“I don’t even know where to begin. Jaimie is an outstanding, compassionate human being with the patience of a goddess. She took on my two 10 month old Black Labs, Duke and Eli like they were her own. She was so welcoming and kind when I got there and this was my boys first stay away from me. They loved her, her husband and their dog. I received almost hourly updates with photos and she didn’t even known but they have GPS collars on and it showed they walked with her, 22,000 steps. They were happy, well fed, loved and exhausted. When guest dogs are staying in my home I sleep with them in our spare bedroom (no kenneling at night or during the day unless you request I do so) and if I'm house sitting you can rest assured that I will leave your home and pets as good or better than I found them. I never charge extra for walks, playing fetch, taking them on a car ride, or doing an activity they enjoy. I am here because I love the idea of helping other pet-parents know their pets can be taken care of when they are busy or want to enjoy time away with loved ones. I have experience with all sorts of animals and I'm equally as comfortable with both dogs and cats... big and small. I also have experience with tricky behaviors (aggressiveness, food guarding, potty training, learning to walk on a leash, teaching commands, etc.). I can administer medicine, communicate with vet offices effectively, and I am known for providing all of the updates/pictures/videos someone would like while I'm caring for their pet! For awareness, dogs and cats are kept separate in our home. We do this for safety :) There is an underground fence for our dogs and this is an option if your dogs are collar trained. If not, no problem - I am happy to take pets out on a leash. Safety is my top priority, so I will strictly follow the instructions given for your pet(s). When it comes to inside the home, I will closely monitor all play/interactions and if needed, I will separate and/or give primarily 1 on 1 time with your pet if that is what they require. Please note: if you live more than 45 miles from my address I do charge a 1x flat fee of $50.00 while house sitting. Similarly, if you live more than 25 miles from my address I charge a 1x flat fee of $12.00 for dog walking and/or drop-in visits. Thank you for your understanding!
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 12. I’ve watched for family, family friends, and neighbours. I’ve always loved animals, and getting to work with them is like a dream! I’ve taken care of dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors. I’m also more than willing to get my hands dirty! Puppies can I have accidents, but it’s not a problem! They like to play in the mud, guess that means bath time! I also have experience giving dogs medication. My own dogs take medication daily and I’ve done it while sitting before! I’m currently working part time but I am in the market for a new job so any days and times work. My personal schedule is very flexible! If you have a fenced in yard your fur babies will be let out every two hours (supervised of course:) )No fenced in yard? No problem. They will still be taken out every two hours on a leash. I am also more than happy to bring your fur babies on walks throughout the day, just as long as the weather is suitable for them! Between playtime and snuggle time your babies will be in great hands!

I took care of my yellow lab/retriever mix, Blue, for so many years; taking her on long walks, giving her baths, making sure she got along with our neighbor dogs. After my dog died at the age of 15, my family didn't think we would get another dog. 7 years ago, we got a new puppy, his name is Brooks, and he is a yellow lab. He is very different than our old dog. He has lots of energy, he has ran away a couple times but always came back or we found him, and we lived on 2 acres of land so that helped. He is our first inside dog, so he loves cuddles, treats, sleeping, playing catch and sneaking downstairs where he is not supposed to be. I have lots of experience with dogs and I appreciate and love them very much! I am currently working at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse, so I have the summer off. During the school year, I have Fridays off and I am done by 3pm the other days. On Mondays and Wednesdays I have slower mornings. I can help out throughout the day and on weekends. I live in an apartment building but there is an area with lots of grass and next to the building and around the area. My building doesn’t allow pets so I am not able to house pets at my place, but I can always talk to my landlord.
