“Laura was an excellent care provider of our dog, Happy! Happy got sick the day after we left town… He developed pancreatitis…The vet thought from the cicadas he had eaten the days before. Laura checked with us and took him to the ER (vet) because she saw blood in his diarrhea. They kept him for two days for IVs, meds, etc. when he started eating, she was able to take him home and took excellent care of him as though he was her own dog. She cooked chicken, and rice to help him start eating again. Her dog, ‘BOO’ watched over Happy also. She kept us informed with videos and texts every day. When we got back home, Happy was clearly feeling well at Laura‘s home and happy being with BOO. Laura keeps a sharp eye on the dogs. We definitely recommend her!!!”

There’s nothing I love more than being able to provide comfort for your pets whenever you’re away. Me and your pets will go on walks, play dates, and anything else they enjoy! Ideally, I am available for overnight stays, whether it be for the weekend or two weeks! I also have sitter backups for any extra care needed in which I’m not able to tend to. Because my time outside of school is flexible and dependable, I can give your pet the care, attention, and companionship they deserve. I provide loving, hands-on care tailored to each pet’s needs. At home, I have two cats and a dog, so I’m very familiar with balancing playtime, exercise, and daily routines. I make sure my pets get plenty of attention and enrichment through play, and I walk my dog multiple times a day to keep him happy and healthy. I bring the same level of care, patience, and dedication to every pet I look after, treating them as if they were my own.

My training background allows me to provide individualized, structured care, especially for dogs with anxiety, reactivity, separation anxiety, or other behavioral challenges. My goal is always to keep your dog’s stay calm, safe, and comfortable while you’re away. I have experience caring for pregnant dogs and newborn puppies, and my rescue work has given me valuable experience working with senior dogs and dogs with special needs. Dogs with more serious behavioral concerns may require a pre-boarding evaluation to ensure the best experience for everyone. Training sessions or private consultations can be added during your dog’s stay. Your dog will be understood, respected, and cared for like family. I provide full-time dog training and boarding, including weekends. I tailor care to each dog’s needs—whether it’s obedience, behavior support, socialization, or senior dog care. Since this is a home-based business, your fur babies become part of my daily life—spending time with me like family—while still enjoying a structured schedule.

About: I’ve mostly worked as an RN but I’m currently a stay at home momma! I've always had a passion in helping others, but my second passion in life is caring for animals! What better side gig than to help care for some lovely pets. I do have experience through my nephew with service dogs. I attended his two-week training to learn how to handle the dog and commands. I've always had pets, particularly cats and dogs, with a few fishy exceptions. I've been trusted by many friends and family members as the go-to person for pet sitting. You can depend on me to be reliable and caring with your fur babies! Fortunately I’m able to work with most schedules. I’m able to be very flexible with my routine thankfully!! We go with the flow over here! I have a fenced in yard, a garage & plenty of house space. We do have one dog and one cat currently! They are spoiled & very used to being around other animals!

For bedtime, guests can sleep comfortably right in my bedroom or use a dedicated spare room depending on their routine.
