About: Hi Loving Furparents, My lifelong passion is interspecies communication, animal care & behavior, ecology, and environmental conservation. I have grown up communicating, training/learning, caretaking, and translating for animals my entire life, and I continue to follow my passion for animal care, rehabilitation, conservation, and helping others learn to listen and communicate with animals. I have recently lost my soul dog and partner of nearly 16 years to osteosarcoma. I have experience learning life lessons our senior friends teach us; to slow down, smell the wildflowers, enjoy the little things in life, lead with empathy, lend a helping hand to one another, and be grateful for the moment we have together. I have experience with caretaking during mobility issues for both animals, using help-em-up harnesses and wheelchairs. Additionally, I have awareness and understanding of training needs when the human is afflicted with chronic illness and mobility impairments, such as helping the animal to learn and be mindful of unsteadiness, fall prevention, etc. My current SDiT and I are working on counterbalance, DPT, crowd guarding, behavior interruptions, and some preliminary scent work. Additional Background of Experience; I grew up in the area with a variety of species throughout the years, from cats & dogs to horses, rodents, fish, chickens & guinea fowl to turtles, etc. This experience came with interspecies management, learning to hand-rear animals, helping animals learn core life skills, assess and rehab injury, hospice care, etc. Later, I completed a multidisciplinary degree from WVU with concentrations in Wildlife Management and Conservation Ecology. At WVU, I completed curriculum including a Service Dog Training course where the dog I worked with (Gretel) graduated the following year to become a certified therapy dog at Chestnut Ridge. Additional courses included Animal Behavior, Equine Hoof and Limb, Equine Assisted Therapy, and Exotic Animal Medicine, among others. Since graduating, I have compiled formal experience working with both domestic animals, wildlife and protection of their habitat. I had the privilege to work abroad in Botswana, Africa at game reserves where we were able to rehabilitate animals, provide game drives, supplemental feeding etc., and interned at Mokolodi Nature Reserve in Botswana, Africa, caring for animals in rehabilitation. I currently work full-time, which unfortunately limits my availability to primarily evenings and weekends at this time. Well-behaved, socialized dogs may be able to join during office work days. I am considering transitioning to full-time animal training, should it be feasible, which may allow for additional availability in the future. Additionally, I am navigating chronic illness after long covid through schedule modification and mindful movement during caretaking. Thank you for your understanding schedule limitations during this transition. Please communicate with me your dogs needs i.e.; whether your pet has separation anxiety, medical needs or food allergies, usual routines that make them feel safe, enrichment or husbandry that helps positively stimulate them mentally and emotionally, triggers to be mindful of/avoid, whether they have off leash recall or there are chase drive trigger concerns and they must stay leashed at all times, and anything else you feel is relevant so we may collaborate on their care plan to provide them the best support. I do have a large crate available for dogs that are most comfortable with crate training when it is necessary to leave them at home. Our geriatric cat Fluffy lives in the home with us (please alert me to dogs that have not been socialized with cats), there is a rescue parrot in the household, and I have a ~55 lb rescue and SDIT who is very friendly and loves having someone to play and run around in the yard with. She was a family member to my geriatric dog with mobility concerns before his passing, and she has experience with older dogs and cats.
About: I’ve taken care of many dogs of all ages and sizes since I was young and none have given me any trouble. I don’t mind picking up messes that any dog might make. I absolutely love playing with them and taking them on walks. I doordash as my job so my availability is 100% open to any kind of needs your dog has. I pick what hours I work with door dash but normally I’ll door dash throughout the day then come home for the day around 5. Although when watching any animal I tend to switch up my hours so I can make sure your pup is getting all the love and attention it needs. I like to keep a clean house so no dog has a chance to get into anything that could harm them or chew on anything not wanted.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals as long as I can remember. From taking care of my own pets to helping others out with their pets, I love providing the pet care an owner needs help with and a pet needs. Growing up, I lived across the street from my great aunt who bred and showed Great Danes. From a young age I remember sitting and watching out the front window for my aunt to come home so I could call her and ask if I could come help her with her Danes. When I was 10 years old, I started my own dog walking/pet sitting business and I have helped numerous families out with their pets while they were out on vacation or just needed help getting their pets outside for some exercise. I took on this booking even though I had a gut feeling not to, but I ignored it and I wish I had not done that. I was asked last minute by Debby to care for her diabetic cat, she told me her cat was great with strangers and would have no issue with taking the insulin shots from me (lie number one). The morning of my first visit, Debby had messaged me informing she had birds in the house and to not pay attention to them.. now let me start off by saying that due to a past traumatic experience with a previous clients birds, I have developed a fear of being near them in close spaces (to which she pokes fun at in her review) and had I known she had them, I would not have accepted this booking. I was hesitant to enter her house but she said they were in a cage so I proceeded with the visit, upon opening her door one of the birds almost FLEW OUTSIDE because they were NOT in a cage(lie number two). I was immediately concerned by this not only due to my fear of birds but due to this being a safety risk considering the birds could’ve flew out the door if I didn’t get to it in time. After this happened, I wanted to turn around and leave but I couldn’t because I needed to give her cat an insulin shots. After I went upstairs, I could not find the cat anywhere and after ten minutes I found her hiding under the bed hissing at me, she was in no way friendly towards strangers. I did my best to get her to come with me, I was at the visit way longer than the scheduled 30 minutes to try to make sure her cat got the shot. After I was finally able to lure her out with a treat, I had to quickly grab her and administer the shot.. she clawed at me and bit me several times (photo proof was sent to rover). I was very taken back by this visit due to unexpected birds and a cat who was the complete opposite of what their owner described. I felt unsafe to continue the booking and feared that due to the cat’s unwillingness to come to me that she might not get her shots injected properly so her health was my number one priority, I immediately called rover support to report everything that had happened and I also informed Debby at the same time. Debby was awful to me, made fun of me and treated me with complete disregard and through all of that, I still remained calm, collective and professional. After she had hinted at threatening me, I cut off all contact with her and immediately reported that to rover as well. At that point it was now rover and Debby’s responsibility for the cats care, I felt even more unsafe after the awful things Debby said to me. I didn’t have to but I even worked with rover to find another sitter and wanted them to make sure they made others aware of the trust situation, I even offered to take the cat it’s vet or local cat sitting agency but that was denied and rover told me they would handle it all. After one week, I found that my rover account had been suspended and I had to call rover and speak with over ten different reps in one week to get my account back.. finally after they realized I had done NO wrong and it was all the pet owner, I got my account back and a lengthy apology from Rover. Upon getting my account back, I noticed Debby had left that review and I was devastated by that. I have worked so hard on this app to give the best care for others animals and that’s been proven by every other review just for hers to completely destroy all the good I’ve been doing by lying. I’m truly upset with Rover for not only allowing that review to be left there, but for allowing Debby to even still have an account after her lies, threats and defamation. I hope that no other rover sitters go through what I did with her. With all of that being said, I refuse to delete my account and start over as I want people to see all the good I’ve done and to be aware of what truly happened with Debby. I hope to continue to provide the best care possible for all my current rover clients and future ones, please do not let one woman’s lies deter you away from someone who truly loved and care for animals with her whole heart. I absolutely love playing with them and taking them on walks. I doordash as my job so my availability is 100% open to any kind of needs your dog has. I pick what hours I work with door dash but normally I’ll door dash throughout the day then come home for the day around 5. Although when watching any animal I tend to switch up my hours so I can make sure your pup is getting all the love and attention it needs. I love hanging out with animals and spoiling them like I do with my own pets. I am comfortable taking care of multiple pets and fur babies of all sizes. I have a very flexible schedule. I am available for full time or part time work. I am currently a stay at home mom, so my availability is fairly free, but it varies from week to week. I am pretty flexible and willing to work with your schedule. I let my pets out multiple times a day and take them on walks. I love to take my pets out on hikes as well.
About: I have always had a big heart for pets. This includes cats and dogs. I enjoy being around them, feeding them, and cleaning after them. I work full time for a nonprofit, but have flexibility. I’m mostly available on Fridays-Mondays. I currently care for doggies and cats in my own home. My doggy is on a feeding schedule and get regular walks. He enjoys playing tug-a-war with me and enjoys having me the one to fetch his toys. I easily get along with animals and enjoy playing and exercising them.
