I’ve also walked dogs through Wag and have experience with all personalities and energy levels. I work from home so your pet will get lots of attention, frequent potty breaks, and companionship throughout the day! Since I work from home, your pet will never be alone and will get all the attention and playtime throughout the day! I live in a very walkable neighborhood and enjoy taking dogs on leashed walks as well as letting them play in the yard. I provide a comfortable, home-like environment where pets can be part of the family. I have a partially fenced yard, but since it isn’t fully enclosed, dogs are always supervised and kept on a leash outside. I also take them on walks around our very walkable neighborhood. I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine and any special instructions you provide, and I’ll always prioritize their safety and comfort. My goal is for your pet to feel like they’re staying with a friend—not at a kennel!

We are new to Houston and needed someone to board our boy Groot for 8 days while we finished a cross country move. Megan and her family took him in as one of their own, and thanks to them, Groot now has a larger social circle here in Texas than we do! We had never been apart from our puppy and needless to say I was very anxious, Megan sent daily updates and photos, which helped me feel great about how Groot was doing. They will be at home in my home. You can work and enjoy your day or vacation without having to worry about your pets. I can watch your pets almost any time. I’m home almost all the time. If they’re is an appointment or anything that has to be done I will let you know ahead of time. I live in a rural area. Surrounded by the woods and not near a road. Only have 1 neighbor that is close and it’s family. Plenty of room to run and play.
About: I currently have a pup of my own who I have been training. She still has work to do. I have spent years prior to that being the house/animal sitter back home in West Virginia. I work part time. I am a teacher during the school year. In the summer I just work 5 hours 2 days a week at a local winery. I usually walk/bike my dog every morning before work. On days I do not, I try to get her out on a longer walk or swim when the weather is really hot. I have a very flexible schedule in the summer to fit in other animals. I am pretty vigilant when it comes to my own dog. I try to make sure she gets plenty of exercise. She needs it. I love getting her socialized with older and younger dogs. I have even taken my pup to school with me to socialize best with my students are blind. I would follow the care needs set forth by the dog/cat parents.
