About: When my mom wouldn’t let me have a cat as a kid, I knew I still had to be around them somehow. I spent my childhood catching and petting feral cats at my grandmother’s house. I found a cat shelter where I dedicated hours of each week volunteering to rehabilitate feral cats and kittens, including attending fundraisers thrown by the shelter to raise awareness and money to care for the cats. I have now fostered 13 kittens and had two cats of my own. I currently live with four cats and a dog and I’m often visited by the neighborhood kitties as well as the mousers that live at my horse riding barn.
