Lacy gave her the one on one attention and socialization she needs every day to remain calm and somewhat agreeable. Lacy won Lilly's trust and even hand fed her treats. It is the first time I returned home from a trip and did not get a two hour lecture of complaints from Lilly about how she was abandoned and left to starve with no company (which was not the case - she just did NOT like her caretaker). About: I am a licensed substance abuse counselor in-training and I have taken care of animals of all kinds - dogs/puppies, cats/kittens, horses, chickens, parrots (parakeets, macaws, lovebirds), fish, rabbits, guinea pigs, etc.! About: Nestled on 6 acres of wooded land, my country home is the perfect place for a pup of any age to play, relax and explore while you're away! With a large fenced in yard, toys, activies, and walks, there is so much to do! Important note: Summer is my busy season, so during the months of June-August I will not be requiring a meet and greet as long as your dog has been boarded before and gets along well with other dogs. Boarding is my fulltime job so I am home every day to care for the animals. Pickup and drop off hours are from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Every day is a new adventure! From walks to pool time in the yard, snuggles on the couch or bed and fun holiday activies, your pup will be on their own little vacation while you're away. Safety is always my top concern. While your dogs are with me they will never be left unsupervised; in the case of having to leave for a doctor's appointment etc. they will be crated. I have a fenced in yard with locks on it, so there is no chance of a dog slipping through or opening the gate. I am also trained on signals and body language to prevent dog fights or injuries.

About: I work from home and can watch your fur-baby all day! I have 1 dog and 1 cat, both of whom are accustomed to sharing their home. My home is mostly open-concept, which means lots of space for indoor play when it's too hot, cold, or rainy to be outside. The yard is large and open. My husband and I both volunteered the the SPCA of Texas when we lived in Dallas, where we were trained as animal behaviorists focused on enrichment activities for dogs and helping rescues learn basic commands to get ready to live in a family setting. We're both passionate about balancing play with training, which means we try to spend some time each day training our dog (and yours!) with both verbal commands and hand signals. We have a dog who will be more than happy to keep your pup company, and with Adrienne working from home full time, someone is always around to ensure a safe and fun environment where everyone is getting along. There's also plenty of space to separate pets in case a little independent time is needed.
