“Jaret watched my pittie mix for 11 days, and we could relax knowing that he was in great hands. He sent beautiful photos of our Louie on walks, which made us feel much better about being away for so long. Louie came home relaxed and I think he really enjoyed his time there. Would 10/10 recommend and rebook.”

About: I’ve taken care of cats & kittens and dogs with their puppies for family, friends and workmates. They’ve snuggled on my lap and slept in my bed and their comfort and routine are my priority. I’m currently working from home so I would be with your pet continuously. Boarding could be any day of the week including weekends….and holidays too. I have a fenced yard and large porch where your pet will be comfortable…although your pet would never be outside alone. I start my day when they do and I’m near a state park where walks are wonderful.
“She was great! Kept me updated daily, sometimes several times a day with lots of photos and videos. Also sent them home with toys, treats and a fresh bath. Would definitely use again!”

About: I love animals. All animals. I’ve had pets since I was a baby. I have 3 dogs and a Persian cat. I’ve always wanted to work with pets and this seems great. I will love and care for your pet like they were my own and you will never have to worry about them. I know your pets are your family and I will care for and love them. They will be at home in my home. You can work and enjoy your day or vacation without having to worry about your pets. I can watch your pets almost any time. I’m home almost all the time. If there is an appointment or anything that has to be done I will let you know ahead of time. I live in a rural area. Surrounded by the woods and not near a road. Only have 1 neighbor that is close and it’s family. Plenty of room to run and play.

“Shannon took great care of my kitties and went above a beyond when there was a small ant infestation in their automatic feeder! She sent great photos and updates so I didn't have to worry or wonder how they were doing when I was away. And they seemed to really connect with her, she is definitely a cat person :) I'll be re-booking for my next out of town trip and would highly recommend!”

“We are incredibly grateful to have found Taylor to care for our fur babies. Before our vacation, Taylor took the time to meet our animals, it was clear she had reviewed our profile information and asked great questions. Taylor's care for our animals was thorough and consistent, and her confidence in administering medication to one of our cats was reassuring. We highly recommend Taylor for anyone seeking reliable and compassionate animal care.”

About: I’m a long time cat sitter! I love cats and unfortunately am unable to give one a home due to a family member’s allergies, so I love spending time with other’s! I’m very comfortable with all kinds of cats and have confidence delivering meds when necessary
“Eliza was the absolute best! She was very detailed in her Rover cards. I could tell she was a true animal lover and my senior absolutely loved her! It was such a nice treat to know my boy was safe while I was at work. I would highly recommend her to anyone!”

“Jaret was great with Marti and my mom's dog Maggie. We wound up having to change our drop off and pick up times slightly but Jaret was completely flexible. He took great care of them and made sure they were comfortable.”

“Jodi was great - timely in meeting at our predetermined location, flexible with times, friendly/personable, and forgiving of my dog’s elderly foibles (like sometimes peeing inside). I would certainly have her sit again in the future.”

During my time as a veterinary technician, I gained valuable hands-on experience, including learning how to properly administer medications and mastering essential techniques. My experience at a professional boarding facility further reinforced my passion for providing personalized, attentive care through home-based pet services. I recently worked as a groomer's apprentice, but I’m currently studying to become a certified dog obedience trainer, which will expand my ability to support your furry family members. I’ve loved every moment of my past six years on Rover, from meeting incredible families to caring for pets of all types and personalities. 🐾As a stay-at-home mom, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give your pets the attention they deserve. I’m here to help whenever you need a trusted sitter! To ensure a balanced schedule for both my family and the pets in my care, my phone is silenced between 10 PM and 8 AM. During this time, I may not respond immediately, but I will get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you for understanding! 🐾About my home: Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities! If your fur-baby is a social butterfly, they’ll love visiting me. My home often welcomes friends and family, some bring their dogs for playdates, too! For less social pets, I will ensure a calm and comfortable environment tailored to their needs. While my new home doesn’t have a fenced yard, I’ve adjusted by providing supervised outdoor time with 15-foot leads in my spacious backyard. I also prioritize mealtime safety and feed pets in separate spaces to ensure a stress-free experience. If a crate is needed, I have one available so you don't have to transport yours!

“Another RAVE review for dear Shannon ! She braves wind and rain to get our dog walking while we were away.We have no worries when Shannon is taking care of our Winnie !”

About: I have plenty of experience watching my friends and families pets, but never professionally. With my experience as a vet assistant/technician, I have gained so much veterinary knowledge and experience with all kinds of animals. I have helped take care of hundreds pets whether they are sick, injured, or just need their nails trimmed :) I would love to take care of your babies while you’re away because I know how difficult it can be to leave them! I have 3 pets myself and I love them more than anything in this world! I work full time, but no overnight shifts! So I will always be able to take care of your pets when they need me! I travel some but not often so I am in town most weekends :) Every pet is different, but with my experience as a veterinary technician I am used to working with all kinds of animals needs. I am very comfortable giving medication, special diets, or any kind of specific care that your pet would need!

About: I am very comfortable dealing with many types of animals. I regularly care for a medically demanding cat and administer advanced meds. I love getting a break from studying to get outside and give some extra love and attention to a furry friend! I have experience caring for very young puppies, all the way to older pups and love every age in between! I’m currently in school and in class until about noon, so I can absolutely stop by for a walk, for dinner time, or just some general company! I am more than comfortable feeding, crating, and walking all types and sizes of dogs. I would like to spend time with each animal beyond just a walk or feeding to get them comfortable with me.
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, and enjoy walking them and getting to hangout with them, though my dogs normally weigh over sixty pounds, I also like walking small dogs. I’m pit bull friendly and I don't mind crazy, jumping, pulling, hyper pups. I can start at 6 am but would like to be home by 9 pm. Hours are, of course, subject to change depending on the amount of clients booked. I provide 15 minute to 1 hour walks, as well as, approved trips to parks. I can also check in on pups for feeding and any clean ups throughout the day.
About: I have loved & cared for animals my entire life. Since moving to the New River Gorge I have worked remotely for a cat rescue and have fostered through New River Rescue. Over the years I have helped with spay-neuter transports, photographed foster animals (I am a photographer by trade) and helped post animals to Petfinder with Whisker’s Fund. I am a very attentive, kind, and mindful pet caregiver. I am excited about the opportunity to meet & care for your pets. Since I just moved to the New River Gorge, my schedule is very open. I am remotely volunteering with Whisker’s Fund and have a very flexible schedule. I will ensure my client’s directions are followed with care and utmost attention to detail. I am responsible and trustworthy. In my own home I am very cleanly, responsible, and attentive to my four cats. They always have a clean litter box, toys to play with, and lots of love and attention.
