Our sweet and playful pup, Abbi, gets anxious in new environments, while our 13-year-old, Hank, is mostly sweet and playful but can also be a bit reactive when startled, especially by fast movements or unfamiliar people. Brian was incredible with both of them. Hank warmed up to him almost immediately (something that rarely happens) and seeing him snuggling his head into Brian's hand during one of the daily video updates was a highlight for us. Brian’s calm, confident presence clearly helped both of our dogs feel safe and happy. They had plenty of space to explore, lots of outdoor playtime, and were cared for with patience and attentiveness. In addition to putting our dogs at ease, he also managed to put my husband-who tends to be quite anxious about leaving them-at ease, as well. “Linda did an amazing job watching our little pup Bentley. We were gone for 5 days and she accommodated us with even picking him up a bit early. Bentley has only been with us for 4 months so we weren't sure how it would go. It went amazing. So much so he even looked a little sad to be leaving Linda. She gave updates even when I wasn't able to ask or get right back with her. Bentley has a bit of a finicky stomach and has zero problems since we brought him home. About: I currently have 4 cats whose ages range from 1 to 10 years old, so I have experience caring for cats in many different stages of life. About: I have experience not only pet sitting in someone’s home, but also outside of their home. I currently work as a dog bather, so I have experience with animals and handling there too! I am currently working part time, only about 20 hours a week, so I have plenty of time to give that special dog in your life a walk for you when you’re unable! About: I’ve taken care of many different pets over the past two years. I created a Facebook page for pet sitting and have watch dogs, cats, even ducks. I love any and all pets! I’m currently taking collage classes online while doing pet sitting. We take care of friends and family's pets and farm animals whenever needed. I work from home. My husband does too. We have cats and dogs, and a large 2 story home with live in attic. Our dogs are trained to sleep freely and roam our property off leash. About: I've lived with pets all my life and while I’ve only had one human roommate in the last 30 years, I've always had a least one cat up until 2018. I LOVE cats (esp kittens), and am quite comfortable around dogs as well (I love them too, just not in all capitals, LOL). When I first started pet sitting, I thought I preferred cats to dogs, but the past few years have enabled me to expand in my love of, and comfort with dogs (but please don't tell the cats that)! I also used to 'lease' a horse in my youth and have experience with birds, hamsters, fish, and guinea pigs. I DON'T like snakes or insects (sorry!) In the last 12 years I’ve volunteered with several rescues as a cat/kitten foster and I'm known to be particularly good with feral kittens and cats. I'm really good with walking (dogs mostly), dispensing medications, and loving attention, but I'm not a pushover when it comes to treats from the table (that's a no-no) staying on leash when required, and letting them know I mean business when necessary. I don't believe in EVER striking or punishing animals and seem to fall in love with them all. I’ve been a house and pet sitter on the site “Trusted Housesitters” since 2018 and have over 21 positive reviews there. I’m recently retired (yet surprisingly busy). I don’t do a lot of night driving, but am otherwise generally available. I’m a stickler about being on time, and keeping dates I commit to. My preference is for cats to remain indoors at all times at my house, and dogs always on a lead when outside. I have a variety of crate sizes here, and am totally comfortable with your fur kids riding in my car, lounging on my furniture, and/or sleeping in my bed. I have all wood floors, plenty of cat litter pans and bowls for food and water. My yard is not fenced but I have easy access to neighborhood parks.

I have pets at home that are super dog friendly. They absolutely love any company. I volunteer with a rescue so they are very used to other dogs coming in and out. About: My wife & I grew up with pets all kinds and recently we adopted a dog from a rescue and that spark has been reignited of what we've been missing. We have thought long and hard and prayed about doing this. We have a 11 year old son that loves to walk the animals and give them exercise and plenty of opportunities to do their business. My Wife home schools and I currently work part-time so someone will always be home to monitor your pet/pets. We have been told that recent pets we've sitted are in heaven when their in our home. We have one small pup she is 3.5 years old and seems to do well with other pets. We will love and care for your pets just as if they were our own.
