About: I have always had a full house of pets all ages and sizes, and years of experience with farm animals too. My husband and I adopt those in need, and I pretty much married Ace Ventura. We take care of friends and family's pets and farm animals whenever needed. I work from home. My husband does too. We drive to Winchester at least 2 times a day to drop off and pickup our kids from school. We can pretty much work out a schedule that works for you. We have cats and dogs, and a large 2 story home with live in attic. Our dogs are trained to sleep freely and roam our property off leash. But we have large crates (not wire) if needed, and we walk on leashes any pets we care for every couple of hours.

We knew our senior dog Ginger would likely be stressed: 1st from the trip, and 2nd to be left with a stranger, in an unfamiliar environment. Linda really seems to love the dogs, she had 1-2 fosters there when we arrived (not sure, as I think I only saw 1). While I'm sure it was hard on both of them, we do sincerely appreciate her taking on our dog for a few hours, so that we could attend the wedding of an old family friend. About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I currently have 4 cats and a 4-month-old puppy, so I understand the patience, attention, and love pets need every single day. Growing up surrounded by animals taught me how to care for pets with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. From playful puppies to independent cats, I’m comfortable handling feeding schedules, walks, playtime, cleanup, and giving pets lots of affection and attention. I treat every pet like family and always make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. I currently work a flexible part-time job, which gives me plenty of time throughout the week to care for pets and give them the attention they deserve. Since I also have 4 cats and a 4-month-old puppy of my own, pet care is already a big part of my daily routine. Caring for animals comes naturally to me, and I enjoy spending my free time with them. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality and needs, whether they’re energetic, shy, young, or older. In a client’s home, I always follow instructions carefully to keep pets on their normal routine and help them feel as stress-free and comfortable as possible while their owner is away.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of different breeds since I was young. I love dogs and have a blue heeler named Ruger. I’ve had family and friends that have relied on me to pet sit over the years. I currently work full time and I’m home in the evenings by 5 usually. Overnight boarding would be simple as I am home every evening. My yard is not fenced in but I have about an acre. My blue heeler Ruger is always looking for a play date! I can crate your dog if needed as well.

About: I've lived with pets all my life and while I’ve only had one human roommate in the last 30 years, I've always had a least one cat up until 2018. I LOVE cats (esp kittens), and am quite comfortable around dogs as well (I love them too, just not in all capitals, LOL). When I first started pet sitting, I thought I preferred cats to dogs, but the past few years have enabled me to expand in my love of, and comfort with dogs (but please don't tell the cats that)! I also used to 'lease' a horse in my youth and have experience with birds, hamsters, fish, and guinea pigs. I DON'T like snakes or insects (sorry!) In the last 12 years I’ve volunteered with several rescues as a cat/kitten foster and I'm known to be particularly good with feral kittens and cats. I'm really good with walking (dogs mostly), dispensing medications, and loving attention, but I'm not a pushover when it comes to treats from the table (that's a no-no) staying on leash when required, and letting them know I mean business when necessary. I don't believe in EVER striking or punishing animals and seem to fall in love with them all. I’ve been a house and pet sitter on the site “Trusted Housesitters” since 2018 and have over 21 positive reviews there. I’m recently retired (yet surprisingly busy). I don’t do a lot of night driving, but am otherwise generally available. I’m a stickler about being on time, and keeping dates I commit to. My preference is for cats to remain indoors at all times at my house, and dogs always on a lead when outside. I have a variety of crate sizes here, and am totally comfortable with your fur kids riding in my car, lounging on my furniture, and/or sleeping in my bed. I have all wood floors, plenty of cat litter pans and bowls for food and water. My yard is not fenced but I have easy access to neighborhood parks.

About: My wife & I grew up with pets all kinds and recently we adopted a dog from a rescue and that spark has been reignited of what we've been missing. We have thought long and hard and prayed about doing this. We have a 11 year old son that loves to walk the animals and give them exercise and plenty of opportunities to do their business. My Wife home schools and I currently work part-time so someone will always be home to monitor your pet/pets. We have been told that recent pets we've sitted are in heaven when their in our home. About: Hi! I have 5 years of animal care experience, two years in the shelter setting and on my 3rd year in a veterinary care. I also volunteer with a canine rescue. I am currently working full time but am available before / after my work shifts and available for overnight care in your home or mine. Due to my full time work schedule I am best equipped to do over night care. I have a home with plenty of space inside and outside. I am available to stop by in the mornings / evening to feed and walk or let out and administer medications as needed. If your pet is on a set schedule for a specific medication please let me know ahead of time and I will be happy to check my work schedule to ensure if I would be a good fit! In my home I have a 50+ lbs spayed female pit bull and a 5lb female chihuahua. In a clients home I would like to be provided with any information regarding food aggression, possessiveness, schedule the dogs follow and any special accommodations needed to best suit the pet(s). I am very flexible and have worked with all kinds of dogs with different temperaments and needs. I do work full time so a typical day for me is waking up early, I take my dogs out, feed them, meditate if needed, one more potty break before leaving. They do go out mid day by a dog walker that comes in. And then after work they go outside, eat dinner, outside again and then hangout and play until bedtime where we do night treat and one more bathroom break. I have pets at home that are super dog friendly. They absolutely love any company. I volunteer with a rescue so they are very used to other dogs coming in and out. I have the ability to separate dogs if needed, crate dogs if needed (one of my girls get crated and one does not)

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a child. My family and I grew up with a family dog and then got a puppy in high school that we trained. Even would watch the neighbors pets when they went away. Most recently, I have watched/stayed with a dog when the family traveled. Love all animals, but especially dogs! I work from home and on my own schedule. I have the flexibility to take dogs on walks, bathroom breaks, and even stay with the pet when needed! Working for yourself has great perks when it comes to taking care of our lovely pets. I live in an apartment complex, but have sidewalks for walks. We also have two dog parks. I love staying active, so walks for me are enjoyable! I don’t have any pets of my own currently, so I love being able to love on others pets!
