About: I currently have 4 cats whose ages range from 1 to 10 years old, so I have experience caring for cats in many different stages of life. We knew our senior dog Ginger would likely be stressed: 1st from the trip, and 2nd to be left with a stranger, in an unfamiliar environment. Linda really seems to love the dogs, she had 1-2 fosters there when we arrived (not sure, as I think I only saw 1). While I'm sure it was hard on both of them, we do sincerely appreciate her taking on our dog for a few hours, so that we could attend the wedding of an old family friend. About: Over the years I have worked with many different kinds of animals from house pets to farm animals to exotics. I have always had a passion for animals and grew up taking care of them. I have been working in the animal field since age 16 and currently work as an ER exotic veterinary technician student. I am employed full time, however my job allows me to bring pets into work with me should they need monitoring, time sensitive medications, etc. I am trained to handle both fearful and friendly pets as well as administering medications and monitoring overall health and behavior. About: I’ve had two dogs over the past 10 years that I have assisted in taking care of at my home. My families second dog passed away recently and the house is now empty of pets. As a dog-loving individual I would love to be able to watch over others’ pets and provide the proper care for them. I’m currently in the process of working part time with the city of Winchester’s summer camp for kids. I would be working during the week days and off all weekends. I have a large yard in a subdivided neighborhood that is great for taking walks. My home currently doesn’t have any pets living there. There are plenty of dog beds and furniture that is acceptable for pets to relax and sleep on. It is a three story home with 2 sets of stairs in it.
