They welcomed my high energy puppy girl into their home, and she clearly had fun playing with their dog and kids for many days while I was in the hospital. I get the sense that they want their kids to experience different pets for the learning experience, which is very cool I think. They seem to enjoy the experience overall, which made it so comfortable for me. Thanks so much!”

About: I've cared for my own cats since I was little. I've been in the veterinary field for nearly 4 years and understand cats and their unique needs. I can also administer medications if needed. I am currently not equipped to care for cats in my own home and can offer home visits. I highly recommend this route regardless due to a cats stress level with change.

“Emily was amazing! So friendly and our cats all LOVED her, which is crazy because normally they aren’t all keen on new people. She was prompt and updated us immediately with several pictures and how they were doing. Thanks, Emily!”

About: I grew up surrounded by pets; my family had 2 small dogs and several cats, my grandparents all had medium dogs, my best friend's all had various sized dogs and cats. Once I moved out during college, I began researching husbandry for lizards and small pets (specifically hamsters, ferrets, and small birds) and eventually got a few cats of my own. During my college years, I worked at a pet store and helped families find the right pet for their household and make sure they had the information needed to best care for their pet. Today, I am the parent of 2 cats, 3 ferrets, and several reptiles. When I first moved to Marshfield, I also volunteered at a location cat rescue and helped care for the cat room and socialize cats waiting for the forever homes. For several years, I helped care for our family's senior cat before she passed away at 21 years old. With my two current cats, Tasha and Bingus, I have experience monitoring two different diets as Bingus loves to eat both his meal and Tasha's meal. From brushing to baths, I have experience with long haired cats, short haired cats, and even hairless cats! I am a lover of all animals, big and small. I love getting to know different pets and all their quirks and I hope your pet will love getting to know me!

About: I love walking and playing with your dog. I will give your four legged family members love and attention while you are away! I have been dog walking and sitting for 10+ years and love seeing the happy smiles and wagging tails when I come to see them. I also have experience with giving medication and baths. I enjoy playing and getting the dogs moving to make sure they work off some of their energy. I also enjoy just sitting with them and giving them some cuddles and let them snuggle up with me for some loving head scratches. Whether its just a walk during the day or an extended stay while you are away, I will make sure your dogs will have fun and be loved.
About: I have been working with animals since I was young. I currently have 7 dogs. I groom and work with many breeds. I am trusted with dogs and cats everyday for grooming now I would love to add in walking and pet sitting. I currently work part time which leaves me the flexibility in the afternoon and evenings to walk and care for other pets. I am also available for pet sitting on most weekends and after 2 pm the week days! I have dog friendly pups that come with me to keep other pups entertained while in your home. They can be kenneled as well if needed.
About: Your pets needs and comfort are top priority! I am a huge animal lover and have owned animals of all different breeds my entire life. I currently own 2 bearded dragons, rabbit, Chinchilla, 3 cats, a husky and fish. I grew up helping out on my grandpa's beef farm and then milking cows at my neighbors. I have also done pet sitting for friends and family. I have worked at a petstore and helped out at a Vet clinic. I am always asked by friends and family to watch their animals, which I love. When sitting for someone else I treat their animals just like my own and give them tons of love and attention, I also enjoy taking pics or videos to share with the owners and keep them up to date on what is going on.
About: I started my dog watching journey when I was about 16. I used to watch a friend's dogs whenever she was away. Even when she was at work when her older dog was ill. I have a kinship with dogs like no other. It's only in the last 5 years that I've developed that with cats as well. I have a flexible work schedule that can accommodate any needs you have. I will update my calendar as to my availability at least every 2 weeks. I can accommodate 1 or 2 dogs only on the weekends. But, in your home I will respect everything. I won't mess anything up and if I do I'll return it better than I left it.
“Becky did an incredible job for our cat Suna. It was our first time leaving him alone for a weekend, but Becky made us feel at ease by going above and beyond and letting us know about the slightest changes in mood or behavior. She also spent a lot of time cuddling and playing with Suna and even washed his food containers. We could not be more happy. Becky, thank you so much and please come again!”

About: I've grown up with every kind of pet imaginable, and post-college I have owned my 2 dogs (Bella & Wes), cat (Binx), and house trained rabbit (Norbert). My animals are considered geriatric, so I am well versed in caring for pets with medication needs and requiring some extra love, patience, and attention. I regularly care for the pets of family and friends when they go out of town; including feeding, med administration, bathing & brushing, walking & exercise. I am a healthcare professional with a flexible schedule, so have a wide range of availability. I can stop by to care for your pet as you and your pet require. For housesitting, I am available all day, overnight, and/or for drop-ins. If the midday hours you want a pet walk or drop-ins don't show as available just message me and I might be able to accommodate. I am super flexible and would work with you to discuss a care plan specific to your pet's needs and your requirements. You just let me know how I can help!
About: I’ve mainly taken care of friends and family pets since i was around 15(28 now). I am capable of feeding, bathing, short walks, supervision while outside and in. I can make time as needed. I work part time as a caregiver and am a full time student online. Because i only work part time I have quite a bit of free time during the week I do not offer out of home care as I have two cats that are my limit due to apartment rules. When in someone else’s home I respect obvious and stated boundaries and can also provide light cleaning if necessary!

“Nicole took great care of our two elderly cats! They are not easy to care for because they both need medications, but Nicole did a great job. I looked forward to her daily updates because she sent lots of pictures ☺️”

“Thank you so much! I loved the pictures!! So grateful for the love you gave to Buddy so I could go shop for the day and not have to worry about him!!! I know he loved coming to stay with you and your family ❤️ I will definitely be coming again in the future!!! Thank you again!”

“Very last minute booking that she was very responsive to. She was flexible and patient in integrating her dogs, who Zuma loved. Zuma can be a nervous girl but Arianna really helped her feel comfortable. She's also great at training and her dogs are well behaved, which is helpful for a nervous dog like Zuma. I got lots of updates and pictures, she even took Zuma on a nice hike/run and she was well tuckered out after. An amazing price for the time and dedication she put into hosting Zuma. Will definitely use again if I'm in the area!”

“Great place for day care! My dog had so much fun he was so excited to go and didn’t want to leave at the end of the day. Very communicative through the process! Would recommend.”

“Christy was great! I used her for when I was traveling from Chicago to Wausau for a work trip, she watched my dog for during the day. She was very responsive, sent lots of pictures, I felt like my dog was well looked after. I would definitely use her again!”

Her communication was excellent, she has a gorgeous dog-friendly neighborhood and home, and she took excellent care of our dog. She and her kids returned him to us happy and tired, which is no small feat. I would go far out of my way to leave our dog with Becky again. Thanks so much!”

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats of various sizes and ages for as long as I can remember. I pride myself on providing the highest quality care and attention that all animals deserve. I love animals of all kinds, and my goal is to make their time apart from their owners as stress-free and enjoyable as possible! I'm well versed in animal body language, oral medication administration, and senior care. I'm available to do last-minute bookings, early mornings, late nights, holidays—you name it! I have plenty of time to accommodate you and your pet's needs! I'd love to know everything I can about your pet(s) to allow for the best possible experience! I also won't shy away from cleaning up after your pets and will adhere to specified household rules. Boarding is available on a case-by-case basis, as I only board one family pet(s) at a time. Because of the cats that I have, boarding is done in a separate living space away from the house. It's fully furnished, has heat and air conditioning, and is about the size of a studio apartment. I also live on 80 acres with plenty of walking trails in the woods, well-managed fields, and even a small pond. I will be with your pets the entire duration of their stay and will get them out multiple times during the day! If you request that I take them out on the walking trails, I do ask that your pets have tick medication on them.

About: I've been working in the veterinary field for almost 6 years and have had pets all my life. I am competent and confident in animal behavior and experience in handling. Additionally I can administer medications and take on care of senior pets. I currently work full-time at a veterinary clinic. If your pet is crate trained and is okay through the day when you're away I can accommodate a stay during the week. Otherwise, ideal days to board with me would be Saturday - Sunday. I can accommodate more frequent potty breaks and playtime these days. I have a fenced in yard and keep two kennels in my house to accommodate one small/medium and one medium/large dog. I prefer to only watch one additional dog at a time, but can be accommodating if you provide an extra kennel. Flea/tick treatment is recommended, as any pets found with fleas will be treated at owners expense or requested to end their stay early. About: I am a 48 year old who absolutely adores animals. I currently have four dogs, three cats, and three Russian Tortoises. I believe that pets are a family member. About: I have had pets in my household for as long as I could remember. Growing up we had cats, dogs, hamsters, Guinea pigs, and hermit crabs. In high school, I watched family and neighbors pets while they were away. In college, I got a job at a humane society. Here, I learned how to care for sick animals, administer medications, give vaccinations, treat fleas, remove ticks, take care of puppies and seniors, and much more to make sure all the animals were healthy. Also, I learned how to deal with aggressive and behavioral dogs/cats. Now, I have 4 dogs and 3 cats of my own. Most of them were rescues. I am currently a substitute teacher while I go back to school for my teaching degree. Days vary but typically I will be working 8 hours a day if I do get a job for the day. On weekends, I normally don’t have anything going on. I have a fenced in backyard that allows my dogs to run and use the bathroom. In the morning and at night, I take them for walks. In the afternoon, I take my GSP for a run. On weekends, we like to go to Sniffspots or hiking. In a clients home, I will take them for walks, play in the fenced in backyard if applicable, and sometimes with permission will take them hiking.
“Emily is great! Very clear that she cares for my dog like her own and I love the pictures she sends. She even goes above and beyond to give my cat some (very welcome) attention too when picking up/dropping off!”

She sent videos and pictures to keep us feeling comfortable throughout the stay. Megan was also flexible with accommodating our schedule for drop off and pick up. I highly recommend her to watch your fur baby.”

“Randee was great with Louie! We will not hesitate to have Louie stay with Randee again. Randee was very accommodating and understanding when we had to adjust some drop off and arrival times.”

“Larry loves spending time with his new uncle Nick! With a fantastic east side location, large fenced yard, and a great way with animals, Nick has been the ideal find for my timid, young dog. I could not recommend him more.”

“Autumn was able to take my dog in incredibly last minute when the other scheduled sitter cancelled at the time of drop off and I needed to head to get a surgery! She took great care of my 90+ pound pup who made best friends with her dog.”

About: I’m a traveling pet sitter and I love hanging out with all animals! I'm a member to both this and TrustedHouseSitters so I have references on there if you wish to see those I can send screen shots. My girlfriend, Debbie and I travel everywhere by car I'm currently only doing pet / house sitting at your house. If you’d like to FaceTime ahead of time that would be great. I'm excited to meet your dog or cat! I love being around pets so I go on walks or hangout around the house with the dog(s) and provide a safe and chill environment.
About: I've grown up with pets my whole life - dogs, cats, cows, horses, hamsters, mice, you name it I probably had it at one point. I have a dog of my own as well. I like to say I've had animal experience my whole life, but formally I have had over 8 years of experience in the animal care industry. I have spent time in veterinary clinics, grooming, boarding, doggy daycare, dog training, permanent sanctuaries, rehabilitation facilities, and farms. I have also fostered multiple dogs from a local rescue. I recently earned a degree in animal science and have plans to attend veterinary school. I really really love animals and everything about them, and I would love to spend some time with your pet when you're not able to! I take my dog for two walks a day, a shorter 10-15 minute walk in the morning, and longer 30-45 minute walk after work in the afternoon. On days I am not working, I go on multiple short walks a day. There are paths I walk for both off-leash and on-leash walking. Typical available days are T-F. Weekends vary. Outdoor activities (walks, meeting friends dogs, swimming, fetch, etc.) are my primary methods of exercise and activity with my pet, and would be with clients pets as well. On days it's not so nice I like to work on training inside or find new enrichment activities to keep my pet occupied. I take pride in keeping a pet environment clean, so I regularly bathe and brush my dog, as well as clean food bowls. I will care for my clients pets as I would care for my own.
“I had an amazing first experience using the Rover app with Melissa! Chopper seemed comfortable, happy, and well taken care of the entire time. Melissa communicated incredibly well and sent lots of updates and pictures, which gave me a peace of mind. She was also very sweet, flexible with her availability, and active with Chopper. Melissa took Chopper on several long walks, and it was clear he had a great time with her. I would definitely recommend Melissa to anyone looking for a caring, active, and reliable sitter. I look forward to booking with her again for Chopper in the future!”
