We were a little worried because we'd not gotten a chance to meet her before we got into town and we were 8 hours away from home but as soon as we met her we knew that she'd take great care of the dogs. She has two smaller dogs of her own that she kept separate from ours while we were there, but by the time we picked Hope and Lou up a few days later everyone was hanging out together. She was quick to update when I checked in on the dogs, but really, I felt comfortable enough that I only texted twice. I would absolutely leave them with her again when I'm back in the area.”

I have emergency meds as well. Luckily, I have a house with a fences in yard, animal friendly household with spare rooms and a heated/cooled garage/closed/secured garage for any kind of special separation needs (in heat/aggressive breeds/outside animals, etc).
