“What can I say? Melissa was amazing. Needed a sitter for our Weimaraner at the last minute. Needed to leave town for family reasons. Called the usual suspects. They gave me the dog and pony show. No pun. Ridiculous what you got to go through to board your dog these days. A few of my friends and customers recommended Rover. I went on there and checked it out. In about 30 minutes from first seeing it, to signing up, I had already booked Melissa to watch our dog Kaiser. I arranged to bring him over, and she couldn't have been any more sweet. I can really tell that she loves animals. Very cool chick too. Our dog was in good hands the couple days he was there. When we got him back, he was well rested, and had none of the anxiety boarding can bring on. It's great to know I have someone that I can rely on if we leave town for any reason to watch after our pooch. I couldn't recommend her anymore. Thank you!”

We left our sweet Piper with Krystal for a week and Piper seemed to adjust well and was in good spirits when we picked her up. About: My family and I had a dog of our own for about 13 years during my childhood, allowing me to gain experience in feeding, training, and walking dogs. Now that she has sadly passed away, I would love to give other pets the same love I am no longer able to give to my own pet. I currently work part-time and have plenty of time to smother your pets with my love! Late mornings and early afternoons are the times that typically work best for me, but I am flexible and willing to try anything! I will only allow pets that are fine being outside because my house does not allow pets indoors. I have a large yard surrounded by fields in a rural area where pets are free to roam in sight as long as they’re well-trained.
About: I used to have cats and have raised kittens, but I can no longer have cats of my own because my husband is allergic. I miss having and will enjoy being around them when I sit for yours.

About: I have been an emergency and critical care veterinary technician for 10 years so I’m very comfortable with senior pets or pets with medical needs. I work relief at two pet hospitals and have 3 children so no 2 days looks alike for me and that’s how I like it. I love to be outdoors and love finding new places to walk and explore with my little crew. I live in the country so my backyard includes trials, fields, and woods to play in. I also love to travel so I know how stressful it is to leave your pup with someone else so I’ll be sure to send lots of pictures and as many updates as you’d like! I work relief/per diem at multiple emergency pet hospitals and I have 3 kids so not one single day looks like the next. My schedule is set about 2 months in advance so just ask about days you need! I have a very low key beagle and 3 small children that are good with dogs. We live in the county so there is lots of room and trails to explore.

We have two training periods per day with our dogs and include any dogs that are here as well. Our home is VERY PUPPY PROOF, as we have had the joy of raising puppies in our home recently. My spots fill up quickly so plan ahead. I can’t wait to meet your dogs! Shelby, Paul and Alyssa. I have two friendly Bernedoodles who will gladly run the backyard with your pups! They prefer multiple short visits to the backyard and one or two long play sessions. We go out with the dogs and PLAY WITH THEM. I can keep smaller breeds entirely separated from larger dogs if preferred. However, my dogs are very gentle with small dogs. We rarely leave our babies home alone. We do have XL crates available to keep them safe if they have a short time alone due to an emergency. Guests have the privilege of supervised, free-roaming access to the dog-friendly/dog-proofed main level of the house. We can separate dogs if necessary with walk-through gates. This is something we do during meet and greets, but rarely during an actual stay. I can accommodate eating preferences. Water is available in multiple rooms. I specialize in puppy care and will work on training your dog as well while in my care. I do not accept aggressive or reactive dogs. I require proof of vaccination and flea and tick prevention.

My dad was a firefighter, and came home with Pepper Christmas morning. My sister had a mini goldendoodle. I would stop daily after work around 3:45pm to play and take walks. I took a separation package from my employer 5/1/25 and now would like to offer walks, daycare, drop in visits and boarding . During your boarding, Larger dog's WILL be crated at night. Your dog will be crated when I play pickleball in the mornings. I do have a crate(s). Please note if sending a request there may be a delay in responding due to pickleball between 9:30 - 12:30 approximate times. I currently have two dog walking appointments from 11:30 - 2:00pm Monday-Thursday. Your pet will be crated during this time. I have the time to provide loving care, playtime and walks with your pet. I will provide pictures and updates to you. About: I’m the type of person who goes to a party and makes friends with the dog. My friends know I’m around when they see a blanket covering up their sleeping pup. My family has nicknamed me dog girl because I take on the challenge of caring for all of them during family functions. I have experience with dogs who need medication, eye drops, ear drops, or who have health issues. I work from home so I am able to hangout with your pet all day! I have a very flexible work schedule if appointments are needed. I prefer to care for dogs in my home but can watch in your home, let out during the day, and check on your home if away. About: I have been around and taken care of animals my whole life. no animal is too big or too small, they all deserve love. i have had cats, dogs, gerbils, fish, lizards, and frogs. About: I’ve been around dogs for most of my life family and friends pets and enjoy playing and taking care of them when needed love dogs of all sizes I’m currently working full time but love animals and helping with them where I can. Going on walks or just throwing a ball around I can do it all. Whether your fur baby likes to lounge around or be active I enjoy both and with 3 children at home keeping track and cleaning up after them is a regular past time of mine.
About: Friends, families, and neighbors have relied on me to dog sit, dog walk, and do potty breaks for them for over 10 years now! I love all breeds and ages of dogs! Growing up I’ve always been around dogs, I have a very flexible schedule which allows me to to find and make the needed time for your pets! “What can I say? Melissa was amazing. Needed a sitter for our Weimaraner at the last minute. Needed to leave town for family reasons. Called the usual suspects. They gave me the dog and pony show. No pun. Ridiculous what you got to go through to board your dog these days. A few of my friends and customers recommended Rover. I went on there and checked it out. In about 30 minutes from first seeing it, to signing up, I had already booked Melissa to watch our dog Kaiser. I arranged to bring him over, and she couldn't have been any more sweet. I can really tell that she loves animals. Very cool chick too. Our dog was in good hands the couple days he was there. When we got him back, he was well rested, and had none of the anxiety boarding can bring on. It's great to know I have someone that I can rely on if we leave town for any reason to watch after our pooch. I couldn't recommend her anymore. Thank you!”

“I would definitely recommend Todd as a sitter! He took my dog for walks and she enjoyed playing in their fenced yard. My dog had an operation recently and was still on antibiotics every 12 hours. Todd made sure she got her medicine on time and texted me after each dose to let me know she got it. He also sent pictures and kept me updated with how she was settling in. Very happy with her stay with Todd and his family.”

“Krystal's love of dogs is evident and her current bestie, Duke, was a welcoming partner! We left our sweet Piper with Krystal for a week and Piper seemed to adjust well and was in good spirits when we picked her up. I think she even missed Krystal and Duke for a day or so after we returned home! Krystal kept us abreast of how Piper was doing and was responsive to our questions. I was amazed by how unfazed she was by the cold, wet weather that hung over the Fox Valley the week we were away; seemingly taking the additional 4 muddy paws in stride!
