“Jessica was amazing with our 8-year-old pup! She took such good care of our sweet and quirky dog — Poppy made quick friends with the other animals in Jessica’s care. When we plan future trips, it’s comforting to know that our pet will be well taken care of. Thank you, Jessica!”

“We had the best experience! Magic is nervous around new people but she felt comfortable within a few hours. Communication, pictures and videos were all excellent. We felt completely comfortable while we were gone. Definitely will use her again”

“Jennifer is wonderful! I'm pretty sure my puppy didn't want to leave after his two night stay in her home. He had a blast playing with her dogs and crashed as soon as he got home. If you're anything like me and are a little hesitant about leaving your dog with a stranger, your worries should end here! Your pet will be in the absolute best hands!”

“She was able to watch my dog on very short notice and willing to give meds not noted on my profile as they were only temporary. She sent lots of photos, was very responsive, and it looked like she treated my dog like her own. 10/10 would have her watch my pup again - thanks, Sophia!”

“Tiffany was amazing taking care of my Tinkerbell. She was super responsive and provided frequent, daily updates. I never went without photos of Tinkerbell the whole week she stayed with Tiffany, which I appreciated very much. Tinkerbell clearly became comfortable very quickly in the new environment. I would highly recommend Tiffany with her caring, compassionate demeanor.”

“Brandi really gives me a comfortable and carefree vacation! When my kitties come back, I see them really happy and cheerful, growing big for a little bit. I know they must have a great time there!”

“Lauren & Taylor did a wonderful job caring for my dog. They sent pictures and updates each day, took her for walks and she was a happy pup when we went to pick her up!!! Really appreciated them!!”

“Awesome sitter! Thanks so much for watching my little guy, I can tell he had a great vacation and I would highly recommend Solar. Very courteous and respectful and follows instructions perfectly. Would def use their services again. ?”

“This was our first time boarding with Amber and we couldn't have been happier. She was extremely accommodating with our timeline and provided pictures & feedback throughout our girls visit... this put our minds at ease allowing us to focus on a family matter. Our girl came home happy & tired!!!”

“My girls loved being with McKayla and Christian. They sent multiple updates per day and sent them how with a couple fun extra items. I really feel like they took care of my babies.”

About: I’ve taken care of many dogs of all ages and sizes since I was young and none have given me any trouble. I don’t mind picking up messes that any dog might make. I absolutely love playing with them and taking them on walks. I doordash as my job so my availability is 100% open to any kind of needs your dog has. I pick what hours I work with door dash but normally I’ll door dash throughout the day then come home for the day around 5. Although when watching any animal I tend to switch up my hours so I can make sure your pup is getting all the love and attention it needs. I like to keep a clean house so no dog has a chance to get into anything that could harm them or chew on anything not wanted.
“I am so happy to have found Alexis to look after my dog for one week. Having daily updates with pictures definitely eased my minds that my dog was adapting well in our absence. I would definitely recommend Alexis.”

About: Hi Loving Furparents, My lifelong passion is interspecies communication, animal care & behavior, ecology, and environmental conservation. I have grown up communicating, training/learning, caretaking, and translating for animals my entire life, and I continue to follow my passion for animal care, rehabilitation, conservation, and helping others learn to listen and communicate with animals. I have recently lost my soul dog and partner of nearly 16 years to osteosarcoma. I have experience learning life lessons our senior friends teach us; to slow down, smell the wildflowers, enjoy the little things in life, lead with empathy, lend a helping hand to one another, and be grateful for the moment we have together. I have experience with caretaking during mobility issues for both animals, using help-em-up harnesses and wheelchairs. Additionally, I have awareness and understanding of training needs when the human is afflicted with chronic illness and mobility impairments, such as helping the animal to learn and be mindful of unsteadiness, fall prevention, etc. My current SDiT and I are working on counterbalance, DPT, crowd guarding, behavior interruptions, and some preliminary scent work. Additional Background of Experience; I grew up in the area with a variety of species throughout the years, from cats & dogs to horses, rodents, fish, chickens & guinea fowl to turtles, etc. This experience came with interspecies management, learning to hand-rear animals, helping animals learn core life skills, assess and rehab injury, hospice care, etc. Later, I completed a multidisciplinary degree from WVU with concentrations in Wildlife Management and Conservation Ecology. At WVU, I completed curriculum including a Service Dog Training course where the dog I worked with (Gretel) graduated the following year to become a certified therapy dog at Chestnut Ridge. Additional courses included Animal Behavior, Equine Hoof and Limb, Equine Assisted Therapy, and Exotic Animal Medicine, among others. Since graduating, I have compiled formal experience working with both domestic animals, wildlife and protection of their habitat. I had the privilege to work abroad in Botswana, Africa at game reserves where we were able to rehabilitate animals, provide game drives, supplemental feeding etc., and interned at Mokolodi Nature Reserve in Botswana, Africa, caring for animals in rehabilitation. I currently work full-time, which unfortunately limits my availability to primarily evenings and weekends at this time. Well-behaved, socialized dogs may be able to join during office work days. I am considering transitioning to full-time animal training, should it be feasible, which may allow for additional availability in the future. Additionally, I am navigating chronic illness after long covid through schedule modification and mindful movement during caretaking. Thank you for your understanding schedule limitations during this transition. Please communicate with me your dogs needs i.e.; whether your pet has separation anxiety, medical needs or food allergies, usual routines that make them feel safe, enrichment or husbandry that helps positively stimulate them mentally and emotionally, triggers to be mindful of/avoid, whether they have off leash recall or there are chase drive trigger concerns and they must stay leashed at all times, and anything else you feel is relevant so we may collaborate on their care plan to provide them the best support. I do have a large crate available for dogs that are most comfortable with crate training when it is necessary to leave them at home. Our geriatric cat Fluffy lives in the home with us (please alert me to dogs that have not been socialized with cats), there is a rescue parrot in the household, and I have a ~55 lb rescue and SDIT who is very friendly and loves having someone to play and run around in the yard with. She was a family member to my geriatric dog with mobility concerns before his passing, and she has experience with older dogs and cats.
“It's hard to leave your pets with new people, but we did a meet and greet with Allie ahead of time and immediately felt at ease. Allie was great with my 11-year-old pup while I was out of town for the week, even spoiling her with her ice cream. She gave my dog her medication and sent photos daily. I would definitely book Allie again and recommend her to anyone who needed an overnight sitter.”

“Nikki was great! She sent us pics several times a day and our dog seemed to be having a great time which allowed us to relax and enjoy our family get-together. I highly recommend her, and I will definitely use her again.”

“Kaity was wonderful with my one year old golden retriever Monroe. Took her in last minute and had never sit her before. Would definitely recommend her. Very responsive and sent pics throughout the stay. I was beginning to wonder if my girl would even want to come back home 😆”

“If I could give her 10 stars I so definitely would. Her posts for the day are informative and funny. We adore her and my cat does too! So thankful we found her and so recommend. She sends pics and makes you feel comfortable being gone. She’s a blessing for sure”

“Alicia was great to work with. Very flexible with times and dates. She was extremely communicative, great with our cats, and extremely trustworthy. We will definitely book her in the future!”

About: I have taken care of cats since I was a teenager, and have my own cats since 2010. I love to play with them, cuddle with them, and give them a hairbrush every week. I helped my big boy cat lose 3 lbs in two years, he is much healthier now.

About: My family has always had cats, we currently have 5. We’ve had kittens to seniors, rescues, sick cats, hyper cats that need extra playing time, cats that would prefer to be left alone, and cats that just need some extra love.
About: I have experience caring for dogs, cats, reptiles, amphibians, birds, and fish. I have a degree in Wildlife Resources from WVU. I have had many animals over the years and will love your pets just the same. :) I’m currently working part-time so I will be available to fit your animals into my schedule on most days. I look forward to working with you and meeting your pets! I have three cats and one dog who are all friendly with other animals, but if your fur baby is not, I’d be happy to watch them in your home instead.

About: I’ve been a cat owner for nearly 8 years and currently care for my own cats at home. I also have experience giving medication, including caring for my little diabetic kitty, so I'm comfortable handling medication when needed! I genuinely enjoy spending time with cats and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.
About: Animals have been a constant in my life and career for over a decade. I spent 5 years working in veterinary medicine, starting as a kennel attendant in a boarding facility and working my way up to a veterinary receptionist while continuing hands-on care with boarded pets. That experience gave me a strong foundation in animal health, behavior, and daily care routines. While still in vet med, and continuing after, I ran my own pet sitting and dog walking business for nearly 6 years. I cared for pets in their homes, built long-term relationships with clients, and managed everything from daily walks to extended stays. I stepped away due to a demanding work schedule, but caring for animals has always been where my heart is. I’m experienced with special needs pets, administering medications (oral, topical, and injectable), managing behavioral challenges, and following detailed care instructions. I’m comfortable with senior pets, high-energy breeds, shy or anxious animals, and multi-pet households. Currently, I work as a 911 dispatcher for the county, which has strengthened my ability to stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly, and handle unexpected situations responsibly. Reliability, attention to detail, and safety are second nature to me. I’m excited to reconnect with what I’m most passionate about; providing dependable, knowledgeable, and compassionate care for your pets as if they were my own. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I work 3–4 night shifts a week, which gives me several full days off dedicated entirely to pet care. On my workdays, I’m intentional about scheduling visits around my shifts so pets still receive consistent, reliable attention. Because I work nights, my daytime schedule is flexible. I take short rest breaks throughout the day, very much like your pets do lol, which allows me to stay energized while still being present and attentive during visits. I’m used to structuring my time carefully, and I prioritize reliability and routine so your pets feel secure and cared for. Whether it’s early morning drop-ins, mid-day visits, evening walks, or overnight care on my off days, I build my schedule around providing consistent, dependable care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow all feeding schedules, exercise routines, medication instructions, and household preferences exactly as outlined. My goal is to maintain consistency so your pet feels secure while you’re away. I provide plenty of enrichment, affection, and supervision tailored to each animal’s personality, whether that’s high-energy playtime, structured walks, or calm companionship for more anxious or senior pets. I’m experienced with administering medications, monitoring for health or behavioral changes, and handling special needs with confidence and care. I also treat your home with respect. I keep things clean, secure, and organized, provide regular updates with photos, and communicate clearly so you always know how your pet is doing. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are my top priorities.

About: My big sister was a Dalmatian my mom had before I was even born. My first cat was at age 3. Since birth I have been around and cared for many different types of animals. They range from the dogs and cats in my family, my grandparents horses, to the various small, furry, AND scaly critters I've kept over the years. Currently have a dog, cats, fish/shrimp, a frog, a snake, and geckos! Let my love and encyclopedia of animal knowledge be used to your advantage!

About: I have experience caring for cats of different ages, personalities, and needs. I understand that every cat is different — some are social and playful, while others prefer a calm and patient approach. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, fresh water, litter box maintenance, playtime, giving lots of attention, and helping cats feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I pay close attention to behavior and routines so pets can stay happy and cared for in a familiar way.
“Rachel did a wonderful job with our dog while we were away! We would fldefinitely recommend her as she sent thorough updates and pictures. These were very reassuring to see throughout the week!”

About: I’ve been taking care of animals as long as I can remember. From taking care of my own pets to helping others out with their pets, I love providing the pet care an owner needs help with and a pet needs. Growing up, I lived across the street from my great aunt who bred and showed Great Danes. From a young age I remember sitting and watching out the front window for my aunt to come home so I could call her and ask if I could come help her with her Danes. When I was 10 years old, I started my own dog walking/pet sitting business and I have helped numerous families out with their pets while they were out on vacation or just needed help getting their pets outside for some exercise. After college, I worked at a local pet store and have gotten a lot of experience with dogs, cats, fish, guinea pigs, and birds. I also have helped care for horses over the years. I love hanging out with animals and spoiling them like I do with my own pets. I am comfortable taking care of multiple pets and fur babies of all sizes. I have a very flexible schedule. I am available for full time or part time work. I am currently a stay at home mom, so my availability is fairly free, but it varies from week to week. I am pretty flexible and willing to work with your schedule. I let my pets out multiple times a day and take them on walks. I love to take my pets out on hikes as well.

About: I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, having grown up with them my whole life, from senior dogs to playful puppies as young as 3 months old. I’m passionate about both cats and dogs and love taking them on runs or treating them to a sweet snack. Whether it's a leisurely walk or an active outing, I’m dedicated to providing fun, loving care for every pet I sit! I have classes until 3 PM most days, but I’m flexible and can adjust my schedule to accommodate pet care in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends. I’m committed to providing reliable and loving care for your pets whenever you need me! I offer pet care primarily in my client’s home, as I prefer the pets to stay in their familiar environment. I have a fenced-in backyard, but since I live on a busier street, I find it’s often better for pets to be in a quieter, more comfortable space. If your pet is friendly, I also have a dog who loves to play and is very sweet. My home is safe, but for senior dogs, there are a few stairs, which I can work around to ensure their comfort. I’m flexible and always prioritize your pet’s safety and happiness!
About: My husband and I are both full time DNP students allowing us to be at home 6 days a week. We have cared for our 3 year old corgi together, but have both had family pets previously. We are skilled in medications administration and emergency care for your fur baby! This is a child free, cat free and smoke free home. Daisy, our corgi, loves to play and make new friends. We are currently full time DNP students that allows us to be at home full time Sunday through Thursday. We are awake from the hours of 6am until 10pm. Potty breaks are able to have every 2-4 hours. Feeding schedules are based on your fur baby’s needs, however our dog eats twice a day once at 6am and again at 6pm. In our neighborhood we have a walking path that we frequently walk our dog with a leash on. Our dog loves to play with other dogs. Our home is tidy and nothing is left on the floors or within reach that could harm an animal. Our house is not located near any high traffic roads. Our back yard is positioned against an open field. Unless your dog is highly trained with good recall skills, I will not let them run free in the backyard for fear of them running away. Dogs are family in our home!

“Went to Fairmont for work and didn't want to leave my pup at daycare in DC for so long. Tracey was AMAZING!!! I may be the biggest worrier on the planet, but she put my mind at ease within an hour. Got so many pictures and videos of all the pups playing and eventually being worn out. Even learned that mine likes cats (I had a suspicion). I wish Tracey and I lived closer so we could visit more often. She would definitely be my go-to! If she's available next time we're near Morgantown/Fairmont, we'll be back. Thanks Tracey!!!”

About: I have been a pet mom for a long time. I have 3 dogs of my own but I am also able to help with snakes, hamsters, and cats. I currently work as a scribe for WVU medicine. My daughter and I are partners in our dog walking business so we will be able to meet your needs. Your pets will receive the love and care I’d give my own pets. “My boy had a fantastic time! Josie responded quickly and was very helpful. They made sure to ask the important questions to make sure that they were giving the best care possible.”

About: You can trust me to care for your pets of any kind as well as your home just as if they are my own. I am a local dad that has the great fortune of managing my business from home. This leaves me plenty of time to take care of my newest family member, Casey!! We especially love golden retrievers and labradors. And of course all others Woff .as Casey continues to train daily to be a service dog.she's our special one she loves hosting After suffering the loss of our beloved chocolate lab Marley this past June, we decide to immediately get a new pup. The silence and her amazing presence was way to tough on our family to live without. We now have Casey!! Casey is our brand-new golden retriever puppy! She is now 1 year 7 monthss old and is always looking for and delighted to meet the newest visitor that will become her new buddy. I put my time and devoted energy into my family, my work and my animals, which are my passion. Our favorite place to go is Royal Lake in Fairfax but we do daily walks in our neighborhood throughout the day as well as Burke Lake. Burke Lake is a nice place but can get overcrowded so we tend to steer toward Lake Royal, it’s a really a serene place with plenty of wildlife and good smells! I am flexible with scheduling and have no problem with last minute requests. Your dogs will have full access to my home on couches and beds if you choose. They will live as my Casey does… perhaps a bit spoiled. ;-). My aim is to have a dog friend or two over for a safe place where your pup can come and not be caged while you are gone. Casey needs the exercise but more than anything she wants friends! I am not looking to run a dog hotel, just a family environment with a loving atmosphere. Because of my job I cannot leave during the day for long periods of time so your pup will be by my side most of the time during my care. I feel that exercise is key to good behavior so I try to make sure the dogs in my care will come home tired, loved and happy! I look forward to caring for your loved ones! we specialize in loveas Casey continue her training as a service dog. She loves meeting new friends and basically it's a doggy bed and breakfast with more love and harmony.she loves hosting.

“Harley was great with my boy, Apache. The walk was a very last minute thing, but she was more than happy to accommodate to us. She even spent some time with him in the house because weather cut the walk short. She is outstanding at what she does! We will definitely be repeat customers! 😊”

About: I've had experience with puppies to powdered sugar muzzles and from <10lbs to 100+! High energy or a friend who loves a nap, I'll do by best to help your dog have a good time even when you aren't there for the fun. I'm currently a graduate student on summer break with a pretty open schedule. I may pick up a more traditional hourly job on the side, but I'm excited for the opportunity to stay busy over the summer and meet some amazing people and pets while I do it. As I have pets of my own who are a bit easily stressed, I do not offer services where your pet will be in my home. However, I have no issues coming to you! In your home, I will be calm and respectful and don't mind cleaning up any messes your pet may have made.
About: I have owned pets of all kinds my whole life, and have always helped with their care. This includes dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, horses, and chickens. I have cared for animals of all ages as well, from tiny puppies and kittens to seniors if all kinds! I have been pet sitting for family and friends since a young age and professionally took it on at the age of 20. I’m experienced with giving medicine and basic training as well. I have my partner, who has a very similar background in pet care, tag along with me just in case I need an extra set of hands but if you’d prefer just one person, I’m happy to be a team of one! I’d always prefer to do a meet and greet before taking on care tasks just to make sure me and your furry friend mesh well. I am a stay at home pet parent so my schedule is wide open. I am available more often than not, so please feel free to inquire about availability! I am a huge animal lover so any animal in my care will be treated as if they were my own! I care deeply about any and all animals and it is my priority to put your pets health and happiness first.
About: I have such a love for animals. I speak to them at all times, even when they’re passing by with their humans and I just tell the animal to have a great day. They make me so very happy, and I love to make them happy. I have 2 cats of my own and 5 niece and nephew dogs I have cared for and spoiled rotten for many years. I don’t get tired of playing, feeding, singing, or walking animals. I have just left a very emotionally draining job, caring for elderly humans and ensuring their happiness is always met. Now I’m ready to start fresh and have free time to care for your (furry) loved ones and ensure they are happy and healthy. I am comfortable caring for pets however they (and you) are comfortable with our visits. Their wants and needs is what’s important to me, and I will do my best to do what is needed.

“Tracey was very kind. She was on time. Sent me pictures and my pup was happy when we arrived. She followed all instructions as well! We will be seeing Tracy again!”
