We take care of friends and family's pets and farm animals whenever needed. I work from home. My husband does too. About: I've lived with pets all my life and while I’ve only had one human roommate in the last 30 years, I've always had a least one cat up until 2018. I LOVE cats (esp kittens), and am quite comfortable around dogs as well (I love them too, just not in all capitals, LOL). When I first started pet sitting, I thought I preferred cats to dogs, but the past few years have enabled me to expand in my love of, and comfort with dogs (but please don't tell the cats that)! I also used to 'lease' a horse in my youth and have experience with birds, hamsters, fish, and guinea pigs. I DON'T like snakes or insects (sorry!) In the last 12 years I’ve volunteered with several rescues as a cat/kitten foster and I'm known to be particularly good with feral kittens and cats. I'm really good with walking (dogs mostly), dispensing medications, and loving attention, but I'm not a pushover when it comes to treats from the table (that's a no-no) staying on leash when required, and letting them know I mean business when necessary. I don't believe in EVER striking or punishing animals and seem to fall in love with them all. I’ve been a house and pet sitter on the site “Trusted Housesitters” since 2018 and have over 21 positive reviews there. I’m recently retired (yet surprisingly busy). I don’t do a lot of night driving, but am otherwise generally available. I’m a stickler about being on time, and keeping dates I commit to. My preference is for cats to remain indoors at all times at my house, and dogs always on a lead when outside. I have a variety of crate sizes here, and am totally comfortable with your fur kids riding in my car, lounging on my furniture, and/or sleeping in my bed. I have all wood floors, plenty of cat litter pans and bowls for food and water. My yard is not fenced but I have easy access to neighborhood parks.

I work remote and have the time to spend with your furry companion. I have two dogs of my own that I foster. My schedule is open and flexible to meet your dogs needs. I live in a three story townhouse that allows me the space to observe each dogs temperament to see how they interact with other dogs.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of different breeds since I was young. I love dogs and have a blue heeler named Ruger. I’ve had family and friends that have relied on me to pet sit over the years. I currently work full time and I’m home in the evenings by 5 usually. Overnight boarding would be simple as I am home every evening. My yard is not fenced in but I have about an acre. About: My wife & I grew up with pets all kinds and recently we adopted a dog from a rescue and that spark has been reignited of what we've been missing. We have thought long and hard and prayed about doing this. We have a 11 year old son that loves to walk the animals and give them exercise and plenty of opportunities to do their business. My Wife home schools and I currently work part-time so someone will always be home to monitor your pet/pets. We have been told that recent pets we've sitted are in heaven when their in our home. About: I have experience not only pet sitting in someone’s home, but also outside of their home. I currently work as a dog bather, so I have experience with animals and handling there too! I am currently working part time, only about 20 hours a week, so I have plenty of time to give that special dog in your life a walk for you when you’re unable! Our yard is partially fenced in (half of it is fenced) and we have another dog in our house. Your dog will primarily stay with me, alone where I can watch them! And if they need to go out, I am able to take breaks when I need to to take them out.

In a clients home I would like to be provided with any information regarding food aggression, possessiveness, schedule the dogs follow and any special accommodations needed to best suit the pet(s). I do work full time so a typical day for me is waking up early, I take my dogs out, feed them, meditate if needed, one more potty break before leaving. They do go out mid day by a dog walker that comes in. And then after work they go outside, eat dinner, outside again and then hangout and play until bedtime where we do night treat and one more bathroom break. I have pets at home that are super dog friendly. They absolutely love any company. I volunteer with a rescue so they are very used to other dogs coming in and out. I have the ability to separate dogs if needed, crate dogs if needed (one of my girls get crated and one does not)

Potty breaks after meals and before meals and before bedtime. I always follow instructions from the owner before interactions with my pups. I usually will have a doggie on a leash at my house unless the owner states otherwise.
