Danielle dropped the pup off before the ceremony and picked him up after (even showing up early in case we needed her). We left our sweet Piper with Krystal for a week and Piper seemed to adjust well and was in good spirits when we picked her up. I think she even missed Krystal and Duke for a day or so after we returned home! Krystal kept us abreast of how Piper was doing and was responsive to our questions. I was amazed by how unfazed she was by the cold, wet weather that hung over the Fox Valley the week we were away; seemingly taking the additional 4 muddy paws in stride! About: I have been around cats all my life. I grew up with a family of cats as a child. I had my own pet cat Marley in my early adulthood. I had him for 14 years. He is currently living with a friend who wouldn't give him back to me after watching him for a few months. I miss him, but it's all for the best as I have just recently moved to Bremerton. I also had a Saint Bernard who passed away of brian cancer in July 2021 at the age of 9.

About: My husband and I have been watching dogs in our home for over 10 years. Our busy lives of work and family have always held us back from owning our own dog. To satisfy our love for dogs we started watching our friends and families dogs and over the years thru word of mouth we have started getting phone calls asking if we would take on more dogs and then joined Rover. We have experience with small to large dogs, dogs with special dietary needs, dogs that need to be able to run, dogs that want to sit on your lap, to dogs that have medical needs. We believe that dogs should be treated as part of the family. We allow them to sit on furniture, sleep in bed etc.. Our jobs have afford us the ability to be able to adjust our schedules to be flexible and have the option to work from home when we have a dog staying with us. This allows us to be home with your dog to ensure they are getting plenty of play time, outside time and lots of attention. It is very rare that your dog will be home alone for a period of time. Our home is your dogs home... we give the dogs full access to the house. We are non smokers and do not have any pets of our own or small children. We walk the dogs twice a day and have an acre of land that dogs are free to roam, run and play -we like to play ball and tug a rope. We do provide a ground stake with a leash for those that like to run "free". We have ability to work from home and have very flexible schedules when needed. Which in turn allows us to very rarely leave your dog home alone We treat the dogs just as if they were our very own pet.. as part of the family. They have free range of the house .. on the furniture and beds.

I (Kayla) Have my grooming license and have dog sit, helped with rescues and administration of medications, physical therapy ect. Offer enrichment and lots of space to run and play! **FYI** if anyone is uncomfortable boarding at my home because we have dogs, we are more than happy, and capable of keeping your pet completely separate while still giving them a positive experience with plenty of space and love. Update 08/13/25 Just to be EXTRA cautious, unless you request otherwise, we will be keeping our dogs separate at all times. I currently have an open schedule so will build and work around everyone as I go. Working on building a great efficient and FUN routine! I have a fully fenced in back yard to play in and lots of toys and enrichment stuff to do while here, can also bring enrichment to other homes. Also can do baths, nails, ears, brushing..anything dog, I'm in!
About: Our family loves animals. We have a comfortable home with a large yard. We have three caring boys that love pets. We are not quite ready to bring a dog into our home full-time because of traveling, but we love to have the company of a pet from time to time. Recently, our youngest has been showing allergy symptoms, so we are only able to watch hypo-allergenic dogs. The dog is treated like our own and spoiled during their stay with us. I work from home with my skincare business, so most of the day, I am home with the pets. We welcome potty trained dogs to our home that do well with children. We can adjust our care style to what makes you most comfortable. I also love to do drop in visits and fill the Rover cards with lots of info and pictures to keep your mind at ease. For these visits, the dogs can be any breed. I work from home and set my schedule, so being a Rover sitter is a nice little extra for me. It is easy to work with and around schedules. We have a large, unfenced backyard. We take dogs on nice walks around our neighborhood. We only board one dog at a time, so it feels like a family setting.

I have no problems caring for senior dogs, big dogs, active dogs, lazy dogs or puppies! I have experience managing multiple large breed dogs at the same time. I currently am unemployed as I just moved to Bremerton(to be with my girlfriend) a few weeks ago. I love dogs, they are my favorite. I treat dogs with respect and kindness. Lots of playtime, petting, and walks. If the dog is looking for attention I will give it to them. I lived with a Saint Bernard, there was no ignoring him!
About: I have been around dogs my entire life and couldn’t imagine my life without them. I have taken care of senior dogs and puppies. Would love to spend time and get to know more dogs! I am currently unemployed and only have class on Wednesdays and a school club meeting on Thursdays. Weekends are usually busy for me but Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays would probably work good. About: I’ve loved and cared for dogs my whole life. I had my own dog for 16 years, from childhood through her senior years, so I understand the responsibility, patience, and consistency dogs need at every stage of life. I regularly walked her and taught her commands like sit, shake, and roll over. As she got older and developed health conditions, I continued caring for her with patience and attention to her changing needs. I’ve also volunteered as a dog walker at the humane society and used to go with my mom when I was younger, which helped me become comfortable around dogs with different personalities and energy levels. I’ve always loved being around dogs, so this feels like the perfect side job for me while I’m home. I enjoy getting outside, staying active, and spending time with animals, and I’d love to help give your pets some extra attention, exercise, and care during the day. When caring for pets, I always try to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. During walks I keep dogs closely leashed, pay attention to our surroundings, bring water and waste bags, and make sure not to walk too far especially in hot weather or with older dogs. For drop in visits I make sure pets have fresh food and water, get attention and play time, and that everything is clean and secure before I leave. I also know how important pets are to people, so I’d always keep owners updated and send pictures when I can.

About: I owned a dog for over a decade, and babysat dogs/ cats many times. I worked with animals at a zoo so I’m good at reading them and respecting their boundaries! I work second shift (3-11pm) M-F so check ins would work best for those days. I can still dog/cat sit during the weekdays if you’re are okay with your pets being alone for a full shift, or being watched by my parents (while pets are boarded at our house). My weekends are completely open! I have a large backyard and tennis court. I also live near a very nice bike trail for long walks. I have no other animals in the house. “We connected with Jemsen so we could visit the Kohler Arts Center. Jensen was great to communicate and flexible as we didn't know our exact timing until the day of. Once a time was agreed she promptly suggested a meeting location and was punctual. I could tell immediately that our dog was handled with care. I checked in with Jensen about halfway through the stay to see how things were going and she responded immediately. She was punctual to meet at the end of the walk and brought our dog back clean and exercised. Jensen also offered some nice tips for local dog friendly outdoor dining.”
About: I’ve taken care of many types of different animals for as long as I can remember. Starting on my family’s hobby farm. We had many kinds of birds, rabbits, and dogs. Then when older I studied animal science and everyone I knew always brought their pets to me to take care of. I worked on a ranch in Texas for a number of years caring for cows, horses, exotic birds and buffalo. I’m currently working Thursday Friday and Saturday but am available anytime Sunday to Wednesday to care for your pets for anytime walks or overnights all type of pets welcome I have an outdoor kennel if needed but I like spending time with furry friends. We left our sweet Piper with Krystal for a week and Piper seemed to adjust well and was in good spirits when we picked her up.
