About: I have always had pets in my home my whole life both dogs and cats I am more of a dog person but I absolutely love caring for all animals and I know how difficult it can be depending on the animal my parents most recent dog was a handful he was in and out of several homes before finding his way to ours because of he’s very energetic and sometimes violent behavior but we turned him to a sweetie with time and good training. At first he was rather aggressive towards me and was very difficult to train because of how long he had gone without training which taught me a lot of tricks to deal with a difficult and aggressive dog. I love this job and I hope your pet will enjoy my company as much as I’ll enjoy theirs. I have bathed dogs helped bathe a cat with flees and I’m down to learn anything if you’ll help show me. I took care of my yellow lab/retriever mix, Blue, for so many years; taking her on long walks, giving her baths, making sure she got along with our neighbor dogs. After my dog died at the age of 15, my family didn't think we would get another dog. 7 years ago, we got a new puppy, his name is Brooks, and he is a yellow lab. He is very different than our old dog. He has lots of energy, he has ran away a couple times but always came back or we found him, and we lived on 2 acres of land so that helped. He is our first inside dog, so he loves cuddles, treats, sleeping, playing catch and sneaking downstairs where he is not supposed to be. I have lots of experience with dogs and I appreciate and love them very much! I am currently working at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse, so I have the summer off. This summer I also work part-time at Festival. During the school year, I have Fridays off and I am done by 5:30pm the other days. On Mondays and Wednesdays I have slower mornings. I can help out throughout the day and on weekends. I live in an apartment building but there is an area with lots of grass and next to the building and around the area. My building doesn’t allow pets so I am not able to house pets at my place, but I can always talk to my landlord.

I have experience working with dogs and pets of all ages and personalities, and I treat every animal like they’re my own. Whether your pet needs exercise, structure, or just plenty of attention, I make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I offer several services to fit your needs. I can walk dogs to make sure they get the exercise and fresh air they need each day. I can also train dogs, helping with basic commands, good behavior, and reinforcing positive habits. If you need a place for your dog or pet to stay while you’re away, I also provide boarding, giving your pet a comfortable and supervised environment instead of a stressful kennel. My goal is to make things easy for both you and your dog. You can relax knowing your pet is in good hands, getting plenty of care, activity, and attention while you keep peace of mind. Im a a dependable and passionate pet sitter, I have over 10 years of experience making me a great choice for your pet. I understand that every animal has its own personality, needs, and routine. I have vet tec experience, along with comfort in medications, shots, insulin, glands, and teeth/grooming. I am an experienced midwife, and have fostered many furry and wild younglings. I have experience working with dogs of all ages, energy levels, and personalities, including puppies, high-energy breeds, and dogs that benefit from extra patience or routine. I’m CPR certified, experienced with enrichment-based care, and comfortable reinforcing basic training skills such as leash manners, recall, sit/down, place, and calm behavior during visits and walks. I also have experience with hunting and working breeds, so I understand the importance of both physical exercise and mental stimulation. What sets me apart most is that I genuinely enjoy building trust and relationships with the dogs I care for. I prioritize safety, consistency, and making sure each dog feels comfortable, engaged, and well cared for while you’re away. I also provide reliable communication and updates so owners can feel confident their pets are in good hands. I intentionally keep openings in my schedule for walks, drop-in visits, boarding, and individualized care. I currently have availability most mornings, a few evenings, and select weekends which allows me to provide consistent attention and flexible scheduling for clients. I adjust my care style based on the individual dog rather than taking a “one size fits all” approach.
