“We recently moved to NOVA from Midlothian and had to find a new Rover Ally to watch our 2 sweet Goldens- We used someone who lived in the same town and it did not go well at all so we were very nervous about leaving them again with anyone else. I can hands down say this was one of our best Rover experiences ever!! Joel and Janelle have a beautiful place with a large grassy fenced yard! They sent periodic incredible “action” pictures and our Goldens did not seemed stressed at all when we picked them up. We are looking forward to our stay with them early next month.”

“Lori agreed to sit our pup Rowena, who we had only had for about 3.5 weeks by the time of our trip, and we were fairly nervous about leaving her so soon! However, Lori was so friendly and excited about meeting/watching her, and she and James were clearly very attentive and encouraging to her for the duration of the stay, even as she was more reserved and shy than at home. “Gabby took great care of my Bonnie girl while we were away on vacation. She asked good questions during our meet and greet. I am so glad that she was willing to have Bonnie as the only dog in the house for the majority of the 2 weeks we were away. Bonnie doesn't get along with many other dogs, so when her stay overlapped with another dog that was there for a couple days before her, Gabby immediately let us know and was prepared to keep them separated. Gabby gave us frequent updates and pictures that helped reassure us that she was doing well. All of the instructions I left for her feeding were followed exactly as well. I am so grateful that we were able to enjoy our vacation knowing that Bonnie was being taken care of as if I were there myself.”

About: As much as i absolutely love dogs, me and my bestfriend enjoy helping any cat we see in need, we have rescued 6 cats told she has 4 and I have 2! About: I rescued my first cat when I was 13, and took care of her for 3 years. She was terminally ill, so I had to take a lot of extra steps to help her with medicine, feeding, and vet visits. I rescued my second cat when I was 16, and I’ve had her ever since. I also take care of my siblings’ cats when they’re away for work. I feed them, play with them, deep-clean their litter boxes, and make sure they’re safe and well cared for :)

“This was our second time using Rover for vacation and I was super anxious about leaving my anti social cat Cheyenne. She’s hard to get to know (as some cats can be). Disha was reassuring and ontop of things from the first meet and greet! She was thorough and really made it known she would care for Cheyenne like she was hers. Throughout our vacation, I had spotty - to no signal with limited access to wifi, Disha still communicated with me and went onto suggest other ways to keep in touch! She even did an extra visit when my cat puked quite a lot one of the days to ensure she was okay! We loved having Disha watch Cheyenne and recommend her highly! About: I've had dogs since I was 3 years old. When I was 3 years old my grandparents got me a springer spaniel. His name was Zachery. AKA "Zach a poo" 😂 where do 3 year olds get these names?! 😂 We grew up together and he passed away when I was 22 years old. I remember how completely shattered and heartbroken I felt when he passed. I grew up with cats as well! I once owned a cat that weighed 49 pounds. His named was pumpkin. I provide a safe, loving, and trustworthy environment for your pets, ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for. Your pet’s happiness and well-being are always my highest priority and focus.
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was little, but I’ve been helping out a lot more in the past 4-5 years. I pet sit for many family members and countless friends. They rely on me to walk, feed, play, and most of all care for their animals. I also fostered a puppy for a year and found him an amazing home! I’m a huge animal lover and want to provide the best care for your animals :) I’m currently a college student and have a part-time job, but I have a good amount of availability around that. I work throughout the week mostly when I’m needed so that schedule can vary. Thus, it would be ideal for me to care for your pets in the mornings or evenings :) I have a senior dog who’s very friendly and loves to be outside. I play with her as much as I can, but since she’s getting old, she just likes to eat her treats and sleep! While caring for your pet, I’ll ensure to give them the attention they deserve by playing with them, walking them, or whatever else is requested!
About: Companion animal care in high school, a member of FFA, have had pets my whole life ranging from dogs-lizards-spiders-etc!! Experience with larger working breeds and senior pets as well. Also have experience with exotics such as snakes lizards frogs and so on I work night shift 4 days a week, and would love to have a new reason to be up and moving during the day. I have more free time than you’d expect, and I’d love to spend it caring for your fur babies I follow instructions thoroughly, and have more than enough extra love to show them, if you have any questions feel free to ask!! About: I have decades of experience with both cats and dogs! I have a reactive/senior dog that I have had since he was a puppy. He also suffered from severe separation anxiety, that I had to help him with when we first got him. I rescued him from the Humane Society. I have had training with him, to help give him his best life. I have experience with both dogs and cats, from puppy/kitten to senior age and every age in between. I do have basic pet training skills, including leash training, as well. I also can administer oral medication when needed for dogs. I have experience with dogs with special needs, such as, blindness and special dietary needs. I have experience with active/herding dogs as well. My senior dog Willow, was a boarder/lab. She recently crossed over the rainbow bridge. She was over 13. She was a very active girl. I also have 2 grand dogs. A 4 year old male Great Dane/hound and a 1 1/2 year old male Australian shepherd. I take care of them from time to time when my family needs me too. I also have several clients that I regularly take care of their pets while they’re either at work or away on vacation. I offer several types of services for your pets. I can do drop ins/potty breaks, walks/playtime or overnight stays when you’re away or on vacation. I also provide photos/videos, so that you can see how much fun your fur baby is having while you’re away! I do have experience with multiple dogs/cats households. I look forward to meeting you and your pet(s) and helping to provide caregiving services for your pet! I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I am available most days with notice ahead of time. On occasion, I can do non-scheduled pet care times as well. When caring for your pet in your home, I will follow your instructions for your pets needs. We can discuss how much time your pet can be left alone, as well as, if they need to be crated while left alone. If I am taking care of your pet while you’re away for overnight stays, I will generally check on your pet every 4 to 5 hours unless noted otherwise.
About: Your pet's health, happiness and well being is my number one priority. I have been a dog owner for over 20 years, much of my skill in taking care of senior dogs, administering medication, nail clipping, brushing and bathing dogs comes from working at PetSmart's Pet Hotel/Doggie Camp as well as years of personal experience. I have a natural understanding with a wide verity of dogs and a great deal of patients. I am free everyday after 8am. My wife and I are both very active and love to run/power walk Ollie, through our private wooded trails. We have 4 small children who's ages range from 5 to 13. Rest assured, your dog will be treated as if it were part of our family. Due to the Government shutdown I have an unexpected amount of free time. While I look for the next step in my career, I welcome the opportunity to rekindle my love for dogs. We recently moved out to the country where your furry companion can enjoy our woods and hill side. We own 20 arces right on the Opecqoun Creek.

“We recently moved to NOVA from Midlothian and had to find a new Rover Ally to watch our 2 sweet Goldens- We used someone who lived in the same town and it did not go well at all so we were very nervous about leaving them again with anyone else. I can hands down say this was one of our best Rover experiences ever!! Joel and Janelle have a beautiful place with a large grassy fenced yard! They sent periodic incredible “action” pictures and our Goldens did not seemed stressed at all when we picked them up. We are looking forward to our stay with them early next month.”

“Lori agreed to sit our pup Rowena, who we had only had for about 3.5 weeks by the time of our trip, and we were fairly nervous about leaving her so soon! “Gabby took great care of my Bonnie girl while we were away on vacation. She asked good questions during our meet and greet. I am so glad that she was willing to have Bonnie as the only dog in the house for the majority of the 2 weeks we were away. Bonnie doesn't get along with many other dogs, so when her stay overlapped with another dog that was there for a couple days before her, Gabby immediately let us know and was prepared to keep them separated. Gabby gave us frequent updates and pictures that helped reassure us that she was doing well. All of the instructions I left for her feeding were followed exactly as well. I am so grateful that we were able to enjoy our vacation knowing that Bonnie was being taken care of as if I were there myself.”
