“We were very happy with our dog’s stay at Doreen’s. She sent pictures throughout the week with nice messages on how he was doing, and she followed his schedule closely to ensure he kept to his routine. Doreen is a very loving, knowledgeable dog person who we felt very comfortable with. Our dog seemed well taken care of when we brought him home. Will definitely book with her again!”

“Scott and Ashley took great care of our dog! They communicated well and made sure he was well taken care of with walks and play time. They clearly genuinely cared about him. We would definitely book with them again in the future.”

“They are the BEST sitters ever! Penny Bean is excited to arrive at their house (confirmation of how caring they are!). We get photos throughout our trips and they are very accommodating if you want more or less information (based on your style as a pet parent!). I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!”

“Angela and her family watched our dog for a week while we were on vacation. Angela was very courteous and great to work with. She has a big fenced in yard and two friendly dogs. She sent lots of pictures with daily updates. Our dog seemed very happy with her family and we wouldn't hesitate to book with her again. Thanks Angela!”

“This was our first time using Rover and our first time having someone that wasn’t family watch our dog. Wallen had so much fun and came home so happy ! We got frequent pictures, videos and updates so we knew he was very well taken care of!”

“Gianina was a great host to Kona! She sent pictures and updates throughout the weekend! She had a great yard for him to explore, and she took him on nice walks. We will definitely book with her again if we travel!”

“Would definitely recommend Amanda as a sitter! Easy communication, easy to book, I appreciated the couple check ins during my dog’s stay! My dog came back looking well taken care of, happy, and tired from her exercise! Will definitely be using Amanda again!”

“Sherry was so amazing in accommodating my senior pup within her home. Tedi was very comfortable and was able to enjoy all of her favorite things with Sherry from naps on the couch to car rides. I appreciated the photos and updates I received and could not have felt more comfortable being away from Tedi for an extended period of time. Definitely will be asking for a repeat stay should her schedule allow!”
“I absolutely loved my experience with the sitters! They’re so attentive, communicative, helpful in every way, I definitely will book again. I could tell with the updates that my dog was happy ( from photos I received every day) and very comfortable! It made my getaway so much easier to know he was well taken care of!”

“We felt very comfortable leaving our furry family member with Marie and her family! Marie did a great job sending pics and providing daily updates. Grace got lots of walks, treats and love! We’ll definitely be requesting Marie again.”

“Riley had such a great experience, and I truly can’t say enough good things. Communication was amazing from start to finish, and she was so flexible when our flights changed, which took a huge weight off my shoulders. She even sent pictures without us asking which we absolutely loved and really appreciated. Her kids and mother were incredibly kind and Riley also got along so well with their dog, Annalise. Riley isn’t around other dogs very often, so I was a little nervous, but they did great together and it made me so happy to hear how well she adjusted. Honestly, the whole experience felt so comfortable… like I’ve known them for a long time. That says a lot when you’re trusting someone with your dog. I would absolutely use them again without hesitation. I think Riley may have even found herself a new best friend 🐾”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and in our home, pets are truly family. I’m a mom to one little boy and also a proud dog mom to my fur babies. My family and I are all animal lovers, and we understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. We have rescued two of our family pets, one who has since passed and our current dog, Ollie. Because of Ollie, we know firsthand how important a safe and secure yard is. We live on an acre in Sussex with a fully fenced-in yard, which gives dogs plenty of space to safely run, play, sniff, and enjoy being outside. My husband and mom both work from home, so there is almost always someone here. This allows pets to have frequent potty breaks, outdoor time, attention, and company throughout the day. We love making dogs feel like part of our family while they are with us. I care for every pet the way I would want someone to care for my own, with patience, love, attention, and lots of updates. Whether your dog loves to play, relax, cuddle, or explore the yard, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved during their stay. I currently work full time but have a flexible schedule. I am available for pet sitting at a clients home. I am also available for early morning walks or after work, and even drop in visits during the day. I care for other’s pets as I would want anyone to treat my own pets. I believe our pets are part of the family and I would want anyone to treat my pet to the best of their abilities.
“I enjoy this family so much! They do an amazing job taking care of my mini golden doodle KoKo. They are very knowledgeable and nurturing. The communication while KoKo is staying with them is top tier. KoKo also enjoys her time in their home. We’re now at a point where KoKo is very happy to see them and doesn’t even look back! 🤣 I highly recommend 💕”

“Monique was wonderful!! She kept up great communication and photos. My dog has separation anxiety and it’s clear he was comfortable in her home. Will definitely have him stay with Monique the next time we are in the area. Thanks, Monique!!!”

“Absolutely would recommend! My dog is VERY anxious and had never stayed with anyone other than myself so I was a little afraid of how he would do but Cindy did an amazing job. “Allison was an amazing sitter for our four cats — Stanley, Pebbles, Murphy, and Harley. Stanley is a full-time attention hog, but Allison made sure everyone got their cuddles and pets during each visit. She also flawlessly handled Stanley’s nightly oral medication (6/6 successful doses 👏), which is no small feat. All cats are on various different prescription foods, and she fed them perfectly, kept water bowls full, and made sure dry food was always available. We loved the detailed Rover report cards and all the photos — it was clear she spent the full hour with them, just as requested. I know we are coming home to happy, well-cared-for cats and total peace of mind. She also brought all our packages into the house, which is a bonus.”

“Mackenzie was great! She did a stop in visit to feed my three cats and went above and beyond. Not only did she send plenty of photos, she also took a quick look at the litter boxes. Would go with again!”

“Once again, Meghan went above and beyond to ease our minds about the wellness of our old man and she was able to let us know there was no obvious damage from the flooding. She is communicative and sends the cutest pictures.”

About: I have had pets my entire life. At this time, I am petless, so I would love to love on your pets. Family and friends have relied on me to watch, walk, and play with their furry friends. I and my husband are retired so we have a lot of time to spend with your dog and will walk them a few times a day and play with them. They will always have someone with them. I take younger dogs for a morning, afternoon and night walk. I adjust the number of walks and distance if they are older dogs. I also play with them. They can sleep on the bed and furniture.

About: While I’m newer to cat care, I’m very patient, observant, and respectful of their boundaries. I’ve spent time around my boyfriend’s and sister’s cats and understand how to approach shy or independent kitties. I’m happy to follow your cat’s routine and comfort level.
About: We lost our sweet Blue (11 year old labradoodle) 3 years ago of bone cancer, and have recently become empty nesters. We LOVE dogs, and our cat has missed his canine companion. Our yard is over an acre, and includes a wooded area. We are also located near beautiful trails that we can walk to. Both of us work from home the majority of the time, and we will only open our home up to furry house guests if we are sure that at least one of us is available to be home the majority of the day. Your dog will love the extra love and attention that they will receive, and we tend to be a bit lenient with letting dogs on furniture/beds. Most of our neighbors own dogs, and there are young children next door. That being said, a dog that is friendly with other dogs and not wary of children would LOVE a vacation with us. I am working part time, and my husband works at least 1/2 of the time from home. We are flexible with dog schedules, and have experience with "elderly" dogs with special needs. We have a large yard (over an acre), which is not fenced in. Our neighborhood connects to walking trails and parks, so your dog will have ample exercise opportunities. We are extremely flexible with our schedules, and can adapt to meet your dog's current routines.
“Amanda was courteous, prompt and professional. She provided consistent updates and communication for each visit. She demonstrated tremendous patience with our very shy cat. I would highly recommend her and would not hesitate to book her again.”

“Perseus and Dereck were great hosts to Spider. They took him in last minute. They provided photos during his short stay. I will definitely have them watch our dogs again. They deserve 10 stars!!”
About: I've had dogs most of my life. My Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is 3 years old and loves a friend. I have an 11 year old daughter that will also provide lots of love. Your dog won't just be boarded, they'll become a part of the family. No kennels necessary, they can sleep with me! I'm a stay at home mom. I love taking my dog out for walks around my quiet, dog friendly neighborhood. I'm home almost all the time. I'd love another doggy friend to visit us! I have tie outs for the dogs when they'd like fresh air. We go on walks as needed....and we can walk more if your dog loves it like mine does!
“Will and Sarah were great with Maple on her first doggy day care visit! Felt confident to leave her for the day and they were super flexible to accommodate my last minute work meetings. Will be going back for overnight soon.”

“I was anxious to find a new daycare for my pup Dexter when I moved to the area. I’m so thankful that we found Mrs Monique, who welcomed Dexter into her home and eased all of my worries. I received updates which reassured me that Dexter was being well taken care of while I was away at work. By the second day, Dexter was so excited to be back at Mrs Monique’s house he walked right inside without a second glance. Could not recommend Monique’s doggy daycare enough.”

About: I’m a true animal lover. If it has paws, scales, fins, or whiskers, I’m already invested. I’ve cared for and fostered all kinds of pets over the years—dogs, cats, aquatic babies, reptiles, and the tiniest furry friends like bunnies and hamsters—so I’m comfortable across the board. To me, pets aren’t “just pets”…they’re family. My approach is calm, patient, and gentle. I pay close attention to each animal’s personality and respect their boundaries so they always feel safe, understood, and comfortable. At home, I’ve got my own little zoo—2 sweet cats, a bearded dragon, 2 geckos, 4 snakes, and an adorable mouse—so trust me, I’m no stranger to unique personalities and specialized care. I would love to care for your pet when you need a break, go on vacation or when you make other plans. You can be assured that your pet is in good hands. To offer the best care, my max capacity is currently 2 pets per day. 📍 Located in Milwaukee – Capitol Heights area 🌻 I work from home so I’ll always have time to play, feed and love on your pet babies. I’m always flexible with their needs (bathroom breaks, medication, shyness) to make sure they are always comfortable. If my schedule or availability changes, I always send out updates to my calendar right away. ❤️ To offer the best care, my max capacity is currently 2 pets per day. I have a fenced in back yard with plenty of space for pets to roam, play and toilet if needed. Pets are always welcome to bring their own items. My 2 lovely cats are usually shy and more of the watching type, so they won’t bother your pets but will surely admire them from their cat trees. All activities and toileting are supervised. There is no smoking of any kind in my home or pet areas. There are some pictures of our living space in the photo collection on my Rover profile.
About: I have always had dogs and they have always been treated like a family member. I do not currently have any pets so your pet will be my priority. I am retired but work part time - mostly from home- so I will be with your pet full time. I will follow any instructions you provide about caring for your pet. I have a fenced yard and a very clean environment for your pet. Your pet will get all the attention it needs and I will treat your pet like he/she were my own.
About: Hello! My family and I love animals. We've been on Rover since January 2024! We currently have 2 indor cats and have backyard chickens (in coop) that are pets and lay eggs for us. We live in a quiet Hartland neighborhood in a cul-de-sac that is very low traffic. Part of our yard is fenced for play and potty breaks, and I love taking walks around our neighborhood. The majority of the week, my husband is working from home or I am home. The longest your pet may be left is 6 hours if staying with us during the work week. So usually someone is there to spend time with your pet! We are available any day of the week for boarding. I live in a quiet cul-de-sac. I always practice sit-stay when opening the door to prevent bolting out. Part of our yard is fenced and outside the fence your pet will always be leashed. If I am away for a short period and it's needed for safety or per your preference, we do have a large crate and an enclosed pet gate.
About: Hi, my name is Lynn and my love for pets started at a young age. I find that dogs need more than love and affection. They need mental stimulation. While your dog is in my care, I assure you they will have all three. (Love, affection and mental stimulation) I have always had dogs my entire life. I currently have a 3 year old Lagotto Romagnolo named Bonita. She loves to play with other dogs big or small. I live across the street from a park so we will have plenty of play time. We will do lots of walks, play time as well and some down time. If you need help with basic obedience training, let's chat. If you have a kennel or doggy bed please bring it with you, as well as food and treats. I look forward to taking care of your dog(s)! Pet care is my life. I have a daily routine with my dog Bo. I take her to the dog park a few days a week and also let her run in the yard as well as across the street at the park. My days and hours are flexible, and someone is always home. I don't have a fenced in yard, but I will use a leash with your dog. I live on a quiet culdasac and have a park across the street for lots of play time.

“Anne is amazing with Duke every time! I know he loves going for walks with her because he is always calmer when I get home from working my long shifts at the hospital. My Duke is in good hands when Anne is available to walk him and it is such a relief to have a reliable person 😊”

“We have been working with Haani for a month so far. She's so great with Gus! My job requires attention to detail, discretion, and a high level of reliability-all qualities I bring to every job. I’m here to be a responsible and reliable pet care giver while giving your pet the love and attention they deserve—so you can have peace of mind while you're away! I have a very open and flexible schedule—perfect for giving pets the time and attention they deserve! I'm able to adjust my routine to meet each pet's needs and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I treat every animal like they’re part of the family. I follow the pet’s usual routine as closely as possible—feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication, and any special instructions you provide. I pay close attention to each pet’s comfort level and personality, whether that means giving them space to settle in or showering them with affection. In your home, I’m respectful of your space and aim to keep things tidy and calm. In my home, pets have a cozy, safe environment with plenty of love, supervision, and room to relax. Communication is key, so I always keep pet parents updated with messages and photos for peace of mind.

“Scott and Ashley took great care of our dog! They communicated well and made sure he was well taken care of with walks and play time. They clearly genuinely cared about him. We would definitely book with them again in the future.”

She sent me pictures daily and my dog looked happy and comfortable. She went above and beyond, will definitely book her again!”

“Katy and Dennis are a one in a million find! They take such great care for our high energy dogs, send daily photos, and our dogs are happy to visit them anytime! I highly recommend these two when looking for care for your pups!”
“Nikki was wonderful! My dog loved her and had the best stay! She was so kind, helpful in answering my questions as a first time Rover user, attentive, and again my dog loved her! Thanks again and we will book again whenever we need to!”

“Jennifer was very sweet and doted on Keeley. She allowed Keeley to sleep with her at night. It was just a one night stay but we were very pleased and thankful that Keeley was in good hands while we were gone.”

“Scott was very accommodating and communicative, we got several pictures and even a short video of our dog out playing in the fresh snow. Our dog has a fear of smooth floors and Scott was able to layout enough rugs and beds that Barley was comfortable. Will book again.”

“The best sitter we’ve used. Daniel meshed really well with our Black lab. He watched our dog for 12 days and had no issues. Frequent updates and open communication. Highly recommend!”

“Andrew helped watch my dog, Lucy, during a recent trip I had. He was very flexible and communicative throughout the process with drop off and pickup, and sent great photos throughout the stay to keep me comfortable regarding how Lucy was doing. Would absolutely book with him again.”
