I have 2 neurotic cats; 1 has CH that does not like getting confined in crates/small place and the other is spicy/moody. The stay was short with a (somewhat) unusual request, but Laura took them all in stride and went the extra mile to look after Sam and Cloud. We knew our senior dog Ginger would likely be stressed: 1st from the trip, and 2nd to be left with a stranger, in an unfamiliar environment. Linda really seems to love the dogs, she had 1-2 fosters there when we arrived (not sure, as I think I only saw 1). While I'm sure it was hard on both of them, we do sincerely appreciate her taking on our dog for a few hours, so that we could attend the wedding of an old family friend. I love any and all breeds and people call me the dog whisperer haha but joking aside i truly love these animals and would love to car for yours. Any regiment you want me to follow i will follow to a T. and the best part is there is no breed too big; if you know me the bigger the head the bigger the love haha. About: Hi! My name is Kat, but I get it if that’s a dirty word in your house. I’ve been lucky to grow up with dogs of all levels; Huskies, Mastiffs, Pugs, etc. I started watching friends, family, and neighbors pets in 2019 and in 2021 I rescued my beautiful Cane Corso! I love all animals and can be trusted to treat your fur-baby with the upmost care and attention. I’m very active so I’m happy to play/hike/walk all day, I’ve even roller-skated with a pup. As I mentioned, I have a rescued giant breed. With her being a tougher rescue she has taught me how to handle almost any situation. She is reactive on walks so I’ve done training to continue to get her exercise with as much ease as possible. That being said, I can handle most dogs at all levels, no matter the size. Currently, I work 3 evenings a week with open daytime availability. I can drop in or take your pup for a walk anytime during the day and most evenings. I exercise often and go on lots of walks through the day, so if you have a high energy dog it’s no challenge for me. I wait a bit between exercise and feeding but I will prepare the food exactly how you and your pup prefer. I’m comfortable with crating and have done crate training.

“If you're ever looking for a place for your fur kids to stay while you go out of town, I highly recommend Laura. I have 2 neurotic cats; 1 has CH that does not like getting confined in crates/small place and the other is spicy/moody. The stay was short with a (somewhat) unusual request, but Laura took them all in stride and went the extra mile to look after Sam and Cloud. Definitely one of my best rover experience and would not hesitate to ask her again in the future.”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I truly can't imagine life without them. I currently have two dogs and three cats, and I've been caring for pets for as long as I can remember. My home has a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely play, explore, and burn off energy while always being supervised. I know every pet has their own personality and routine, so I take the time to make them feel comfortable, loved, and secure while you're away. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playing fetch, cuddling on the couch, or simply relaxing, I'll care for them as if they were my own. I have a fenced yard (about half an acre) and another 9 acres of unfenced area. I work from home during the week, so will have plenty of time for walks, play-time, etc. I am good with all ages/sizes. My kids are all adults now and thought it would be a good idea to care for your fur baby as a temporary companion. I will stick to whatever rules an guidelines you may have for your pet. I can't wait to provide comfort, trust and safety for your pet while you are away. I am open to last minute request, I know emergencies happen; and have flexible drop off and pick ups.
