I am a 4-H leader where I teach children how to train dogs and I help them show and prepare their animals at fair. I also show my own animals at the fair. Additionally, I have pet sat for numerous family members over the years as well as friends. I will always be there for your pet and I will make sure they are well taken care of and loved just like they are my own. I am a teacher who is currently on summer break. So my schedule is pretty open during the summer and I have a lot of availability. During the school year, most of my weekends are free as well as when we have breaks. I am flexible and willing to make things work for you! I live on a little hobby farm with my husband. I have 3 dogs and 3 cats who are very friendly. I have everything needed in my home to take care of a dog including a kennel if needed as well as tie outs. We have a lake that is 5 minutes from our house and if your dog loves to swim, I would be happy to take them. I take my dogs all over in the summer and I would make sure your pet gets a lot of attention and exercise as well. Additionally, we have a huge barn and fenced in pasture as well as rabbit hutches in the barn and a chicken coop! Whatever animal you have they can be comfortable at my property. Additionally, if you feel better about your animal staying at home, I am happy to accommodate to that as well.

“What can I say? Melissa was amazing. Needed a sitter for our Weimaraner at the last minute. Needed to leave town for family reasons. Called the usual suspects. They gave me the dog and pony show. No pun. Ridiculous what you got to go through to board your dog these days. A few of my friends and customers recommended Rover. I went on there and checked it out. In about 30 minutes from first seeing it, to signing up, I had already booked Melissa to watch our dog Kaiser. I arranged to bring him over, and she couldn't have been any more sweet. I can really tell that she loves animals. Very cool chick too. Our dog was in good hands the couple days he was there. When we got him back, he was well rested, and had none of the anxiety boarding can bring on. It's great to know I have someone that I can rely on if we leave town for any reason to watch after our pooch. I couldn't recommend her anymore. Thank you!”
“This was the first time I left my puppy in a boarding house. Erica made sure that my family and I were calm by knowing that she was taking really good care of the puppy. She sent us pictures and updates multiple times throughout the day, so we were assured that the puppy was in good hands and was feeling calm, not missing us. She also played with her a lot and gave her a great deal of attention, so the dog never felt sad or anything. I highly recommend her for anyone who needs a boarding house for their pets!”

“I was super impressed with the care our Bernese Mountain Dog Bailey was given during her stay with Bobbie. Starting with the great communication and quick responses to the photos she sent during her stay down to the treats Bobbie sent home for Bailey after her stay. I could tell Bobbie loved having our Bailey stay with her and that Bailey was happy staying with Bobbie and her family. The twice daily updates while we were gone definitely put our mind at ease and could tell she was happy and having a good time through all the photos that were sent. About: I currently have a cat that I've had for about 2 years now. He only has 3 legs and I made sure to give him the extra love he needs to be a confident and silly kitty everyday. 2 weeks after adopting him, I took him to vet at the animals shelter to get his staples removed and carefully observed his arm for the next week or so to ensure no infections occur. He's been a happy and confident cat ever since.

About: I’ve taken care of many types of different animals for as long as I can remember. Starting on my family’s hobby farm. We had many kinds of birds, rabbits, and dogs. Then when older I studied animal science and everyone I knew always brought their pets to me to take care of. I worked on a ranch in Texas for a number of years caring for cows, horses, exotic birds and buffalo. About: Our family loves animals. We have a comfortable home with a large yard. We have three caring boys that love pets. We are not quite ready to bring a dog into our home full-time because of traveling, but we love to have the company of a pet from time to time. Recently, our youngest has been showing allergy symptoms, so we are only able to watch hypo-allergenic dogs. The dog is treated like our own and spoiled during their stay with us. I work from home with my skincare business, so most of the day, I am home with the pets. We welcome potty trained dogs to our home that do well with children. We can adjust our care style to what makes you most comfortable. I also love to do drop in visits and fill the Rover cards with lots of info and pictures to keep your mind at ease. For these visits, the dogs can be any breed. I work from home and set my schedule, so being a Rover sitter is a nice little extra for me. It is easy to work with and around schedules. We have a large, unfenced backyard. We take dogs on nice walks around our neighborhood. We only board one dog at a time, so it feels like a family setting.

About: Please read the entire profile. I did grow up with a Dalmatian dog. My dad was a firefighter, and came home with Pepper Christmas morning. My sister had a mini goldendoodle. I would stop daily after work around 3:45pm to play and take walks. I took a separation package from my employer 5/1/25 and now would like to offer walks, daycare, drop in visits and boarding . With boarding, For larger dogs, they WILL be crated at night. Your dog will be crated when I play pickleball in the mornings. I do have a crate(s). Please note if sending a request there may be a delay in responding due to pickleball between 9:30 - 12:30 approximate times. I currently have two dog walking appointments from 11:45am -1:45pm Monday-Thursday. Having retired 5/1/25, I have the time to provide loving care, playtime and walks with your pet. I will provide pictures and updates to you. No fence but can play fetch in the front/backyard or take your dog to dog park if they are ok with it. Please provide details or special needs. I don’t have a fenced in yard but there is a field with plenty of room to run. I also live close to a dog park. Unless told otherwise, your dog will get plenty of exercise and attention!

About: I have worked with numerous animals since I was 5 years old. I have owned chickens, rabbits, horses, dogs, and cats my entire life. I am a 4-H leader where I teach children how to train dogs and I help them show and prepare their animals at fair. I also show my own animals at the fair. Additionally, I have pet sat for numerous family members over the years as well as friends. I will always be there for your pet and I will make sure they are well taken care of and loved just like they are my own. I am a teacher who is currently on summer break. So my schedule is pretty open during the summer and I have a lot of availability. During the school year, most of my weekends are free as well as when we have breaks. I am flexible and willing to make things work for you! I live on a little hobby farm with my husband. I have 3 dogs and 3 cats who are very friendly. I have everything needed in my home to take care of a dog including a kennel if needed as well as tie outs. We have a lake that is 5 minutes from our house and if your dog loves to swim, I would be happy to take them. I take my dogs all over in the summer and I would make sure your pet gets a lot of attention and exercise as well. Additionally, we have a huge barn and fenced in pasture as well as rabbit hutches in the barn and a chicken coop! Whatever animal you have they can be comfortable at my property. Additionally, if you feel better about your animal staying at home, I am happy to accommodate to that as well.
“What can I say? Melissa was amazing. Needed a sitter for our Weimaraner at the last minute. Needed to leave town for family reasons. Called the usual suspects. They gave me the dog and pony show. No pun. Ridiculous what you got to go through to board your dog these days. A few of my friends and customers recommended Rover. I went on there and checked it out. In about 30 minutes from first seeing it, to signing up, I had already booked Melissa to watch our dog Kaiser. I arranged to bring him over, and she couldn't have been any more sweet. I can really tell that she loves animals. Very cool chick too. Our dog was in good hands the couple days he was there. When we got him back, he was well rested, and had none of the anxiety boarding can bring on. It's great to know I have someone that I can rely on if we leave town for any reason to watch after our pooch. I couldn't recommend her anymore. Thank you!”
“This was the first time I left my puppy in a boarding house. Erica made sure that my family and I were calm by knowing that she was taking really good care of the puppy. She sent us pictures and updates multiple times throughout the day, so we were assured that the puppy was in good hands and was feeling calm, not missing us. She also played with her a lot and gave her a great deal of attention, so the dog never felt sad or anything. I highly recommend her for anyone who needs a boarding house for their pets!”
