“Please read! I will be there first to admit I was skeptical of using Rover. I carefully scanned through profiles of those willing to watch the two dogs we have, a Great Dane and a boxer. Cilyr was so much more than we could have asked for! She and I agreed having a meet and greet prior was a great choice to make sure the dogs would have an easier transition. Cilyr went to every length to ensure she had asked questions we may not have thought of: do the dogs have allergies? Require specific routines? But I was really blown away when she brought to my attention that she does not have a truck large enough for our Great Dane in the event he would need to get to a vet emergently however, she has already arranged with a friend and neighbor that she could borrow theirs should an emergency arise. I knew at that moment She was that absolutely perfect choice to watch our dogs. This was not just a” side gig” for her, she genuinely cares so much for animals and helping others! When I brought the boys back for their week long stay they took about a day and a half to fully adjust. I know this because Cilyr went above and beyond to make sure I knew the boys were doing well and sent pictures! It was so heartwarming to get those little messages and pictures and know our boys were in great hands. Through those pictures you could see our dogs easing into their day and feeling safe and loved. Before we had even returned from our vacation we had discussed that we will hands down take our dogs back to her any time we need to leave them. The personal touches are unmatched to anything we’ve experienced in the past and we will absolutely recommend her every chance we get! Thank you Cilyr!”

I recently moved to a large property in the country, that is a short 35 minute drive from Madisons west side. I have a acer that is completely fenced in and I am more than happy to offer pick up and drop off to the west side of Madison. About: I live with my husband on 5 acres of land. A large back yard portion is fully fenced and has Dog doors for easy access and play. Our home was built with dogs safety and fun in mind! I have had dogs of all sizes my whole life and they are family! I currently have 2 smaller dogs. A Chihuahua mixes and a dachshund. About: I am a previous dog owner and current cat mom. I grew up watching dog and cat training shows on TV and going to in person purebred dog and cat show events. “We are looking to find someone to board Ollie with for weekends. To start him out slow (he has separation anxiety), we had a Meet and Greet, a short (3hr) stay and later, a full day stay. Julie was clear that her dog Zilla's comfort with Ollie was a priority, which I fully support. I won't want to trust my dog to someone who isn't looking out for ALL the dogs involved. Julie was very responsive with messages, showed us around her home and yard and was generally very calm and patient. While the dogs didn't end up getting along well enough for this to work out long term, Ollie warmed up to Julie and was definitely as calm as I've seen him after being left.”

About: My Lab pups were immediately potty trained at 8 weeks by my carrying them outside upon awakening. All are kind and gentle loving animals that wear smiles on their faces. Very happy. I am retired and flexible. I live at The House on the Rock and love the outdoors, walking the trails and golf. I am also an early riser. About: I’ve grown up in a household that has always had at least two dogs, usually 3. We also have 3 indoor-outdoor cats. I am now a student at UW Madison, and I have a 5yr old heeler shepherd mix. Throughout her life I have trained her for obedience and herding, and have dealt with low confidence and reactivity with her daily. I am experienced with dogs who are shy and tend to be reactive. I’ve boarded/raised over 100 dogs and I’ve never had any issues with dogs getting loose or scuffling. Sitting in your home: I can do the basics such as feeding and potty. I can take your dog for walks or play in your yard and spend some time with them in your home.

About: I have been taking care of animals ever since I was little, between dogs, cats, reptiles, and even farm animals such as dairy cows, pigs, goats, chickens, rabbits, and guinea pigs. I can take care of pets at any time of day or night, and I can walk dogs after 4 pm. Tuesday & Thursday, I do have class from 7-10 am. About: I’ve cared for my dog for 10+ years, have experience dog sitting and overnight stays, and love staying active by giving dogs plenty of walks, exercise, and attention. Pet care fits well into my routine because I only work nights, leaving me available during the day for walks, check-ins, playtime, feeding, and overnight pet sitting. I care for pets by following their normal routine to help them feel comfortable and safe. In clients’ homes, I provide feeding, walks, playtime, overnight care, and lots of attention while keeping the home clean and respectful. “Please read! I will be there first to admit I was skeptical of using Rover. I carefully scanned through profiles of those willing to watch the two dogs we have, a Great Dane and a boxer. Cilyr was so much more than we could have asked for! She and I agreed having a meet and greet prior was a great choice to make sure the dogs would have an easier transition. Cilyr went to every length to ensure she had asked questions we may not have thought of: do the dogs have allergies? Require specific routines? But I was really blown away when she brought to my attention that she does not have a truck large enough for our Great Dane in the event he would need to get to a vet emergently however, she has already arranged with a friend and neighbor that she could borrow theirs should an emergency arise. I knew at that moment She was that absolutely perfect choice to watch our dogs. This was not just a” side gig” for her, she genuinely cares so much for animals and helping others! When I brought the boys back for their week long stay they took about a day and a half to fully adjust. I know this because Cilyr went above and beyond to make sure I knew the boys were doing well and sent pictures! It was so heartwarming to get those little messages and pictures and know our boys were in great hands. Through those pictures you could see our dogs easing into their day and feeling safe and loved. Before we had even returned from our vacation we had discussed that we will hands down take our dogs back to her any time we need to leave them. The personal touches are unmatched to anything we’ve experienced in the past and we will absolutely recommend her every chance we get! Thank you Cilyr!”

About: I have owned pets a good portion of my life. Dogs, cats, fish, birds. I currently own a beautiful and sweet Siberian husky. I hired a pet boarder for her and loved rover for pet care options. I work from home m-f. Weekends off. My weekly schedule is flexible. I also have a teenage son who is around to help if need be I have a flexible schedule and can be accommodating to most schedules. I’m most interested in boarding and day care. I crate my dog at night and get her outside multiple times a day. We usually get to a dog park 4-5 times a week
