“Please read! I will be there first to admit I was skeptical of using Rover. I carefully scanned through profiles of those willing to watch the two dogs we have, a Great Dane and a boxer. Cilyr was so much more than we could have asked for! She and I agreed having a meet and greet prior was a great choice to make sure the dogs would have an easier transition. Cilyr went to every length to ensure she had asked questions we may not have thought of: do the dogs have allergies? Require specific routines? But I was really blown away when she brought to my attention that she does not have a truck large enough for our Great Dane in the event he would need to get to a vet emergently however, she has already arranged with a friend and neighbor that she could borrow theirs should an emergency arise. I knew at that moment She was that absolutely perfect choice to watch our dogs. This was not just a” side gig” for her, she genuinely cares so much for animals and helping others! When I brought the boys back for their week long stay they took about a day and a half to fully adjust. I know this because Cilyr went above and beyond to make sure I knew the boys were doing well and sent pictures! It was so heartwarming to get those little messages and pictures and know our boys were in great hands. Through those pictures you could see our dogs easing into their day and feeling safe and loved. Before we had even returned from our vacation we had discussed that we will hands down take our dogs back to her any time we need to leave them. She put our minds at ease by sending us pictures every day and we could see from the pictures how both cats came to trust her in a short period of time and to also play with her. I have a acer that is completely fenced in and I am more than happy to offer pick up and drop off to the west side of Madison. About: I genuine care and give attention to every dog as if they were my own. I’m patient, reliable, and attentive to each dog’s individual needs. I’m comfortable working with puppies who are still learning routines, including basic training and potty schedules, and I’m also gentle and mindful with senior dogs who may need slower walks, medication reminders, or extra comfort. I currently work only 2 days out of the week, but my schedule is very flexible, and can switch days if need be! I also keep the home tidy and make sure pets stay on their normal schedule. “Homa and Matt took in our dog Angus and treated him as family. They have a 2 year old that chased and played with him like their other dog. Angus did not even notice us leaving. About: I’ve been around and taken care of dogs of every kind my entire life basically. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me since I was a little girl to walk, feed and bathe their pets. I currently dog sit full time, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available for boarding all seven days of the week at anytime of need! I have a spacious yard and two friendly female dogs(both spayed) to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed.
“Our 4 month old Luna stayed at Ballby's house for the weekend and we couldn't have been happier with the service. The hosts was willing to pick Luna up from daycare on Friday evening, they were very gracious about the "accidents" that our pup had on her first night, and we received photo updates throughout the weekend. Luna had so much fun playing with Ballby that she came home Sunday and passed out until the next morning. We will definitely recommend this host.”
