About: While living in Seattle I worked for Rover doing dog boarding in my own home, at times with up to five dogs at a time. About: I grew up with many outdoor cats on my family’s farm. Also, I’ve taken care of many cats belonging to friends and family in the past. Currently, I have one kitty of my own who is the biggest cuddle bug. I work as a nurse, so I am more than willing to administer medications or injections. About: At one time, we were breeders of Champion Golden Retrievers, and have raised many a pup, from small to large breeds. From Bernese to Yorkies, we love them all! Our furbabies are a Shorkie and Shih Tzu who are well behaved and make great hosts and playmates! Large pastures and trails on which to walk, so lots of exercise. Our canine guests will receive lots of love and attention! They will be welcome in our house if well-behaved, and treated like one of the family during their stay. We have excellent references from previous guests and do our best to make sure our every guest feels right at home. We follow all care guides given by our guests owners, including giving meds and treats as owner provides us. I or my husband are home with our guest dogs during stays. Our guests get lots of attention and care. We want to care for them as they are used to being cared for at home. We walk 3-4 times a day or as often as match the home life of our guests. They are cared for in our home and integrated into being cared for as part of our family with 2 little welcoming fur babies.

“This was my first time using Rover, so I was a little nervous but my overall experience was positive with AJ. We have a 1 year old mixed breed dog that is very playful and happy around pretty much everyone. We met in a park near AJ’s home and he was promptly on time and communicated well. I asked several questions about the plan for the day and everything seemed reasonable to me. For me personally I just wanted someone that would keep my dog active and happy for the afternoon, also sneak in the occasional nap is okay too. When the day was over we met in the park again and (on time) and my dog was happy to see me. Thumbs up!”
About: Hi Hi! I'm a former vet tech with 20 plus years of experience training and caring for pets! Day outings, overnights or drop-ins are all in my skill set! I'm an active and aware professional photographer and personal trainer and I enjoy getting dogs out on the trails, socializing, training- you name it! I mainly live in Jackson Hole, WYoming but I own my own home here in Winona. I am here some parts of the year and I would love to open up my schedule to dog care! I am very flexible during the day. I'm a photographer and most of my shoots are in the afternoons or early evening. I can do outings in the morning and afternoon to satisfy all of the physical demands of the doggos! I hit the trails almost every day so I can take them with me for a run/walk :) I also have access to 40 acres of wooded hills that I can take the pups too! The safety of your pet is #1! I am a former vet tech and have a great knowledge of dog care and health. I can administer medications- no problem! If am coming to let your pet out of your house, I can walk in the neighborhood or have a play session in the yard. If your pet is at my home, I have a big, fully fenced yard and I live right across from East Lake Winona, the dog friendly lake :) I am very aware of every situation I take your dog into and can address needs or concerns ASAP. About: Growing up with a variety of animals really gave me the compassion and love I have for animals now. Also, it gave me the skill I need to be able to take care of and provide for the different species of animals there are out there. Mostly, it was dogs and cats but I do have experience in caring for hamsters and bunnies. I love to go walking/hiking just to be outside and getting fresh air so i have no problem going on walks. I’m completely comfortable with our furry friends being on my furniture, I know not everybody is but mi casa es su casa. I am a veterinarian technician with my A.A.S. degree and I plan to open up my own business one day whether it be a dog boarding place of my own or my very own shelter/rescue. Either way, this is my 5-10 year goal and his will help me achieve that. I work full time throughout the week. My evenings are available & so are most of my weekends. About: I have always had pets in my home my whole life both dogs and cats I am more of a dog person but I absolutely love caring for all animals and I know how difficult it can be depending on the animal my parents most recent dog was a handful he was in and out of several homes before finding his way to ours because of he’s very energetic and sometimes violent behavior but we turned him to a sweetie with time and good training. At first he was rather aggressive towards me and was very difficult to train because of how long he had gone without training which taught me a lot of tricks to deal with a difficult and aggressive dog. I love this job and I hope your pet will enjoy my company as much as I’ll enjoy theirs. I have bathed dogs helped bathe a cat with flees and I’m down to learn anything if you’ll help show me. About: Grew up on a farm with lots of cats and dogs. I have a 15-year-old border collie mix that can no longer go for long walks. Hoping for the opportunity to take some other pups on walks too! I work as a nurse, so I am more than willing to administer medications and injections. Being that I have an elderly dog myself, I am no stranger to senior care or special needs. I currently work as a nurse full-time, but I am available most days to help with taking your dog out or checking in on your kitty. I am available most weekends as well. I cannot offer pet boarding, but I am willing to check in on your furry family members! I am always willing to lend a hand when life gets busy. Currently I own cattle dogs- an Aussie named Marley and Heeler/Collie mix named Sadie. They are 4, I trained them myself & they are extremely well behaved and socialized. I offer boarding, day care, dog walking, and can bathe your pup before returning them home to you. I can also pick up and drop off when needed. I can also house sit and pup sit if that is your need/comfortability as well. I am up for & encourage meet & greets before bookings if you would like to meet myself, the pups and/or see the house and our setup before hand! I work during the normal school year as a nursing instructor. I am off during the summer and am home FULL TIME to dedicate ALL of my time & attention to the fur babies! I promise your baby will be tuckered out, loved on and well fed (to your instructions of course!) Boarding at my home: safety is my top priority with animal to animal interaction and human to animal interaction. If pups need more alone time/privacy, they can be housed separately from my dogs at all times as we have multiple access points from our home to our fenced in yard and gate sectioning in our house. I do walks daily with them and am outside with them as well for the majority of the day. Our fenced in yard has a dog pool and I have BUCKETS of toys for them to play with! If your pup leans toward the spicier side & is more protective when it comes to their toys, food, or water please let me know and separation accommodations can be made, no problem. All breeds are different and each pup is different. I can also give medications topically, orally, injections etc. I can provide hourly updates through text, video call, phone calls, whatever you would like! At minimum I send a daily update. In your home: as a nurse, safety is always my top priority. I am also extremely clean and organized. I can maintain your daily routine with your pup so they don’t miss much while you are away. Again, meet and greets I encourage so you and especially your pup are comfortable meeting me and being in your home. I’ll be their make-shift auntie while you are away! Whatever update/care you want them to have, you got it- even FaceTime dates so you don’t have to miss them much.
