About: ****Our family is growing June 2026. We will be taking a pause from watching our four-legged friends starting in June '26 and expect to resume services in September '26. May '26 bookings may be possible, and we will start considering bookings for September and beyond starting in August**** Together we both have extensive experience with dogs of all ages and types. We have experience raising puppies, including those being raised to be future service dogs. Additionally, we have experience working with special needs dogs that are blind or require daily insulin treatment. We currently have two dogs, a 5 year old black lab and a 2 year old golden retriever. Both are highly socialized and get along well with dogs of all sizes/personalities. Ochai is well-known at the Rib Mountain dog park as being one of the sweetest dogs to people and dogs alike. We both volunteer our time at the Humane Society of Marathon County. Furthering our experiences with dogs of many backgrounds and temperaments. You may see a featured adoptable dog that is currently at the shelter in our photos. This dog is one we personally think may be a great addition to a family, especially one that already has a dog! Sometimes we send our dogs to daycare so we can open up our home to a shelter dog for the day and give them the relaxing day they deserve so much. Of course, on the days we do this, we aren't available to offer daycare/boarding. If you have a HSMC graduate pup from May 2023 onward we would love to see our old friends again! Please let us know and we will offer a free day of boarding or daycare as a token of appreciation for adopting a HSMC pup! When we confirm a booking you should know that at least one of us will likely be with your dog at all times, day or night. Tractive GPS Tracking The safety and wellbeing of your dog is always important to us and we know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your pet behind. That is why we have added a GPS tracker to utilize. Not only will your furry loved one's location always be known at any given second, but we can also track their health to make sure they are doing well during their stay. -We currently only have one device, so it is not a guarantee your dog will be utilizing it during their stay. If you would like to guarantee it for your pup during their stay, we can accommodate these types of requests at the time of booking for $5/night or $25/stay. -We can share access to the tracker so you can know your pups location at any time and can check in on their health. It will show various information like their sleep activity and exercise information. This is only available if you reserve the tracker ahead of their stay. ---NEW! We are now privately insured outside of Rover. This allows additional and even more comprehensive coverage for your pup while they stay with us. Through PSA we are able to offer up to $2,500 in deductible free veterinary care if your pup gets hurt/ill.--- Our house features a spacious half acre yard that is fully fenced in. You will get plenty of pictures and updates of your pup under our care. Please let us know the frequency of pictures/updates you would like and we will be happy to show you how your pup is doing. About: I have owned horses and dogs my whole life and have a love for animals. I have been watching family friend’s dogs for years and I wanted to get more into pet sitting/walking! I also volunteered at the humane society all throughout college so I have a lot of experience with cats of all personalities as well as dogs that may be shy or have triggers. I currently work from home 3 out of the 5 days which makes it easy for me to pet sit during the week and ensuring full care!! I also work 7 am to 3:15 pm so I have all afternoon to do any dog walks and check ins! At my home I have room for a crate if needed. About: I've grown up with pets my whole life - dogs, cats, cows, horses, hamsters, mice, you name it I probably had it at one point. I have a dog of my own as well. I like to say I've had animal experience my whole life, but formally I have had over 8 years of experience in the animal care industry. I have spent time in veterinary clinics, grooming, boarding, doggy daycare, dog training, permanent sanctuaries, rehabilitation facilities, and farms. I have also fostered multiple dogs from a local rescue. I recently earned a degree in animal science and have plans to attend veterinary school. I really really love animals and everything about them, and I would love to spend some time with your pet when you're not able to! I take my dog for two walks a day, a shorter 10-15 minute walk in the morning, and longer 30-45 minute walk after work in the afternoon. On days I am not working, I go on multiple short walks a day. There are paths I walk for both off-leash and on-leash walking. Typical available days are T-F. Weekends vary. Outdoor activities (walks, meeting friends dogs, swimming, fetch, etc.) are my primary methods of exercise and activity with my pet, and would be with clients pets as well. On days it's not so nice I like to work on training inside or find new enrichment activities to keep my pet occupied. I take pride in keeping a pet environment clean, so I regularly bathe and brush my dog, as well as clean food bowls. I will care for my clients pets as I would care for my own.

About: Throughout my 18 years, I had 5 dogs all Chihuahuas. They were definetly harder to take care of and train. My recent dog passed away 2 years ago due to skin cancer. I wasn't sure what to make of it. I knew he wasn't going to make it but I still continued to attempted to feed him, clean his sore on his nose and get him diapers to use the bathroom in. When he left, I had a void as if I was missing something. I began dog sitting for a close friend in the beginning of 2025, I realized that I enjoyed being surrounded by animals to comfort me. It makes me feel like I have a friend again. I treated them like they were my own. I followed the schedules and instructions that were given to me and tried to make sure that I was doing everything correctly. I asked questions before and during the pet care to make sure the pet felt safe as if there parents were taking care of them. In the summer, I will be enrolled in a Nursing Assistant course, however, it will only be for 4-5 hours 2 times every week. I am a college student so I will try to be getting as much money as I can to help me achieve my future goals and career. However, I will mostly be free throughout the afternoon and night to achieve the needs of my employer. In my clients home, I will try my best to offer what I can in cases of safety in the environment. If the client doesn't want their cat to be wondering outside then I will try my best to keep them inside. While walking the dog, I will try my best to be patient until they pee or poop. I will try to follow what's best on the schedule for the clients pets.

I spent a lot of time playing with them and giving them lots of love. I often cat sit, and I love to spend extra time at the house playing with the cats, whether they are interested in me or couldn’t care less. I miss my dogs like crazy so I am super excited to meet your furry friends! I am a full time college student, so I have classes throughout the week. Monday’s and Tuesday’s are my busiest days, so I probably will not take jobs that land on either of those. The rest of my weekdays are pretty open, as long as your dog can go a couple hours home alone. As for the weekends, I do not have any specific time commitments. I most likely will not be able to spend all day Saturday and Sunday in your home, but if you communicate how much time your pets need I can do my best. I am happy to spend Friday and Saturday nights in your home, but I will sleep in the dorms on any school night. At home, we did not have any fence to keep our dogs in the yard. I supervise at all times when a dog is outside, and I am open to taking them out on a leash if that is what you prefer.

About: I've grown up with pets my whole life - dogs, cats, cows, horses, hamsters, mice, you name it I probably had it at one point. I have a dog of my own as well. I like to say I've had animal experience my whole life, but formally I have had over 8 years of experience in the animal care industry. I have spent time in veterinary clinics, grooming, boarding, doggy daycare, dog training, permanent sanctuaries, rehabilitation facilities, and farms. I have also fostered multiple dogs from a local rescue. I recently earned a degree in animal science and have plans to attend veterinary school. I really really love animals and everything about them, and I would love to spend some time with your pet when you're not able to! I take my dog for two walks a day, a shorter 10-15 minute walk in the morning, and longer 30-45 minute walk after work in the afternoon. On days I am not working, I go on multiple short walks a day. There are paths I walk for both off-leash and on-leash walking. Typical available days are T-F. Weekends vary. Outdoor activities (walks, meeting friends dogs, swimming, fetch, etc.) are my primary methods of exercise and activity with my pet, and would be with clients pets as well. On days it's not so nice I like to work on training inside or find new enrichment activities to keep my pet occupied. I take pride in keeping a pet environment clean, so I regularly bathe and brush my dog, as well as clean food bowls. I will care for my clients pets as I would care for my own.
