“Taking on a totally unknown dog from a cross-country road trip, IS a risk. We knew our senior dog Ginger would likely be stressed: 1st from the trip, and 2nd to be left with a stranger, in an unfamiliar environment. Linda really seems to love the dogs, she had 1-2 fosters there when we arrived (not sure, as I think I only saw 1). While I'm sure it was hard on both of them, we do sincerely appreciate her taking on our dog for a few hours, so that we could attend the wedding of an old family friend. “Alexsys took great care of my elderly cat who has medical issues. I was so nervous about going away and leaving him, and it was nice to have peace of mind that he was getting the attention and care that he needs. Alexsys was very accommodating and communicative, and I am glad we found her!”
“If you're ever looking for a place for your fur kids to stay while you go out of town, I highly recommend Laura. I have 2 neurotic cats; 1 has CH that does not like getting confined in crates/small place and the other is spicy/moody. The stay was short with a (somewhat) unusual request, but Laura took them all in stride and went the extra mile to look after Sam and Cloud. Definitely one of my best rover experience and would not hesitate to ask her again in the future.”
“Agnesa was fantastic as a sitter. We contacted her on fairly short notice to watch our six month old sheltie Laska, and she was flexible around timing with our flights out of and back into Newark. She kept us up to date on Laska regularly with pictures and videos, she did quite a bit of training with him that was very helpful (we’ve learned a lot from her), and it was clear when we picked him up that he had a wonderful time with her! We appreciated her communication with us and her care for Laska. We will definitely be contacting Agnesa again the next time we need someone to watch Laska!”
“I really like the fact that Lucy only watches one dog at a time. No cages or kennels were used, and our dog was allowed to be on the couch which is what she does at home. I would recommend Lucy”
“Jessica was wonderful, I’m not sure my poodle missed me at all. She sent me regular updates, pictures and videos. Sometimes he was happily lap sitting. Sometimes she videoed him playing with toys her dog or interacting with her family. I was gone 10 days. I was happy to see him doing so well. He is a picky eater so I had sent cubed up chicken breast to mix with his food. When she ran out she cooked him another, which was going way above what I expected. I would definitely take my dog to Jessica again.”
“THE BEST! Michelle and her son are the SWEETEST. So easy to talk to and very communicative. We are so happy we found Michelle . Unfortunately, our previous sitter can no longer watch dogs. So we have tried to find a sitter that matches her love and treated our girl like her own. Our doggo was even so sad when she got home. I'm sure she missed Michelle and her sweet son. She had such a great time being spoiled and playing all day.”
“Allison was great with our boys! One of my dogs has a needy diet and Allison was more than willing to make the rice and provide for them with no questions asked! She sent us pictures throughout their stay and updated us when needed!”
“Gabby had to put up with a spoiled rotten cat! Skittles is the most unsociable cat there is. But everyday without fail she sent me a message that he was eating drinking and still hiding out in his room. She left her house open for Skittles to wander around in but he preferred hiding in a hole he created in her couch🤦 I cannot say enough good about this young mother of 4 beautiful children. She is now out family preferred sitter.”
“Rocky was terrific watching our sweet Zoe! Taking her on walks, the beach and even inviting her to watch a playoff football game with him (she is an Eagles fan). We could tell by the pictures and video he shared that we were not missed. We truly appreciate his kindness and care. He is Highly Recommended! “Molly was very willing to meet us along our travel route to minimize the amount of time it took off our holiday route to take Story to a sitter. She was very communicative and prompt in meeting. Our dog bonded with her teen stepson, so we felt like the plan was mutually beneficial. We will definitely check with her the next time we need a sitter when we are traveling through her area.”
