About: As a veterinary medical student, who would I be without my at home patients? My personal cat, Skooter, is my special guy as he was paralyzed from the neck down at only 8 weeks old. I obtained him from a rescue organization and have worked extensively to restore his mobility. He has now regained the ability to walk in his own special way. About: Hi! My name is Taylor and I have been around dogs my entire life. I grew up with two Blue Healers, a Yorkie Poo, and a Cavalier. Friends and family have relied on me to care for their furry friends when they are unable to and it’s my favorite past time! I’m currently working overnights as a nurse, however this is only 3 days of my week. My schedule does not look the same each week, but I will make sure to keep it as updated as possible!! Although I live in an apartment building, it is a 2-bedroom and very spacious! I also live near bike paths, the river, and plenty of grassy areas for potty breaks.

I grew up in rural Wisconsin so not only did we have the standard cats/dogs around but we also cared for cows and other farm animals. There's plenty of space for your pet here! We live in a 3 bedroom house with a huge unfinished basement which we use as a 38 foot X 18 foot animal play area which is especially handy on those snowy/rainy days where it's hard to get those high energy dogs outside for a good walk/run. There's also plenty of space in both the front and back yard to allow for pets to run around. The neighborhood is in a low traffic subdivision with lots of pet owners so everybody keeps an eye out for each others pets and walks are quiet and safe as there's no through traffic in the area.

We do require dogs to potty trained and not have a history of aggression as they will be with our kids. They also need to be trained to not chew on non toys unless they are still puppies which we fully understand and can work with! We look forward to having an opportunity to meet you and keeping you pets well loved! My wife and I have vast experience with pets and pet training. I will be giving the dogs a majority of the walks in the morning and night, and my wife works part time from home where she can be around to watch your dog during the day. We also have two kids that love to play and give dog’s attention and love. However, there are breeds of dogs are kids are allergic too so we will have to review your dog before agreeing to watch them. We have a large yard in a quiet neighborhood. However, it is not fenced. We will walk your dog a minimum of 2x per day, with bathroom breaks every 2-4 hours. Your dog will spend much of their time in our house, or in the large 4x8 kennel we have. We do require the breeds of dogs that we let in our house to not be breeds our kids are allergic too. For pets in our house we also request they do not have extensive history chewing on things they shouldn’t. We’re also good with puppies as we understand they are still learning!

About: I owned a dog for a couple years who had a disease that required special care when eating and drinking water, he had a lot of medical needs. I became profiecent in his needs and provided great care before he passed. With that said, I have experience with taking care of dogs with special needs. About: I’ve owned a dog for about 6 years, but I’ve been around dogs and cats for my whole life. I have experience with food aggression, and things of that nature. Above all, I’m extremely patient and willing to take the best care of your pet! I work 3 days a week, and am usually available 4 days a week, as well as early or later on the days that I do work. My dog is a high energy Australian shepherd. We go for 2+ mile walks daily as well as other forms of mental stimulation! I have no problem taking your dog on a long walk or playing typical pet games!

About: Hi! My name is Taylor and I have been around dogs my entire life. I grew up with two Blue Healers, a Yorkie Poo, and a Cavalier. Friends and family have relied on me to care for their furry friends when they are unable to and it’s my favorite past time! I’m currently working overnights as a nurse, however this is only 3 days of my week. My schedule does not look the same each week, but I will make sure to keep it as updated as possible!! Although I live in an apartment building, it is a 2-bedroom and very spacious! I also live near bike paths, the river, and plenty of grassy areas for potty breaks.

About: I’ve had my dog since age eight but just moved away from home for college and want to make your dog’s day along with mine! I work part time so I have plenty of free time and would love to get some exercise while doing something I love! 🦮🐾❤️ I would like to walk at least three times a week and depending on my work schedule I would like to keep the times pretty consistent. I have a fenced in yard along with a dog friendly park just a block away. I live in a safe neighborhood and have had many dogs stay and visit in the past couple months.
About: I have pretty open availability and do not travel that often. I have two small dogs that are playful and energetic. For as long as I can remember, dogs have been part of my life and have gotten me through anything that has ever happened to me. Bad or good. I not only want to cuddle and play with your furry friend, but gain a bond. A friendship. My partner works from home as well. I would love to take any dog in my home while you are away, to either play with me or play with my very own bundles of energy, Coco and Brulee! Please let me know if I can help you out at any time! I do work M-F but have weekends off. My partner works from home and is home all day long. I do have a decent lunch and get off by 5 every day. I would feed your pups on your schedule. I take the time and energy needed to play, nourish and allow your dog to run if needed. Dogs are family and I intend on treating them this way.

“Karen was great to work with. Very open for a meet and greet prior to having our Barley stay there. She allowed Barley to wander in the fenced in area to familiarize himself. Barley wasn't afraid of her, in fact walked right up to her for petting. She was great in letting us drop off 1/2 hr earlier than expected as was ready for our vacation earlier. Arrived home earlier in the day than we thought so was great with letting us pick up Barley a day early. Karen said she would go on Rover and adjust days for a refund...I declined and said enjoy it as a tip. He was a tired but happy dog when we picked him up. Thank you Karen.”

About: I have recently started dog sitting in my home. I have helped friends and now opening my home to more furry companions to help your family. I am a teacher in Dubuque and have the summers off. During the school year I work from 7:30-4:00 and home full time in the summer months. My home has a fenced in yard and is in the perfect location for walking.
