“Trip had such a great vacation with Cilyr! My husband and I were concerned Trip would not going to want to come home with us! Every day they had an adventure- hiking, hunting treats in a back yard, and going for pup cups! He had walks with another Cairn Terrier that Cilyr takes care of. He was happy to see us but I know he'd love to back as soon as possible! Cilyr did a great job introducing Trip to her pup and is so knowledgeable about dog behavior. She sent us daily pictures and updates on Trip and his adventures. I highly recommend Cilyr to care for your pup. It was great to know he was in such great care!”

I recently moved to a large property in the country, that is a short 35 minute drive from Madisons west side. About: Hello pet parents! This is Avery and you are probably here to find someone who will take care of your pet(s) just like you would. I am your person! I have grown up with dogs my entire life ranging from miniature dachshunds to saint bernards! I have experience from watching family and friends pets to taking special care of my two puppers. I have also volunteered a great deal of time at my former city’s local humane society walking and playing with all different breeds of dogs. Julie was clear that her dog Zilla's comfort with Ollie was a priority, which I fully support. I won't want to trust my dog to someone who isn't looking out for ALL the dogs involved. Julie was very responsive with messages, showed us around her home and yard and was generally very calm and patient. About: I’ve grown up in a household that has always had at least two dogs, usually 3. We also have 3 indoor-outdoor cats. I am now a student at UW Madison, and I have a 5yr old heeler shepherd mix. About: My pet-sitting experiences include looking after both cats and dogs day to day and for extended periods of time. When taking care of cats, I make sure they have clean water and food at all times; keep their environment clean; watch over them and see if they are healthy; and interact with them by playing with them on a daily basis. I also have experience caring for dogs of various sizes and energy levels. Making sure their fed, walked, groomed, and cleaning up any messes/ their environment. In addition always making sure they have access to clean drinking water and providing plenty of playtime and attention. I occasionally take care of a family friend’s dog who has arthritis. I help keep her comfortable through gentle massages, giving her medication as directed, and hand-feeding her when necessary. In doing so, I learned to be patient and attentive in caring for an animal's individual needs. What sets me apart is my genuine love for animals. I always go the extra mile into taking good care of animals, ensuring their safety, and comfort in the absence of their owners. I treat every pet as if they were my own and doing everything I can to ensure their happiness. I am extremely flexible with regards to my schedule, and can be available for the most part of the day. I wake up early, so feeding and taking the animals for walk won't be a problem at all. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I value their safety, trust, and maintaining a calm and familiar environment for their pet. It is important for me to carefully follow all the instructions concerning their feeding schedule, treatment, taking medication, and other specific care. It goes without saying that I make sure that the pets receive proper meals and have clean water to drink. I also try to keep the house as clean as possible, including litter boxes for cats and any messes that may occur. I also observe the pets to ensure everything seems normal and they’re healthy. I believe that building trust with both pets and owners is essential, I’ll always provide them with updates and photographs about the current condition of the pets. My goal is to make sure their pet is cared for and mostly importantly happy.

“Trip had such a great vacation with Cilyr! My husband and I were concerned Trip would not going to want to come home with us! Every day they had an adventure- hiking, hunting treats in a back yard, and going for pup cups! He had walks with another Cairn Terrier that Cilyr takes care of. He was happy to see us but I know he'd love to back as soon as possible! Cilyr did a great job introducing Trip to her pup and is so knowledgeable about dog behavior. She sent us daily pictures and updates on Trip and his adventures. I highly recommend Cilyr to care for your pup. It was great to know he was in such great care!”
