“I recommend booking with Ty! We have rebooked Ty multiple times because he does such an amazing job of taking care of my two dogs. He is very understanding and responsible. He gives updates and sends pictures that make me well assured they are in good hands.”

“Rebekah took wonderful care of our senior dog. Gave him lots of fun and love and her home has a great set up for dogs. She was great about communication and following feeding and meds instructions. It was wonderful to enjoy our weekend knowing our Sven was in such caring, capable hands.”

“Erica and Ciara were great!! Communicated very well. Even when we were busy and not always by the phone, pictures were great to look at when we did. Even when something came up, they let us know right away and we came up with a plan. Thank you for taking care of the boys!!”

“Laura and family were terrific! They were excited about playing with our dog and getting to know him. They communicated well with regular updates and occasional questions. They are very knowledgeable about dog behavior and tuned into his needs and health.”

“Our cat Buddy stayed with Angela and her family for 4 days. Although Buddy is known for hiding away when with strangers, he was very comfortable with Angela’s family right from the start and I have pictures of him snuggling with them 🩷 I will definitely be asking Angela to pet sit for Buddy again in the future!”

“Erica K. was a wonderful choice for boarding Lydia, a terrier mix, over a long weekend. She was kind and patient, and really took the time to get to know our dog and family. She was willing to both pickup and dropoff, which made the whole process so much easier for our vacation. Erica sent frequent pictures and videos and kept us updated to our dog's situation. She was also open about how her pet sitting style was approached in her home and property. In addition, it was quite apparent that the dogs they sat would have plenty of outside exercise, love and attention, as well as freedom to be a dog. Lydia loved romping around in the snow, lying in front of their fire place, and interacting with their dogs. We also learned that our dog is pretty corteous to cats, but very interested. Their four acres of land and stream are a definite amenity to an active dog's lifestyle. Not only do I highly recommend her services, but I will also be a returning customer to both Rover and her pet care. ~DR”

“Jenny was phenomenal. She’s very flexible on times of pick up and drop off. She sent multiple pictures of Wiley having fun running around and playing. He was more energetic on pick up and even seemed as if he wished to stay longer. Both of her dogs were playful and accepted Wiley into their home with out any issues. Both Wiley and I are extremely pleased with this experience, and can’t wait until the next time Jenny can watch him again when I need to be out of town.”

“Susan was the perfect sitter for my Shiba Inu! She took good care of him, took him on multiple walks, and even baked him dog treats! Plus she’s a delightful person who’s easy to coordinate with. I can’t recommend her highly enough!!!”

“Wendy was quick to respond to my request last minuet. She was easy to get ahold of during Axels entire stay, and was such a pleasure to meet! Axel seemed to have a wonderful time, and got along great with Wendy's two dogs. I would highly recommend her to anyone!”

“Jared was very helpful and accommodating. Princess was well taken care of and had a lot of cuddles from everyone in the family. I will contact again next time I need a sitter for Princess!”

“More than exceeded expectation especially on such short notice. Our dog “Bella” had so much fun which was captured in pictures/video updates. 10/10 recommend booking with Alicia, your fur baby will appreciate it.”

“Naomi was fantastic! She watched my cat for a weekend and sent me lots of updates with photos and videos and was extremely self-sufficient. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter!”

“Came to take our dogs out when we were away at a concert. Played with them outside made sure to put our key back and open up our bedroom door so our dogs could lay on our bed. Awesome pet sitter. Would recommend him highly”

“Rosie was fantastic! She went above and beyond to care for my shy and anxiety ridden senior cat (while also easing the worries of said cat's equally anxiety ridden owner). She kept me up to date with tons of pictures, detailed descriptions of her visits, and any changes in my cat's behavior. She went out of her way to pamper my pet and put her at ease while I was away, and I could not speak more highly of her as a pet-sitter. She will definitely be my first choice when next I need someone to look after my pet.”

“Miss Jillissa is very attentive and actively works to understand my fur babies' personalities. She regularly kept in touch. Sebastian and Irene were calm and didn't even really care when I got home. She also kept good care of the house. I would gladly have her watch them again!”

About: I am a current volunteer at the local animal shelter, and have done several home visits for clients who need their kitty family members checked in on. Currently, I have one kitty of my own who is the biggest cuddle bug. I also work as a nurse, so I am more than willing to administer medications or injections. I have experience with elderly and special needs pets as well.

“She sent us photos every day and I could tell my cat loved her! She kept the house clean and followed instruction very well. Her rates are also super reasonable. I would definitely ask Eliza to watch Skyrim again!”

“Lauren was very helpful, caring, punctual and was a great communicator for her drop in visits for my cat! She literally went the extra mile and walked up my snowy icy driveway when her car couldn’t make it up! My cat is a bit standoffish with new people, but he warmed up to her after just one visit! I will definitely be requesting Lauren to help out with my cat in the future!”

“Linsie was great! Very communicative and thorough, and made sure to spend time with my two cats. As someone who was a Rover provider myself for a few years before this, I can say she ticked all the boxes!”

“Jacque was a great care taker looking after our two kitties while we were away. She was in close communication with us and kept us updated of the shenanigans our cats got into, such as knocking the feeder over every single day. Jacques responds quickly and is reliable. I would definitely recommend her to any family and friends!”

About: I have loved cats for my entire life! I have a weak spot for siamese cats especially! I had a diabetic cat as a teenager! I foster cats from time to time and I help feed the strays and keep them dewormed! I try to domesticate kittens a couple of times a year so during those times I won't be taking cats for rover but I will keep my page up to date!

About: I have 4 cats of my own. I've had 2 since 2017, 1 as a kitten since 2020, and the newest rescue I saved after he was thrown from a car. I've seen a wide gamut of cat personalities, and I am very accepting of cat boundaries. A nervous cat doesn't deserve less love.

“Angela was excellent with my dog, Vaida! Vaida struggles adjusting to new surroundings, but Angela was a pro with her. Angela provided consistent communication & I was able to stay updated throughout the week. It was great to know Vaida was in good hands.”

“Our Sweet Bella struggles with separation anxiety. We needed to find daycare for her while we were visiting family in La Crescent. Ty did an amazing job at working with her. He was flexible, patient, and did what he could to make her feel comfortable. He kept us informed with how she was doing and was prompt at responding to any messages.”

I am also a nanny in the summer which means I have can have very flexible hours ! I am also very active, walks, runs etc. I have a fenced in yard and a pool ! “This was my first time using Rover, so I was a little nervous but my overall experience was positive with AJ. We have a 1 year old mixed breed dog that is very playful and happy around pretty much everyone. We met in a park near AJ’s home and he was promptly on time and communicated well. I asked several questions about the plan for the day and everything seemed reasonable to me. For me personally I just wanted someone that would keep my dog active and happy for the afternoon, also sneak in the occasional nap is okay too. When the day was over we met in the park again and (on time) and my dog was happy to see me. Thumbs up!”

About: Growing up with a variety of animals really gave me the compassion and love I have for animals now. Also, it gave me the skill I need to be able to take care of and provide for the different species of animals there are out there. Mostly, it was dogs and cats but I do have experience in caring for hamsters and bunnies. I love to go walking/hiking just to be outside and getting fresh air so i have no problem going on walks. I’m completely comfortable with our furry friends being on my furniture, I know not everybody is but mi casa es su casa. I am a veterinarian technician with my A.A.S. degree and I plan to open up my own business one day whether it be a dog boarding place of my own or my very own shelter/rescue. Either way, this is my 5-10 year goal and his will help me achieve that. I work full time throughout the week. My evenings are available & so are most of my weekends. This month of August will be busy for me on the weekends though. I make sure they are comfortable & I treat them as if they are my own. I make sure they are happy while their person is gone.
About: At one time, we were breeders of Champion Golden Retrievers, and have raised many a pup, from small to large breeds. From Bernese to Yorkies, we love them all! Our furbabies are a Shorkie and Shih Tzu who are well behaved and make great hosts and playmates! Large pastures and trails on which to walk, so lots of exercise. Our canine guests will receive lots of love and attention! They will be welcome in our house if well-behaved, and treated like one of the family during their stay. We have excellent references from previous guests and do our best to make sure our every guest feels right at home. We follow all care guides given by our guests owners, including giving meds and treats as owner provides us. I or my husband are home with our guest dogs during stays. Our guests get lots of attention and care. We want to care for them as they are used to being cared for at home. We walk 3-4 times a day or as often as match the home life of our guests. They are cared for in our home and integrated into being cared for as part of our family with 2 little welcoming fur babies.
“This was the first time that we have left our puppies (9 months and 9 weeks). Erica and family treated them so well and sent pictures and videos. Thanks so much for taking such good care of our babies 😊”

“Laura has a lovely home, dog heaven. We could tell right away that dogs were the Priority. Cooper just loved their fenced in yard because after we picked him up, he slept for hours exactly what a mini golden doodle puppy needs for all that energy. We highly recommend Laura for pet sitting!”

“We're so thankful for Jillissa. She's always been good at responding, and she gives our dog great walks. Plus, she is really good with our parakeet. Our bird is very picky about people, and she actually flew to Jillissa's shoulder (she sent us a photo showing it!), so clearly Jillissa is a bird whisperer, too!”

About: I love animals of all kinds! I’m a nurse looking to hang out with your pets on my days off. I have experience with every care need from early puppy socialization to end of life care. I haven’t met a dog yet I didn’t immediately become besties with, from the tiniest chihuahua to the biggest pittie or Dane. I will never turn a dog down because of their breed! I’m also happy to look after any other animals you might have, from reptiles to birds to horses. Just ask and we’ll make it work! I have a rotating schedule that includes a full week off every third week. I work 5p-3a three days a week (and every third weekend). Just message and we’ll figure something out! Yours: I understand being particular about one’s home, so no reasonable request relating to my conduct there would be too much! Cleaning up after myself is a given, as is following any personal house rules. Mine: All of my animals are up to date on vaccinations and flea/tick medication, and I require the same from any animal I keep in my home. They would be kept separate from my 4 cats for the first couple of days, but with discretion and communication I would be fine with introducing them if they were interested in each other. Smoke free home.

“Janelle and Chris are just the best! They love our pup as if he was their own and he always comes home happy, healthy, and in great spirits! I love that we’ve found someone who we trust to love our pup as much as we do while we are away! THANK YOU!”
