“This was my first Rover experience, I was a bit nervous to leave my 14 year old dog Lexi, but Kurt made me feel so comfortable - texting updates and photos. He also was above and beyond with understanding and accommodating to us being later than expected to pick her up. He’s got a great property for hosting dogs and his pup Gus was very welcoming and friendly with Lexi! Kurt will definitely be our go-to pup sitter, thank you Kurt!”

“Sydney was wonderful with both my mini schnauzers. She took care of their every need and gave them lots of love. We have rebooked with her for several more dates and will continue to book with her for boarding in her home.”

“As we were scrambling last minute to find a sitter we couldn’t of found a better one than Jessie! Amazing sitter, very responsive, and loving care for those she watches! A perfect go to! Thanks Jessie and Rex thanks you as well!”

“Courtney & Kameron took great care of Barkley while I was away. He went on lots of walks and enjoyed all the extra attention. Courtney sent lots of pic throughout the weekend. Will definitely use them again!!!”

“Amari was absolutely wonderful with Frost! She took him on very short notice, which I greatly appreciated, and he had an amazing time in her care. It was clear from the updates and from how happy and relaxed Frost was when we picked him up that he was well cared for and loved. Amari is reliable, communicative, and genuinely enjoys spending time with the dogs she watches. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter. Thank you, Amari, for taking such great care of Frost!”

“I was very pleased with Jaret. I had never before left my puppy alone for more than a few hours and I can honestly say I felt super comfortable having him stay with Jaret and Jaret's partner. Both were loving, calm, and attentive caretakers of my dog- and I'm not easy to please! While staying at Jaret's, my pup came down with pink eye. Jaret was forthright and quick to let me know. He gave me options and advice on what to do, and even went as far as to contact Rover to let them know what was going on with my pup's eye. I was very pleased with how Jaret handled the situation, keeping me posted, bringing him to the vet (Jaret even researched and called multiple places around him to find the best possible care and deal) and informing me on my dog's recovery. Jaret brought him to the vet that day to get him medication. 5 days later when I came to pick up my pup, he was in tip-top shape and his happy goofy self! I will definitely be hiring Jaret again soon. Thanks, Jaret!”

About: I’ve owned a black Labrador(Anna) for over 13 years, she has not once had any sort of health issue as I’ve feed her well, and kept her up to date on vet visits. I’m caring, compassionate, and smart and versatile enough to be calm in any situation that may arise. I assure you that I will treat your pet as if it were my own. This allows me the freedom to stay focused on your pet and be there when other folks have to leave. If a situation ever does arrive my strength are communication so you can rest assured I will be in constant contact, which as a pet owner for an older girl myself id expect from others if I left her in their care. If the pet requires adequate exercise I have no problem going on a long walk with them and the space is pet friendly as my dog (Anna) is there. In your home, I can assure you that my experience will allow me to provide the best care for your loved ones.
“Overall, they are AMAZING dog sitters and do a great job! I was given tons of pictures of my Auggie having a great weekend and I was very nervous to leave him for the first time. They did a great job instilling good habits in my puppy while having him enjoy his weekend with completely new people. I’m extremely satisfied and will be using them again!!”

About: I have always grown up around pets around the house! I am currently at college and am missing being around animals. I am always available to hang out, walk, play, or just chill with a pet. I have dealt with my goldendoodle for 9 years and it is the best thing that has happened to me. I am a college student and have 2 classes everyday which are each 1 hour. Therefore, I have a lot of flexibility before, in between, and after classes. I exercise daily so walking/playing with a dog fit perfectly in my schedule. At my home I live with 3 other girls who also love pets so having pets in our place is no problem! We have a dog park right down the road and also plenty of trails near me where I can them on walks.

“Jaret was great with Marti and my mom's dog Maggie. We wound up having to change our drop off and pick up times slightly but Jaret was completely flexible. He took great care of them and made sure they were comfortable.”

About: I have either owned or been around dogs/cats since 8 yrs old, mostly dogs. I have trained my own animals simple commands (“sit, stay, paw, speak”) and I subscribe to a service that keeps me learning new tricks and tips for dogs and cats. I frequently take care of others’ animals while they are away. A friend recommended this to me, since I’ve done it for years. I also thoroughly enjoy the company of animals. I am an RN that picks up shifts, per diem. Due to my specialties, (Critical and Emergency Care,) I enjoy the company of non-humans, and a less hectic environment to keep me energized and in a good frame of mind to continue nursing. Animals do just that! How could they not? I am able to walk, let animals out, play with, train, and crate (if needed,) I do not mind loading your dog into my car for a quick road trip, too! If they like that, anyway! I am experienced with different breeds, multiple dog households, and pet safety.
“Jessie always does a great job taking care of our sweet, but shy fur baby! We appreciate the pictures and updates she regularly sends us. It makes our hearts happy knowing that our dog is getting wonderful care and lots of love when we’re away!”

During my time as a veterinary technician, I gained valuable hands-on experience, including learning how to properly administer medications and mastering essential techniques. My experience at a professional boarding facility further reinforced my passion for providing personalized, attentive care through home-based pet services. I recently worked as a groomer's apprentice, but I’m currently studying to become a certified dog obedience trainer, which will expand my ability to support your furry family members. If your fur-baby is a social butterfly, they’ll love visiting me. My home often welcomes friends and family, some bring their dogs for playdates, too! For less social pets, I will ensure a calm and comfortable environment tailored to their needs. While my new home doesn’t have a fenced yard, I’ve adjusted by providing supervised outdoor time with 15-foot leads in my spacious backyard. I also prioritize mealtime safety and feed pets in separate spaces to ensure a stress-free experience. If a crate is needed, I have one available so you don't have to transport yours!
About: I am a stay at home Mom and would love to help other pet owners be at ease knowing their pets are being taken care of while you’re at work or out of town. Being at home allows me to be very flexible with the care you need. My family has both a dog and cat at home, so I’m familiar with the care needed for both. I’ve also cared for an elder dog before needing insulin administered. I am a stay at home mom, so my schedule is very flexible to work with your needs! I’m happy to work with you! I have a large un-fenced yard surrounded by woods; supervised time outside only and on a leash unless you and I both are confident in obedience to come when called. I have a small dog at home who prefers a cuddle buddy over a play mate, but she is friendly with most dogs and loves cats! In the event I leave home I prefer crating until I get to know your pup.

About: I have been pet sitting as a side job for 4 years now, but my passion for animals has been a lifelong journey. From a young age, I’ve been surrounded by pets, and pet sitting has allowed me to further channel my love and care for animals. My experience spans a variety of pets, with a particular focus on caring for large breed dogs during my time in Australia. Whether tending to puppies or elderly pets, I approach each responsibility with the utmost dedication and a deep understanding of their unique needs. I have flexible availability as I focus only on my studies at the moment I don't have a side job, allowing me to offer reliable pet care. I treat each pet like they’re part of my family, whether they’re staying in my home or theirs. I make sure to stick to their usual routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. This includes playtime, walks, meals, and grooming as needed. I also keep in touch with the pet’s owner to provide regular updates and make sure everything is going smoothly. Above all, I strive to create a loving, safe environment where pets can feel at ease while their owners are away
About: I have tons of experience because of living abroad on American compounds where people are always travelling, they always come to me to take care of the little guys! As a rising sophomore at Virginia Tech studying cybersecurity and Russian, my schedule is very flexible over the summer. I’m currently home and free throughout the day, which gives me plenty of time to focus on pet care. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or drop-in visits, I can easily adjust to fit your pet’s needs and routine. I always prioritize each pet’s comfort and safety, whether I’m in my home or the client’s. I have experience handling large, untrained dogs and know how to stay calm and in control. I also use positive reinforcement techniques to encourage good behavior. For senior dogs or shy pets who need extra patience and care, I take things slow and make sure they feel safe and supported. I always follow any instructions you leave to make sure your pet feels at home, happy, and secure.

My family, neighbors, and friends all rely on me to take great care of their pets when they cannot. I am currently a student at Virginia Tech with only 1 class Monday-Thursday and would love to spend my free time with pets. I am completely open and very flexible to accommodate your schedules. I would love to pet sit weekdays as well as weekends. I have a backyard that I would love to play with dogs in, I have multiple trails near me to go for walks, and I will make sure your pet is comforted immensely when they are inside my home.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, guinea pigs, turtles, you name it! Trusted by friends, family, neighbors, and my community to take care of any animal no matter the size or behavior! I’m a college student, and soon to be former college athlete, in my last quarter at DU, so I’m only taking a few classes and have almost all of my days available for you! Trust is huge to me! If your fur baby is comfortable, I’m comfortable! I take the time to learn their habits, likes, fears, and triggers to make sure we can have the best possible experience for you and your pet.
About: What sets me apart is my experience working with dogs of many different personalities and backgrounds through my volunteer work at an animal shelter. I am trained and certified to take shelter dogs on “Doggy Day Out” adventures, which has given me hands-on experience handling everything from energetic and playful dogs to shy, nervous, or more independent dogs. I’m comfortable reading dog body language, adjusting to each dog’s comfort level, and providing a safe, positive experience. I understand that every dog is different, and I take the time to learn their individual personality, routine, and needs. Whether your pup needs lots of exercise, a calm companion, or extra patience and reassurance, I’m happy to meet them where they are. I am currently in school perusing my PhD in accounting at Vtech. I typically work on the office in the mornings and then from home in the afternoons. I am done with classes, so my schedule is very flexible. I care for every pet as an individual and make their safety and comfort my top priorities. In a client’s home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, medication instructions, and any house rules they provide. I also make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship while I’m with them. My shelter experience has taught me to pay close attention to body language and behavior, so I can recognize when a dog is excited, nervous, overwhelmed, or simply needs some space. Most importantly, I want your pet to feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I’ll treat your home and your pets with the same respect and care I would want for my own.
