About: I have cared for many pets of friends and family members over the years. Sadly, I had to put my own dog down this fall (13yo Boxer named Neeco) and am looking to get my pup fix through volunteering at the SPCA and pet-sitting/walking, as I am not quite ready to take on another dog just yet. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and ages, but I especially love senior doggos. I currently work part-time as an RN and make my own schedule, so am very flexible in that regard. Available for boarding most weekends Friday-Monday. My yard is unfenced but on a very private road with low traffic. Lots of trails and streams to explore if that is something your fur baby would enjoy! If not, we have a large deck and screened in porch for outdoor lounging, and big comfy couch by the fireplace for them to relax.

About: I kind of fell into the dog sitting fun. My mom used to “sit” with every kind of being from baby to dog before it became a popular hustle. Growing up I’ve always helped and learned from her how to care for other’s family members as one’s own. In my spare time, I love to hike and I walk everyday. “Hannah is a lifesaver! My husband and I had to attend a wedding near Harrisonburg, VA, which was a few hours away from home. We usually travel with our dog, Freya, so had to look for someone who can watch her while we attend the event. We couldn't do a meet and greet with Hannah and her dog days before the wedding since she's far but she took her chances with us. She sent us photos of Freya and she let Freya sleep on her bed, which was really sweet given she's only met Freya that same day. That, plus her calming approach made Freya, and me as a dog mom, feel at ease with her. I will definitely recommend her and use her services again if we come back to the area. Thank you, Hannah!”
