Personalized care for your dog or cat - Woodruff

“Gretchen and Tim H were so wonderful with our dog. This was our first boarding stay for our dog. Leaving our pupper is nerve wracking and Gretchen guided us along every step of the way from the meet and greet to the pick-up. I was confident in King's stay with them. She sent us daily updates and photos which gave us comfort and ease of mind. They were very helpful and accommodating for all of our dog's needs and anything that popped up during his stay. King loved them!”

“Jayne took exceptional care of our dog, Monroe, while we stayed at an Airbnb in Eagle River that didn’t allow pets. She was only about 15 minutes away, making the drop off and pick-up very convenient. From the beginning, Jayne communicated often, asking thoughtful questions and sending updates so we always knew Monroe was doing well. She truly went above and beyond to make him feel at home. When she learned that Monroe sleeps best in our bed, she even convinced her husband to sleep in another room so Monroe could be comfortable! That level of kindness and flexibility says everything about how much she cares for the dogs she watches. Knowing Monroe was so loved and well cared for allowed us to completely enjoy our vacation. We wouldn’t hesitate to leave Monroe with Jayne again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, trustworthy, and dedicated dog sitter in the Eagle River area.”

About: I love big dogs, especially horses. I grew up taking in all the stray animals that were dumped on our road and finding homes for them. Being around any animal is my happy/safe place. I have 2 rescue horses that are like my children, I have one energetic dog, and one very loving cat, along with a bunch of chickens, one turkey, and two ducks. I want to go to school to be a large/small animal veterinarian. Caring and helping animals is my passion that I want to fulfill, I treat any animal with the loving care and kindness they deserve. I currently take care of my two rescue horses, consistently training them on a daily basis. I feed, and brush my cat on a daily, and feed, walk, and play with my dog daily. I have experience caring for my own pets and understand the importance of keeping animals safe, happy, and comfortable. I provide regular feeding, fresh water, exercise, playtime, and lots of attention. I follow all owner instructions carefully and make sure pets are supervised and cared for as if they were my own.

“Mackenzie was amazing!! I so appreciate her taking the time to not only take care of my cat, but play with him when she stopped by! She’s the best!”

“Rhonda was wonderful! I was so nervous about leaving my very shy rescue kitty, Buddha, with a sitter while I went on vacation. Rhonda took such good care of him! He was so comfortable that he eventually came out from under the bed and let her brush him. That was a first for him as he doesn't like strangers! Amazing! She sent photos daily, and I felt 100% confident that he was in the best hands with Rhonda. Buddha has a new friend and kitty sitter! I couldn't be happier and now know I can go on vacation with no worries. Thank you, Rhonda!”

“Sue took great care of our cats. She was friendly, gave lots of attention to our cats, and took care of their needs including fresh water, fresh food, litter scooping and administering oral medicine to one cat every day we were gone. I really appreciated her help!”

“Jordan did a fantastic job of dropping in on my kitty while I was away. She had great communication and promptly replied to messages. She administered meds for my kitty with no problem, and even did a couple of extra things like bring in my mail and water my plants. I highly recommend her services and look forward to booking with her again.”

“We highly recommend Mark and his services to care for your pet while you’re away. We knew right away after meeting Mark that he truly cares and is passionate about providing a warm, friendly and welcoming environment for our dog, Nellie. Knowing Nellie was in such capable hands is priceless for us and we appreciated not having to worry about her. She had several walks and playtime and we came home to a happy contented tired girl. We feel so fortunate to have found Mark and know he will be our go to when we need to leave Nellie. Thanks again Mark - you’re the best!”

About: I’ve had pets my entire life, mostly cats and dogs. I’m a new retiree looking for a way to spend my days. I can’t think of anything better than pet sitting! I recently retired and need a way to stay active! Dog walking will certainly help me do that! If you have a cat that needs to be walked, I’m all in! I will follow all of the rules of your home for your pet. I want you and your pet to feel comfortable with me in your home.

“Mark was a fantastic dogwalker! He was able to help out at short notice when I didn't have anyone to walk my dog. And he also helped speak with my parents about Zosia's training needs and offer to support and train, particularly with her leash-pulling. Zosia really liked him and he's really great with animals. Would definitely book again!”

About: Thank you for considering me to take care of your animals! I just moved up to northern Wisconsin from Austin, Texas a handful of months ago and am looking to develop new customer relationships. I have 20 + years of experience with dogs and also volunteered on and off at Austin Animal Center in the dog enrichment program. I was heavily active on Rover prior to Covid. Following that, I had a good core group of animals through repeat customers and did not offer Rover services as often. I love dogs, cats, well...most animals in general! I feel more of a connection with them than I do with most humans. I currently live with 2 small dogs and an indoor/outdoor cat. When I watch your dogs, I do so as I'd want someone else to watch mine and will definitely give them all the love and attention they deserve and have their best interests at heart. I look forward to meeting you and my future fur friends. My current schedule is very flexible, so I should be able to work with you to customize care based on you and your animals needs. I am comfortable with whatever plans and routines you have in place for your animals and would like for me to follow while I am watching them.

About: Having owned and cared for dogs and cats since I was a child, I bring years of hands-on experience to my pet sitting/walking services. I'm committed to providing attentive, personalized care that meets the needs of every pet and their owner. I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to focus on walks, playtime, meals, and giving pets the company and attention they need each day. I care for pets as if they were family, maintaining their routine, walking their usual neighborhood routes, and giving them the comfort and attention they deserve.
