After Ammo's 7 day stay with Kristen I can't even imagine boarding him at the vet again, nor any place else. He was so happy when I picked him up and at first he didn't even want to get in the car to go home, LOL!!!! He had the best time playing with his new friends and got some much needed exercise. In fact, he was so tired that he slept for 12 hours straight last night and I couldn't be happier! I live in Charles Town, WV with my two-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Louie, and two cats, Tatiana and Rudy — so your pet is walking into a home that already loves animals. I take a slow, easy approach to dog care. I let dogs sniff, wander, and just be themselves, whether we’re doing a neighborhood walk, a quick potty break, or a longer trail outing. Every walk is just two dogs at most, so your pup gets real time and attention. I always send photo updates along the way so you can see how they’re doing. I welcome dogs of all sizes who are friendly with other dogs, cats, and people. For boarding, I have a large fenced backyard and keep things small and relaxed — more like a home than a kennel. She likes it if I scoop her box several times a day. The dogs are fed twice a day, and walked several times. My Dad or I will walk our younger dog Molly around the neighborhood or on the Appalachian trail. Dinner for the dogs is at 7pm and "last pee" is before bedtime (usually 10).

“Wow, I don't even know where to start with the 5-star accolades (and I don't normally leave reviews)!!!!! I was so fortunate to find Kristen after my usual vet boarding was completely booked. After Ammo's 7 day stay with Kristen I can't even imagine boarding him at the vet again, nor any place else. He was so happy when I picked him up and at first he didn't even want to get in the car to go home, LOL!!!! He had the best time playing with his new friends and got some much needed exercise. In fact, he was so tired that he slept for 12 hours straight last night and I couldn't be happier! Kristen is very responsive, caring and has the best personality.....the dogs just love her, and so do we! So if you're looking for the perfect boarding "resort", this is it! She's got Ammo's paw of approval!”
