“Please read! I will be there first to admit I was skeptical of using Rover. I carefully scanned through profiles of those willing to watch the two dogs we have, a Great Dane and a boxer. Cilyr was so much more than we could have asked for! She and I agreed having a meet and greet prior was a great choice to make sure the dogs would have an easier transition. Cilyr went to every length to ensure she had asked questions we may not have thought of: do the dogs have allergies? Require specific routines? But I was really blown away when she brought to my attention that she does not have a truck large enough for our Great Dane in the event he would need to get to a vet emergently however, she has already arranged with a friend and neighbor that she could borrow theirs should an emergency arise. I knew at that moment She was that absolutely perfect choice to watch our dogs. This was not just a” side gig” for her, she genuinely cares so much for animals and helping others! When I brought the boys back for their week long stay they took about a day and a half to fully adjust. I know this because Cilyr went above and beyond to make sure I knew the boys were doing well and sent pictures! It was so heartwarming to get those little messages and pictures and know our boys were in great hands. Through those pictures you could see our dogs easing into their day and feeling safe and loved. Before we had even returned from our vacation we had discussed that we will hands down take our dogs back to her any time we need to leave them. The personal touches are unmatched to anything we’ve experienced in the past and we will absolutely recommend her every chance we get! Thank you Cilyr!”

About: Though I’ve only had dogs during my childhood, my life changed when I came across my brown tabby kitty. I recently moved to a large property in the country, that is a short 35 minute drive from Madisons west side. I have a acer that is completely fenced in and I am more than happy to offer pick up and drop off to the west side of Madison. I enjoy spending my time with furry friends. I'm a in-home caregiver to my mom so I have lots of time to take care of your pet. I have weekly events on Sundays and Wednesdays, but can easily work around those times. About: My family has always had dogs. I’ve had all types of experiences with dogs. I have been pet sitting for years. I was in the 4h dog obedience project, did rally obedience, showmanship, did cgc and therapy dog training, dog agility, and I’m working at a doggie daycare and boarding facility now have been there for almost 8 years. I do work full time. But my husband works from home and agreed to help me out. So there will always be somebody at the house to watch over your pet. I have a fenced in yard for the dogs to run around in. I also have two 12 pound dogs that are very barky at first but then they are fine. About: I’ve grown up in a household that has always had at least two dogs, usually 3. We also have 3 indoor-outdoor cats. I am now a student at UW Madison, and I have a 5yr old heeler shepherd mix. Throughout her life I have trained her for obedience and herding, and have dealt with low confidence and reactivity with her daily. I am experienced with dogs who are shy and tend to be reactive. I have a part time internship at UW Madison, so I have partially and completely free days every week. That being said, I will have plenty of time to make house visits around this schedule. I have experience training dogs and love hanging out with any breed of dog. I believe dogs need both mental and physical stimulation in order to be fulfilled.

About: I love all animals! At home, I currently have a feisty tabby cat, and the sweetest Akita around❤️ Both require lots of love, time, and attention, but life wouldn’t be the same without them. Prior to starting on this app, I have gained experience, in the past, when I was employed as a dog sitter at a local daycare in Wisconsin Dells. I also have done yearly sitting jobs up to a week for various neighbors around town for foster dogs of all ages, and breeds, and cats! I currently have a part-time job. I consistently work on the weekends from 8:00am to 2pm on Saturdays, and Sundays. Occasionally I pick up extra shifts during the weekdays, but shifts are consistent to 5 hour increments.
