!”

“Lauren & Taylor did a wonderful job caring for my dog. They sent pictures and updates each day, took her for walks and she was a happy pup when we went to pick her up!!! Really appreciated them!!”

“Brandi really gives me a comfortable and carefree vacation! When my kitties come back, I see them really happy and cheerful, growing big for a little bit. I know they must have a great time there!”

“Sarah was pleasant to work with! She kept in touch to let us know everything was going well. Our dog really seemed to enjoy himself. We will definitely be using Sarah again :)”

“This was our first time boarding with Amber and we couldn't have been happier. She was extremely accommodating with our timeline and provided pictures & feedback throughout our girls visit... this put our minds at ease allowing us to focus on a family matter. Our girl came home happy & tired!!!”

“Tiffany was amazing taking care of my Tinkerbell. She was super responsive and provided frequent, daily updates. I never went without photos of Tinkerbell the whole week she stayed with Tiffany, which I appreciated very much. Tinkerbell clearly became comfortable very quickly in the new environment. I would highly recommend Tiffany with her caring, compassionate demeanor.”

“McKayla and Christian are wonderful sitters. They sent lots of pics and kept me up to speed with everything my pup was doing. I most certainly would rebook with them. Thank you for treating my fur baby as if he was your own ❤️”

“Jennifer S. is top-notch, 5 star across the board. She treated my pup like her own. I was given regular updates with pics and videos, and my pup got a chance to run around in a safe secure environment with other dogs, allowing her to play and make new friends. Jennifer’s place is clean, safe, cozy, and all dogs are screened for their vaccinations. Jen S., is a true professional and I thank her for taking care of my pup. I highly recommend Jen S and will be a return customer for sure.”
“Solar was very helpful and did a great job with our pup. She is very skittish but I I think she would have stayed there when we picked her up! He sent updates, pictures and even video at least once if not twice daily. Any questions I have had he was very quick to respond. Even recommendations for food since she doesn’t seem to like what we are feeding her. I definitely would feel confident using him again.”

“One of the best experiences I’ve ever had leaving our pets. Usually my anxiety level is high, however Michelle and Luke took amazing care of our two dogs. Would very highly recommend”

She’s so attentive and conscientious, even about anything concerning with the house or changes she might notice with my kitties. She’s always checks in with me about anything she might see that’s concerning and that trait makes her a 10 star sitter!”

About: I've helped care for animals since my childhood. Recently, I cared for my senior dog, Ziggy, until his passing. Currently, I volunteer with Mountaineers 4 Mutts by cleaning cat kennels, socializing cats, and transporting animals. I currently work part-time and I enjoy caring for animals of my friends and family. I help out when I can and make sure their pets receive the best care. With my past pet Ziggy, I would always make sure he had water and food. I'd make sure he was comfortable and feeling alright. I made sure to take him out immediately when he let me know he had to go. Some days we went for walks and car rides, while other days we'd cuddle on the couch.

About: I've owned cats for years now, and they are the highlight of my day! Bean and Sprout recently had their yearly wellness are are doing wonderfully. I'd love to get to meet your little (or big) ones!
“Harley did an excellent job taking care of our kitties. One of our cats takes a pill each day, so we booked a professional instead of relying on friends or family. She did a great job administering meds, and our other cats loved her too. We have one extremely shy kitty who hides when strangers are in the house, and he was friendly with her! She was prompt, spent time playing with them, and sent us notes and pictures daily. Will definitely book again.”

About: I grew up with 3 cats in the house and currently have two of my own, so I know cats inside and out. Their independence, their quirks, and the ways they communicate. I've raised cats from tiny kittens all the way to adulthood, so I'm comfortable with every stage of a cat's life, from playful kitten energy to calmer adult routines. I've also cared for a cat with an FELV, so I understand the extra patience, attention, and gentle care needed. Whether your cat needs playtime, or a quiet companion, I'll treat them with the same love and attention I give my own.

About: My husband and I are both full time DNP students allowing us to be at home 6 days a week. We have cared for our 3 year old corgi together, but have both had family pets previously. We are skilled in medications administration and emergency care for your fur baby! This is a child free, cat free and smoke free home. Daisy, our corgi, loves to play and make new friends. We are currently full time DNP students that allows us to be at home full time Sunday through Thursday. We are awake from the hours of 6am until 10pm. Potty breaks are able to have every 2-4 hours. Feeding schedules are based on your fur baby’s needs, however our dog eats twice a day once at 6am and again at 6pm. In our neighborhood we have a walking path that we frequently walk our dog with a leash on. Our dog loves to play with other dogs. Our home is tidy and nothing is left on the floors or within reach that could harm an animal. Our house is not located near any high traffic roads. Our back yard is positioned against an open field. Unless your dog is highly trained with good recall skills, I will not let them run free in the backyard for fear of them running away. Dogs are family in our home!

About: I’ve been taking care of animals as long as I can remember. From taking care of my own pets to helping others out with their pets, I love providing the pet care an owner needs help with and a pet needs. Growing up, I lived across the street from my great aunt who bred and showed Great Danes. From a young age I remember sitting and watching out the front window for my aunt to come home so I could call her and ask if I could come help her with her Danes. When I was 10 years old, I started my own dog walking/pet sitting business and I have helped numerous families out with their pets while they were out on vacation or just needed help getting their pets outside for some exercise. After college, I worked at a local pet store and have gotten a lot of experience with dogs, cats, fish, guinea pigs, and birds. I also have helped care for horses over the years. I love hanging out with animals and spoiling them like I do with my own pets. I am comfortable taking care of multiple pets and fur babies of all sizes. I have a very flexible schedule. I am available for full time or part time work. I am currently a stay at home mom, so my availability is fairly free, but it varies from week to week. I am pretty flexible and willing to work with your schedule. I let my pets out multiple times a day and take them on walks. I love to take my pets out on hikes as well.
“Solar was amazing with Drako! He was very flexible and understanding with my last minute booking! I tend to get nervous with new sitters but I did not feel that at all! Will definitely be booking with Solar again!!”

I offer dog walking, daycare, and drop ins. I work from home and my dog is very friendly and is great with all animals so there is no need to worry if you need daycare services. I look forward to caring for your animals. I work from home M-F from 8-5 so I’m available during that time for daycare or on my lunch hour for walks/drop Ins. I am also available before and after work. I have a very friendly dog that will love the company of your pets. We go on multiple walks a day and we are flexible so we can meet your pet’s needs
About: I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, having grown up with them my whole life, from senior dogs to playful puppies as young as 3 months old. I’m passionate about both cats and dogs and love taking them on runs or treating them to a sweet snack. Whether it's a leisurely walk or an active outing, I’m dedicated to providing fun, loving care for every pet I sit! I have classes until 3 PM most days, but I’m flexible and can adjust my schedule to accommodate pet care in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends. I’m committed to providing reliable and loving care for your pets whenever you need me! I offer pet care primarily in my client’s home, as I prefer the pets to stay in their familiar environment. I have a fenced-in backyard, but since I live on a busier street, I find it’s often better for pets to be in a quieter, more comfortable space. If your pet is friendly, I also have a dog who loves to play and is very sweet. My home is safe, but for senior dogs, there are a few stairs, which I can work around to ensure their comfort. I’m flexible and always prioritize your pet’s safety and happiness!
About: A true animal lover, I will take care of your animals like they are my own. I have experience with giving oral medication, preparing food/water, cleaning animal areas, bathing, and more. Having my own animals, I know how important it is to others that the person spending time with your fur babies is genuine, kind, caring, and very thorough. I am nothing short of this when it comes to watching over your family members. I will spoil them with love and affection while keeping them safe at all times. Being raised on a farm, I have experience with many different types of animals including raising dogs and cats. I can assure you I will take great care of them as well as be the best playmate they could ask for! My husband is an animal whisperer as you’ll see in the photos! Safety, kindness, and love is what you will get with me. I work from home and my hours are flexible. I can work around your preferred schedule. Mornings, evenings, weekdays, weekends, 30 minutes, hr visits, boarding in my home… you name it and I will accommodate it. Every owner has a specific preference for how their animals are cared for and I will follow your requests exactly as you ask as well as go above and beyond to communicate with you on any and all needs of your animal. I have two kittens at home and plenty of space to board your animals if needed. My community is quiet and walkable and I have a large yard if needed. If I am coming to your home I will accommodate your requests and routines that you have in place. I have experience with manual and automatic food, water, and liter devices. I am CRP certified and have a vehicle to transport if ever an emergency required me to take them to the vet. My best friend is a vet and my husband is a doctor. You are in the best of hands with me!!
About: I've spent my whole life surrounded by animals—caring for everything from playful puppies and cuddly cats to bunnies, ferrets, and more. I’ve fostered kittens, helped them grow strong and social, and supported pets through every stage of life. What started as helping family, friends, and neighbors has grown into a true calling. I have experience with pets of all ages, medical needs, and those requiring special attention—like blind or deaf animals who need extra patience and care. Whether it’s daily check-ins or last-minute sitting, I treat every pet like family—because that’s how I’d want mine treated too. I work from home and I make my own schedule. So, tons of time for walks, play-time, bathing, and cuddles. Missing your fur baby? No worries! As a fur mom, I know how reassuring it can be to get updates, with pictures and videos, while being away from your babies. I have 2 pups and tons of toys that will keep your pups entertained, and space they can retreat to if they feel overstimulated. I live close to trails for enjoyable walks, for the pups that are properly safeguarded with prevention and vaccines for a walk through the woods. I have plenty of kitty toys and scratchers for my kitty friends, so they can have fun and keep their nails in tip top shape. My fur babies have a calm and safe environment, and we’d love to share that with your fur baby.
About: You can trust me to care for your pets of any kind as well as your home just as if they are my own. I am a local dad that has the great fortune of managing my business from home. This leaves me plenty of time to take care of my newest family member, Casey!! We especially love golden retrievers and labradors. And of course all others Woff .as Casey continues to train daily to be a service dog.she's our special one she loves hosting After suffering the loss of our beloved chocolate lab Marley this past June, we decide to immediately get a new pup. The silence and her amazing presence was way to tough on our family to live without. We now have Casey!! Casey is our brand-new golden retriever puppy! She is now 1 year 7 monthss old and is always looking for and delighted to meet the newest visitor that will become her new buddy. I put my time and devoted energy into my family, my work and my animals, which are my passion. Our favorite place to go is Royal Lake in Fairfax but we do daily walks in our neighborhood throughout the day as well as Burke Lake. Burke Lake is a nice place but can get overcrowded so we tend to steer toward Lake Royal, it’s a really a serene place with plenty of wildlife and good smells! I am flexible with scheduling and have no problem with last minute requests. Your dogs will have full access to my home on couches and beds if you choose. They will live as my Casey does… perhaps a bit spoiled. ;-). My aim is to have a dog friend or two over for a safe place where your pup can come and not be caged while you are gone. Casey needs the exercise but more than anything she wants friends! I am not looking to run a dog hotel, just a family environment with a loving atmosphere. Because of my job I cannot leave during the day for long periods of time so your pup will be by my side most of the time during my care. I feel that exercise is key to good behavior so I try to make sure the dogs in my care will come home tired, loved and happy! I look forward to caring for your loved ones! we specialize in loveas Casey continue her training as a service dog. She loves meeting new friends and basically it's a doggy bed and breakfast with more love and harmony.she loves hosting.
About: I have been around animals and taking care of them since I was a child. As a child my parents had cats that I would have to watch. As I got older both parents got dogs and I have had over 10 years experience with them. Currently I am a dog owner of 4 and a half years and couldn’t imagine life without him. I am currently enrolled in school online that does not have a set time to be in classes. This will allow me to attend to your pets at any moment they need it. I have a yard but not fence. This allows easy access to restroom breaks. I am happy to crate your dog if needed but always love to be able to have them roam. My house has plenty of space for playtime and my dog loves running around it especially with other dogs.

About: I don’t just watch dogs—I get to know them. Whether it’s helping puppies learn the ropes or giving senior pups slow, cozy care, I tailor every visit to what your dog actually needs. I’m patient, upbeat, and love turning training moments into fun games. I pay close attention to each dog’s unique needs, energy level, and personality—because great care isn’t one-size-fits-all. And yes, I’m the sitter who celebrates every tail wag like it’s an achievement. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I work full time Monday–Friday from 8–4, but I’m available for morning, evening, and weekend visits. I maintain a safe, structured environment by following your pet’s routine exactly as you outline it. I monitor pets closely during walks and use sturdy leashes and proper equipment. Communication is key, so I provide regular updates and photos to give you peace of mind.
“Tracey is a great communicator and has been very helpful to us on short notice. We are happy to have someone trustworthy and reliable taking care of our up. Highly recommend!”

“Harley was great with my boy, Apache. The walk was a very last minute thing, but she was more than happy to accommodate to us. She even spent some time with him in the house because weather cut the walk short. She is outstanding at what she does! We will definitely be repeat customers! 😊”

About: My whole life I’ve grown up with pets in my home (dogs and cats). My mother worked at a vet so she has passed her knowledge onto me, taking care of animals comes easy for me as I have cared for my own as well as others fur babies. I just graduated college and have a day job but would be happy to provide services when off, I have 2 cats of my own and have grown up around both dogs and cats At my apartment complex we have a grassy area so your furry friend could get outside time if needed. I do not have a crate but if provided one could accommodate that when outside the home. I also have a car, so going to a park for longer walks could be accomplished if the pet does well in vehicles.
About: I have such a love for animals. I speak to them at all times, even when they’re passing by with their humans and I just tell the animal to have a great day. They make me so very happy, and I love to make them happy. I have 2 cats of my own and 5 niece and nephew dogs I have cared for and spoiled rotten for many years. I don’t get tired of playing, feeding, singing, or walking animals. I have just left a very emotionally draining job, caring for elderly humans and ensuring their happiness is always met. Now I’m ready to start fresh and have free time to care for your (furry) loved ones and ensure they are happy and healthy. I am comfortable caring for pets however they (and you) are comfortable with our visits. Their wants and needs is what’s important to me, and I will do my best to do what is needed.

I love animals i think they are so much fun to be around and their spirit just leaves you so happy. I have 3 dogs and 2 reptiles in the home. But on top of being good with animals i also am excellent with people i have been a manager trainer. And spokesperson for many of my jobs. I look forward to getting time to spend with your furry friend in the hopefully near future. I work a full time job as a caregiver for seniors but it's a standard 9-5 job so I am only gone 8 hours at a time. And home when I am off I don't go out much. I have a fenced in yard and 3 dogs and 2 reptiles. Everyone is friendly and all our own dogs are crated if not home.

I am a very safe and responsible person and would absolutely ensure the safety of your pets. If you give me rules, I will make sure they are followed. I'm also sober and a non-smoker.
About: I have been an avid animal-lover and caretaker since the age of 10. I spent my youth volunteering for animal shelters, fostering dogs, and taking my own pups to obedience and agility classes. I have worked on farms with livestock and assisted my sister with her dog-grooming clients. I have cared for a number of senior dogs and cats and have administered various medications. I am eager to work with pets of any age, though, and I have experience caring for fish, rodents, cats, dogs, horses, cows, chickens, and other birds. I am currently self-employed and working part-time. My schedule is very much open and flexible, so I am able ensure your pet takes first priority! I am quite aware every animal requires different levels of care and attention. I provide serious attention to detail when it comes to all of your pets' various needs and habits. I welcome thorough instructions based on owner preferences and will see to it that your fur-babies are cared for respectively.

“Have never felt more comfortable leaving my Gypsy with anyone. Yes, even family. She acted like it was her second home from day one due to Joni making her so welcome. Joni is truly a god sent with animals. When we picked her up she was so glad to see me then went back to playing. I can’t thank her enough and will recommend her to all my friends. Thank you Joni and will definitely see you again!”

About: I’ve grown up arounds dogs and have owned atleast one dog for my whole life. I’ve had experience from chihuahuas to german shepherds. Pet care has become a daily thing with my fur babies. Along with taking care of my dogs, I have my goats, ducks, and chickens. “She was able to watch my dog on very short notice and willing to give meds not noted on my profile as they were only temporary. She sent lots of photos, was very responsive, and it looked like she treated my dog like her own. 10/10 would have her watch my pup again - thanks, Sophia!”

About: Hi Loving Furparents, My lifelong passion is interspecies communication, animal care & behavior, ecology, and environmental conservation. I have grown up communicating, training/learning, caretaking, and translating for animals my entire life, and I continue to follow my passion for animal care, rehabilitation, conservation, and helping others learn to listen and communicate with animals. I have recently lost my soul dog and partner of nearly 16 years to osteosarcoma. I have experience learning life lessons our senior friends teach us; to slow down, smell the wildflowers, enjoy the little things in life, lead with empathy, lend a helping hand to one another, and be grateful for the moment we have together. I have experience with caretaking during mobility issues for both animals, using help-em-up harnesses and wheelchairs. Additionally, I have awareness and understanding of training needs when the human is afflicted with chronic illness and mobility impairments, such as helping the animal to learn and be mindful of unsteadiness, fall prevention, etc. My current SDiT and I are working on counterbalance, DPT, crowd guarding, behavior interruptions, and some preliminary scent work. Additional Background of Experience; I grew up in the area with a variety of species throughout the years, from cats & dogs to horses, rodents, fish, chickens & guinea fowl to turtles, etc. This experience came with interspecies management, learning to hand-rear animals, helping animals learn core life skills, assess and rehab injury, hospice care, etc. Later, I completed a multidisciplinary degree from WVU with concentrations in Wildlife Management and Conservation Ecology. At WVU, I completed curriculum including a Service Dog Training course where the dog I worked with (Gretel) graduated the following year to become a certified therapy dog at Chestnut Ridge. Additional courses included Animal Behavior, Equine Hoof and Limb, Equine Assisted Therapy, and Exotic Animal Medicine, among others. Since graduating, I have compiled formal experience working with both domestic animals, wildlife and protection of their habitat. I had the privilege to work abroad in Botswana, Africa at game reserves where we were able to rehabilitate animals, provide game drives, supplemental feeding etc., and interned at Mokolodi Nature Reserve in Botswana, Africa, caring for animals in rehabilitation. I currently work full-time, which unfortunately limits my availability to primarily evenings and weekends at this time. Well-behaved, socialized dogs may be able to join during office work days. I am considering transitioning to full-time animal training, should it be feasible, which may allow for additional availability in the future. Additionally, I am navigating chronic illness after long covid through schedule modification and mindful movement during caretaking. Thank you for your understanding schedule limitations during this transition. Please communicate with me your dogs needs i.e.; whether your pet has separation anxiety, medical needs or food allergies, usual routines that make them feel safe, enrichment or husbandry that helps positively stimulate them mentally and emotionally, triggers to be mindful of/avoid, whether they have off leash recall or there are chase drive trigger concerns and they must stay leashed at all times, and anything else you feel is relevant so we may collaborate on their care plan to provide them the best support. I do have a large crate available for dogs that are most comfortable with crate training when it is necessary to leave them at home. Our geriatric cat Fluffy lives in the home with us (please alert me to dogs that have not been socialized with cats), there is a rescue parrot in the household, and I have a ~55 lb rescue and SDIT who is very friendly and loves having someone to play and run around in the yard with. She was a family member to my geriatric dog with mobility concerns before his passing, and she has experience with older dogs and cats.
