About: I have been relied on to care for friends, family, and neighbors pets since I was old enough to take responsibility. When I was 14, my helping of peoples pets started when I watched a family friends dog for 4 years during week days and occasional weekends. I worked at a doggie day care facility for 4 months at the end of 2021, doing all duties that go into caring for our furry friends. I went to college to get a degree as a Veterinary Technician for a year and a half. During the time of schooling I worked in a vet clinic and took on the job role as a kennel technician, helping out with anything and everything I could get my hands on. I dropped school because of personal and external obstacles but would love to go back in the future to finish. I only aim to please and never disappoint! About: Most of my friends call me an animal whisperer. I love pets and always have. Born and raised on a farm, animals are not new to me. I am pretty well versed in loving animals, as well as caring for animals as they deserve. I am currently home full-time, loving on my own 50 lb. Aussiedoodle, Hans. Hans and I would love to offer our spare time in support of your pet needs. I also am a guinea pig mom to 9 special guinea pigs! Animals are the way to my heart, and I can always make time for one more. Although it doesn't specify caged animals, like guinea pigs, I am happy to pet sit, board, or help with daily care of your caged pets. About: I have had dogs since as long as I can remember, and have always loved caring for and playing with them! Not just dogs, but other animals as well. I’ve also helped friends care for and train new puppies and pets. I majored in Behavior Analysis and have worked in an animal behavior lab. I would love to get outside and active with your pets! I can also house sit and pup sit if that is your need/comfortability as well. I work during the normal school year as a nursing instructor. I am off during the summer and am home FULL TIME to dedicate ALL of my time & attention to the fur babies! I promise your baby will be tuckered out, loved on and well fed (to your instructions of course!) Boarding at my home: safety is my top priority with animal to animal interaction and human to animal interaction. If pups need more alone time/privacy, they can be housed separately from my dogs at all times as we have multiple access points from our home to our fenced in yard and gate sectioning in our house. I do walks daily with them and am outside with them as well for the majority of the day. Our fenced in yard has a dog pool and I have BUCKETS of toys for them to play with! If your pup leans toward the spicier side & is more protective when it comes to their toys, food, or water please let me know and separation accommodations can be made, no problem. All breeds are different and each pup is different. I can also give medications topically, orally, injections etc. I can provide hourly updates through text, video call, phone calls, whatever you would like! At minimum I send a daily update. In your home: as a nurse, safety is always my top priority. I am also extremely clean and organized. I can maintain your daily routine with your pup so they don’t miss much while you are away. Again, meet and greets I encourage so you and especially your pup are comfortable meeting me and being in your home. I’ll be their make-shift auntie while you are away! I was traveling constantly for work, but am now full time work from home. When I lived in another state for work, I did pet care as a part time job with private clients weekly. I grew to absolutely love it and would love to get established back in Wisconsin. I grew up with dogs, cats, and cows my entire life - being raised on a farm. I am the type of person who can’t stop without petting a dog whenever I see one! Providing companionship to your pet is my favorite thing to do. We can go on walks, eat food, and watch the latest Hulu show together! Your fur baby is welcome to sleep with me, on the floor, or in any bed or crate you bring. My two rescue cats absolutely LOVE other animals, so there is no worry there. They are so curious and eventually become besties! I do live in an apartment, BUT, I am right next to the walking trail in River Prairie (the loop). I would be more than happy to go on as many walks as needed, and enjoy some sunshine with your fur baby! So do not worry, they can be outside as much or little as you’d like. I am open to care of all animals, all sizes, and all ages. If wanted, I visit my family farm quite often where we have extensive yard and land to run on. While I traveled full time for work in the past, constant updates on my animals back home was crucial to me. I will provide as much or little communication you’d like. “We had a great experience with an overnight stay at Tyler & Caitlin's for our boy, Russell! Everything went smoothly from communicating about the stay, dropping him off, receiving updates throughout the weekend, to picking him up Sunday evening. Russell enjoyed playing with their dog and a couple others they were boarding at the time. It was obvious that Tyler and Caitlin love dogs and have lots of experience with them.
