Personalized care for your dog or cat - Hometown

“Thank you so much for sending me pictures of Smokey to assure me that he is doing alright with you. It was his first time staying with a stranger and I’m so glad it worked out so well!!!”

“Kimberly was great! She was communicative from the get go and flexible when a mishap on our trip and caused some delays. Hank enjoyed his stay very much, and we will definitely be using her again!”

“Melissa took care of my pup for a week, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the start, she was friendly and easy to communicate with. I could tell right away that she really loves animals. Every day, she sent me the cutest pictures and videos, which made me feel so relaxed knowing my dog was happy, safe, and having a blast. It felt like he got treated just like one of her own — lots of love, attention, and playtime. When I picked him up, he was so calm and clearly had an awesome time with her. And as a sweet bonus, she even gave me the cutest little gift when I came to get him. I’d highly recommend Melissa to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to watch their pet. I’ll definitely be booking with her again. Thanks so much, Melissa!”

“I read so many reviews before I chose Christy to take care of my 10 week old puppy. I was so nervous to leave him with just anyone especially given that he’s a work in progress being potty trained. I wanted to be sure I found someone with the experience to care and love on my pup while I was away. Christy did not disappoint! I got so many updates and pictures while she was caring for him. I highly recommend her and would definitely choose her to keep my fur baby again!”

“Did great. Got pics and updates.”

Todd C.

“Brenda provided care for my little dog so we could attend an event on the WV State campus. Brenda was caring and asked good questions while getting to know our little girl, sent pics and updates, and took fantastic care of her for the day. She had a gated yard for the dogs to roam. I would recommend Brenda without hesitation for anyone looking for a great sitter for their pet.”

Janaya T.

“I will definitely be calling Patricia again! As a first time Rover user, she was really great. She ended up being within walking distance from our home. Love the pictures she sent to let me know how our Queenie was doing. She took her on walks and was very understanding of Queenie's preferences.”

Angela H.

“Cristy was great :) Such a welcoming host for my pup Molly. Molly had a blast hanging out with Cristy and her dogs. Wouldn’t hesitate to book her again!”

“Thank you Pat for being such a great pet sitter for Chance. Pat shared pictures daily and messaged me about how he was doing. She took him for walks multiple times that he absolutely loves. Since he is a senior, I have a strict diet schedule for him and she was so good about following it. Chance seemed so happy with her. I’m looking forward to having Chance stay with Pat again when I have to be out of town soon.”

“Josie took this booking REALLY last minute (like 6 am day of) after we got delayed flying home. She stopped in before she went to work and made sure everyone had food and was okay. Her flexibility to fit this into her schedule was wonderful and helped us out so much. We love her taking care of our cats and the cats love her even more!”
