“What can I say? Melissa was amazing. Needed a sitter for our Weimaraner at the last minute. Needed to leave town for family reasons. Called the usual suspects. They gave me the dog and pony show. No pun. Ridiculous what you got to go through to board your dog these days. A few of my friends and customers recommended Rover. I went on there and checked it out. In about 30 minutes from first seeing it, to signing up, I had already booked Melissa to watch our dog Kaiser. I arranged to bring him over, and she couldn't have been any more sweet. I can really tell that she loves animals. Very cool chick too. Our dog was in good hands the couple days he was there. When we got him back, he was well rested, and had none of the anxiety boarding can bring on. Not only did she take him in as one of her own, she helped safely build his confidence and helped him socialize with her gentle and well mannered dogs and cat of her own. About: Since I was a little girl I have cared for cats and dogs. Currently, our fur babies consist of an 8 year old rescue chihuahua mix, Nala, who is my princess. A 3 year old cocker spaniel, Soda, who is my 7 year olds best friend. And finally our lovable orange tabby, Big Buddy, named by 3 year old. My father also relies on me to help with his German shepherd to let her out, play fetch, or pick her up from doggie day care. I currently work part time. Mondays and Tuesdays I work long hours but I am available the rest of the week to assist with your fur family needs. Our home offers a large back yard pushed up to a farm field. We also have quick access to Anhapee trail where we daily walk our dogs.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and other pets for a couple of years. I have dog sat for many different kinds of dogs and have also taken care of cats before. I enjoy dog walking as well. I have two dogs at home and love playing with them and getting their energy out. I currently am in school full time and have a part time job, but am looking to be able to care for pets or provide other services in my free time. About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, horses, goats, cows etc since I was little. I worked at the Crivitz Countryside Veterinary Clinic for 5 years right out of high school. I want to help others with their pets needs just as I would want the help in return. I live in Shawano, but work in Howard/Green Bay Mon-Friday. I’m able to take care of pet needs in either location, anywhere in between, or slightly past those points! 😊❤️ On weekends I have more availability to do multiple drop in visits and more frequent dog walks. Daycare/Boarding is convenient for nonstop snuggles, chit chats, fetch, walks, treats, and a watchful eye on your fur babies. 10 acres with a pond/river wooded backyard. I have one dog who is high energy, but independent enough to do her own thing. She loves to play fetch, walk the trails in the woods, and car rides. I will always introduce my dog to yours through a baby gate, once they get smells/intro’s over with I like to have them meet outside for a potty break, this method takes the protective instincts away. Guards come down. A little trick I learned from working at the Vet Clinic that hasn’t let me down yet. I can keep them separate from one another also if you wish/request. Though my dog is a fixed/spayed female. I have a split level 4 bedroom house that allows a lot of space in the two living room areas in case your pet prefers their own space to eat/protective. I live 8 min from the Shawano dog park and less than 5 min from the dog beach.

About: I love taking care of all different kinds of pets, I love working with pets that have unique personalities. There is still so many breeds of both dogs and cats that I would love to be able to take care of. I am currently working part-time at a pet boarding/ daycare facility and still going to school. I still seem to have time that I feel as if I am wasting and need something to fill that void. In my clients home I will try to stick to the instructions that they give me when I am caring for their pet. I will also do anything extra depending on the pet and the different needs that they may have. (Ex. If they are a senior pet or a puppy)

“What can I say? Melissa was amazing. Needed a sitter for our Weimaraner at the last minute. Needed to leave town for family reasons. Called the usual suspects. They gave me the dog and pony show. No pun. Ridiculous what you got to go through to board your dog these days. A few of my friends and customers recommended Rover. I went on there and checked it out. In about 30 minutes from first seeing it, to signing up, I had already booked Melissa to watch our dog Kaiser. I arranged to bring him over, and she couldn't have been any more sweet. I can really tell that she loves animals. Very cool chick too. Our dog was in good hands the couple days he was there. When we got him back, he was well rested, and had none of the anxiety boarding can bring on. It's great to know I have someone that I can rely on if we leave town for any reason to watch after our pooch. I couldn't recommend her anymore. Thank you!”

“I can’t say enough wonderful things about Laura! We had a last minute care cancellation and needed a sitter for our 4 month old puppy. Not only did she take him in as one of her own, she helped safely build his confidence and helped him socialize with her gentle and well mannered dogs and cat of her own. I got multiple updates throughout the weekend, lots of pictures and best part is we were able to enjoy our best friend’s wedding because our worries were truly at ease knowing he was being taken care of by Laura. Will absolutely be looking to Laura first for any puppy care needs moving forward and I HIGHLY recommend having your fur baby stay with her ❤️”

“I would definitely recommend Todd as a sitter! He took my dog for walks and she enjoyed playing in their fenced yard. My dog had an operation recently and was still on antibiotics every 12 hours. Todd made sure she got her medicine on time and texted me after each dose to let me know she got it. He also sent pictures and kept me updated with how she was settling in. Very happy with her stay with Todd and his family.”
