We live in a larger home in a rural residential area we have 4 cats and 2 dogs that we’ve adopted. They have up to date shots and are fixed and well socialised. And can be separated if needed. I primarily take care of the animals however Christian is here to assist:) I’m certified in cat and dog CPR/First Aid. For house sitting serviced I will be the person staying onsite and taking care of your furbabies and home! I provide light house cleaning/household tasks while caring for your pets while you’re away. I can be onsite full time and we’ll have a discussion about detailed availability and scheduling :) I work close to home and short shifts. However when I’m not home my partner Christian is. He works from home and helps with potty breaks and care. We will treat your pets like our own. They can roam or hangout on the couch. I’ve been lucky to grow up with dogs of all levels; Huskies, Mastiffs, Pugs, etc. I started watching friends, family, and neighbors pets in 2019 and in 2021 I rescued my beautiful Cane Corso! I love all animals and can be trusted to treat your fur-baby with the upmost care and attention. I’m very active so I’m happy to play/hike/walk all day, I’ve even roller-skated with a pup. As I mentioned, I have a rescued giant breed. With her being a tougher rescue she has taught me how to handle almost any situation. She is reactive on walks so I’ve done training to continue to get her exercise with as much ease as possible. That being said, I can handle most dogs at all levels, no matter the size. Currently, I work 3 evenings a week with open daytime availability. I can drop in or take your pup for a walk anytime during the day and most evenings. I exercise often and go on lots of walks through the day, so if you have a high energy dog it’s no challenge for me. About: I have been animal sitting for almost 9 years now, starting when I was in high school. I have experience in animal care for multiple species, energy levels, behaviors, ages, and health needs. No task is too big for me, my biggest job was being a sitter for a family of 10 dogs, and a pig! I worked at a nonprofit animal rescue where I learned more about how to care for cats and dogs, and how to gauge their personalities, and energy levels. I am passionate about animal happiness and satisfaction. Right now, I am completely free. I have a car and a valid drivers license. I just moved back home after hiking for 4 months on the Appalachian trail, while walking I had lots of time to think about my passions, and of those are animal welfare, care, and personally staying active and fit! I have two personal dogs, one of which is a senior in hospice care, out of respect for him, I am not taking animals into my home right now. However, any type of drop-ins or house-sitting is on the table. I take direction seriously and can provide medical care, activity, play, feeding, or anything else that is needed for your beloved animal!

About: I graduated college with my Bachelors in Animal Studies with a Minor in Psychology. Through my college experience I have gotten to work with cats, dogs, reptiles, farm animals, and pocket pets! I have over 8+ years of experiences with pet care inside/outside of college as well. I have watched/had pets ranging from cats, dogs, reptiles, small pets, and pocket pets! What sets me apart from other pet sitters is I take the time and dedication to help you and your pet out! I always send daily updates of your pets and take the time to make sure your pet is happy while you are away. I treat others pets as my own and make sure they have the upmost health while they are in my care. I also have experience with administering medications topically, orally, and injections. I keep my schedule on Rover up to date that way both clients and I can be connected on the same page! I'm available for walks in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings (depending on schedule). I am also able to dog pet boarding at my home or yours, which ever you are comfortable with! Even though I do not have a fenced in backyard, I leash walk all dogs to make sure they are safe and get plenty of exercise. My cat is also up to date on all their vaccines and are extremely friendly and will keep your pets company! If need be I can also crate your pet if you perfer! I make it a priority to have the safest area for your pets and have trust with the owners that your pets are in great care while you are gone or need help!

“If you're ever looking for a place for your fur kids to stay while you go out of town, I highly recommend Laura. I have 2 neurotic cats; 1 has CH that does not like getting confined in crates/small place and the other is spicy/moody. The stay was short with a (somewhat) unusual request, but Laura took them all in stride and went the extra mile to look after Sam and Cloud. Definitely one of my best rover experience and would not hesitate to ask her again in the future.”
