About: I have a background in both education and dog training, so I focus heavily on structure, communication, and understanding each dog’s individual needs. I have experience working with dogs of all ages, energy levels, and personalities, including puppies, high-energy breeds, and dogs that benefit from extra patience or routine. I’m CPR certified, experienced with enrichment-based care, and comfortable reinforcing basic training skills such as leash manners, recall, sit/down, place, and calm behavior during visits and walks. I also have experience with hunting and working breeds, so I understand the importance of both physical exercise and mental stimulation. I adjust my care style based on the individual dog rather than taking a “one size fits all” approach. “I don’t even know where to begin. Jaimie is an outstanding, compassionate human being with the patience of a goddess. She took on my two 10 month old Black Labs, Duke and Eli like they were her own. She was so welcoming and kind when I got there and this was my boys first stay away from me. They loved her, her husband and their dog. I received almost hourly updates with photos and she didn’t even known but they have GPS collars on and it showed they walked with her, 22,000 steps. They were happy, well fed, loved and exhausted. About: What sets me apart? When your pet is in my care (at my home or your own), I make them my priority from start to finish and treat them like my own. When guest dogs are staying in my home I sleep with them in our spare bedroom (no kenneling at night or during the day unless you request I do so) and if I'm house sitting you can rest assured that I will leave your home and pets as good or better than I found them. I never charge extra for walks, playing fetch, taking them on a car ride, or doing an activity they enjoy. I want your pet to feel like they're on vacation, too :) When I'm house sitting for a client I aim to be there the entire time, and since I work remotely (as long as you have quality wi-fi) I am able to work from your home - this means your pet gets even more time and attention, and if I do have to leave it will only be for a very short period and I will communicate this to you prior. If you do not need/want me there 24/7 we can discuss and adjust price based on what we agree upon during our meet and greet. I aim to be as flexible as possible to meet both your need and your budget... I know this is an investment! I am here because I love the idea of helping other pet-parents know their pets can be taken care of when they are busy or want to enjoy time away with loved ones. I am also here because anyone who knows me knows how much I love animals :) both my own and any animal I meet. I have experience with all sorts of animals and I'm equally as comfortable with both dogs and cats... big and small. I also have experience with tricky behaviors (aggressiveness, food guarding, potty training, learning to walk on a leash, teaching commands, etc.). I can administer medicine, communicate with vet offices effectively, and I am known for providing all of the updates/pictures/videos someone would like while I'm caring for their pet! For awareness, dogs and cats are kept separate in our home. We do this for safety :) There is an underground fence for our dogs and this is an option if your dogs are collar trained. If not, no problem - I am happy to take pets out on a leash. Safety is my top priority, so I will strictly follow the instructions given for your pet(s). When it comes to inside the home, I will closely monitor all play/interactions and if needed, I will separate and/or give primarily 1 on 1 time with your pet if that is what they require. Please note: if you live more than 45 miles from my address I do charge a 1x flat fee of $50.00 while house sitting. Similarly, if you live more than 25 miles from my address I charge a 1x flat fee of $12.00 for dog walking and/or drop-in visits. Thank you for your understanding!
About: I am flexible, loving, and communicative. I’m punctual with schedules, feedings, walking, etc. and I will assure your fur babies have the time of their lives with me! I am often available morning and night, and have no problem commuting to offer help. My ample free time allows me to stop in and check up on your pets multiple times per day if necessary. I love to provide photo updates and texts to pet parents. Although I don't offer in-home care, I foster a loving environment in any client's home and with any pet I take care of. My love for animals is tangible!
