About: I have owned and loved dogs my entire life. I have cared for and taken care of dogs through all stages of their lives. I currently have a senior Australian Shepherd and a 4 year old Puggle. I currently work from home full time and am able to provide consistent potty breaks, attention, love, and care during the work week. On weekends, my schedule is open to provide even more time, love, and attention to your fur baby. I have a large backyard (not fenced in, but your dog would be supervised at all times on leashes). About: I volunteer at a dog shelter that deals with all ages and comfortably around new people. This allows me to pick up on dogs needs and adjust accordingly. I am currently working full time 4 days a week. This allows me a more flexible schedule to help take care of dogs through the week and weekends. I have experience with dogs that bolt when doors are opened outside and know how to block them properly. When helping with potting breaks they can be play breaks to get rid of excess energy. About: I haven't been without a dog since age nine, when my parents gave us our first opportunity to develop a bond with a pet, Abby, our beloved English setter. She died the year I graduated from college, and since then I have had two of my own dogs: Gretta, a chocolate lab whom I owned from age 6 weeks until her death at age 13, and Lillie, a springer spaniel who was basically a life-long puppy exploding with energy and a fervor for running, jumping, and all things adventure-related. Sadly, Lillie died in June (at age 13), and we miss her so much. My husband and I like to travel, so I am not quite ready to adopt another dog yet, but in the meantime, I would love to pet-sit for other dogs so as to be around furry friends who bring so much joy to my life. I'm a teacher, so I'm mainly interested in walking and caring for pets on the weekends and during the summer months, but I can be available other times as well depending on my schedule. My job is to provide love, attention, and a safe and enriching learning environment to any pet in my care. I accommodate as needed depending on the needs of the individual animal.
