Laura checked in regularly and shared funny photos of Jewel clearly living her best life! Laura and her family went above and beyond—they even set up a small plastic pool, which Jewel seemed to thoroughly enjoy, along with plenty of playtime and frolicking with the children. Their fenced-in yard and quiet neighborhood provided a safe and welcoming environment. When our return flight was unexpectedly canceled and we needed to stay an extra day in New York, Laura was incredibly accommodating and flexible. About: I have experience caring for animals of all kinds, though I can currently only offer in-my-home care to dogs. I have always had family pets growing up. I got my own dog when I was in high school. I currently own 2 well-mannered dogs, a hunting labrador and a scent detection pit-mix. I have more than 2 years of professional gun dog training experience, and have trained over 50 puppies/dogs. I currently work from home, so I will be able to accommodate any schedule your pet may need. My own dogs recieve 2 feedings per day (5am and 5pm). We often take a morning walk (typically no less than 1-2 miles, less if I am walking a young puppy or senior dog with mobility issues). Also evening walks if weather is appropriate. I do not allow my dogs to do strenuous activity or rough play right after a meal. The yard is not fenced, so dogs will be on leash or long-line and fully supervised when outside the home. For off-lead outdoor fun we will take trips to the local dog park (not a very heavily trafficed dog park, usually empty). I have experience providing oral and subcutaneous medication to pets, should your pet need medication while in my care.

About: I have been a foster parent for the Humane Society for the last 3 years. I have had dogs and cats all of my life and regularly watch pets for my family and friends. I had a calm and friendly dog named Ketchup that we had for 12 years. I also have a cat named Binx that I adopted last year from the Humane Society. Animals will stay inside the home in a calm and safe environment. They will get dedicated time and attention while they are boarded here. Animals will have playtime and dogs will go for walks. I will send pictures to their parents while they are away. I work from home so I am always available to keep your pet company while you are gone. This also allows me the time needed to check on your pet and provide bathroom breaks as needed. I can take dogs for daily walks and they will have plenty of playtime. My Izy is extremely good off leash, I give her that freedom so she can run all around and get her energy out, she knows where not to go very well!! When on walks she is leashed up always!!

About: Since I was little I have always loved animals, I feel that I have a unique connection with them. From 10 years old. In Ecuador, I was taking care of dogs. The neighbors have trusted me for the attention I gave their pets, for playing with them, etc. But since I arrived in the United States I have not been able to continue with that hobby. I took care of the dogs of the owner of the house where he lived for 6 years, giving him all the love, patience and daily attention he needed. I don't have much real experience with food, walking and bathing. I am reliable, friendly and treat everyone like a family. About: I grew up on a hobby farm for the first 20 years of my life. On that farm I cared for various dogs, cats, horses, goats, chickens, peacocks, bunnies, fish & more. I have cared for and pet-sat all of these animals & more since I was 10-years-old. I have experience administering shots & giving oral medication as well as grooming dogs, goats, horses, cats & even chickens! I also offer grooming & nail trimming services for an additional price if you so wish. I started showing dogs, horses, goats & chickens in 4-H when I was 10 & started showing dogs through the American Kennel Club (AKC) when I was 12-years-old. I’ve been a member of the Sheboygan Dog Training Club for over 5 years. My dogs & I have trained & shown in Obedience, Rally, Showmanship, Confirmation, FAST Cat, Fetch, scent work & more. No matter how much time I spend with my dogs & others, I can’t get enough. They are one of my greatest passions! <3 Every day, I wake up at 6:30am to let my dogs outside to go potty, & play then feed them. We take about a 30-minute walk before I go to work. I get to work by 8am Monday-Thursday. On my lunch break, I come home to let my dogs out & walk them. My husband and I get done with work at 3:30pm (home by 4pm) each day to let the dogs out again. We then walk & feed the dogs once more in the evening. They go out for the last time in the evening anywhere between 10pm-12am. (My husband is a night owl!) My husband & I have a fenced in yard at our home & 3 dogs of our own to keep your dog(s) company. My dogs are crate trained & can stay in our dog room in our basement if your pet(s) prefer not to be around ours. They can also all be let out & walked separately. I have a fairly flexible job in case of emergency where I may need to leave early. I can send updates & photos daily if that is what you’re interested in or let you have a quiet, uninterrupted vacation.

About: I’ve been a dog owner since 10 years old and have not gone without mans best friend since! I currently live on 23 acres in the country and long walks and chasing balls packs in most of the day with my 4 dogs Jetta, Odie, Ruby and Rowley. All dogs are dog friendly and well mannered. Graduating puppy classes to canine good citizen classes, plus dabbling in agility and herding. I currently work Weekends Friday-Sunday and my week is filled with lots of outdoor time on my hobbies farm. Lots of free time during the week helps me have fun with my animals and enjoy the sunshine. All my pets are cat and dog friendly and have full freedom of the property. New comers are always on a 12 foot leash during playtime and walks, unless E-collar trained. When first meeting owners I go over your dogs recall manners and slowly introduce them to the pack on a long property walk. This helps incorporate pack leadership and expelling energy at the same time.

The other home, has a large open field in the back, which unless the animal is off the leash trained, we have long leads for them to run free (ish). I am currently working full-time as a teacher, so my availability will be limited to weekends until summer. During summer, I will have full flexibility to help you care for your pet, especially in the mornings! I am willing to do meet-and-greets prior to the service to familiarize myself with your pet and home. Please let me know if you have any preferred routes for walking due to past encounters, etc. I am a teacher, so evenings and weekends are my school-year availability. About: I’ve worked with variety of species, specializing with dogs! I have skills with grooming and training. I have 4 of my own dogs and do dog sports as well! I work from home so I have extra time to care for your pets and am able to move around my schedule. Saturdays are the only days I may not be able to take same day bookings! I understand crate and gate management and will make sure your animals are happy and healthy! All animals will be fed and cared for by owners guidelines. I am a 4-H leader where I teach children how to train dogs and I help them show and prepare their animals at fair. I also show my own animals at the fair. I will always be there for your pet and I will make sure they are well taken care of and loved just like they are my own. I am a teacher who is currently on summer break. So my schedule is pretty open during the summer and I have a lot of availability. During the school year, most of my weekends are free as well as when we have breaks. I am flexible and willing to make things work for you! I live on a little hobby farm with my husband. I have 3 dogs and 3 cats who are very friendly. I have everything needed in my home to take care of a dog including a kennel if needed as well as tie outs. We have a lake that is 5 minutes from our house and if your dog loves to swim, I would be happy to take them. I take my dogs all over in the summer and I would make sure your pet gets a lot of attention and exercise as well. Additionally, we have a huge barn and fenced in pasture as well as rabbit hutches in the barn and a chicken coop! Whatever animal you have they can be comfortable at my property. Additionally, if you feel better about your animal staying at home, I am happy to accommodate to that as well.
About: I have taken care of pets since I was 8. I pay attention to all the pets that I care for. I also am very good at attending to dogs with anything they need. I am looking to do this full time and I am flexible with anyone’s schedule. I am home most of the time except to run errands. I have a big house and big yard that is fenced in. About: I have experience caring for animals of all kinds, though I can currently only offer in-my-home care to dogs. I have always had family pets growing up. I got my own dog when I was in high school. I currently own 2 well-mannered dogs, a hunting labrador and a scent detection pit-mix. I have more than 2 years of professional gun dog training experience, and have trained over 50 puppies/dogs. I currently work from home, so I will be able to accommodate any schedule your pet may need. My own dogs recieve 2 feedings per day (5am and 5pm). We often take a morning walk (typically no less than 1-2 miles, less if I am walking a young puppy or senior dog with mobility issues). Also evening walks if weather is appropriate. I do not allow my dogs to do strenuous activity or rough play right after a meal. The yard is not fenced, so dogs will be on leash or long-line and fully supervised when outside the home. For off-lead outdoor fun we will take trips to the local dog park (not a very heavily trafficed dog park, usually empty). I have experience providing oral and subcutaneous medication to pets, should your pet need medication while in my care.
