About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have taken care of them since I was young! I love them way more than people. I am counting down till I can have my own little pack of dogs. I’m used to dogs that pull on leashes, but it’s a plus when they’re an easy walker :) I currently am in college so whenever I don’t have classes I am completely free! Once a month for one weekend I work on a military base, but other than that I would love to spend my time with a pup! I am willing to do whatever to keep your dog’s routine normal. We have a 1 year old mixed breed dog that is very playful and happy around pretty much everyone. We met in a park near AJ’s home and he was promptly on time and communicated well. For me personally I just wanted someone that would keep my dog active and happy for the afternoon, also sneak in the occasional nap is okay too. About: At one time, we were breeders of Champion Golden Retrievers, and have raised many a pup, from small to large breeds. From Bernese to Yorkies, we love them all! Our furbabies are a Shorkie and Shih Tzu who are well behaved and make great hosts and playmates! Large pastures and trails on which to walk, so lots of exercise. About: While living in Seattle I worked for Rover doing dog boarding in my own home, at times with up to five dogs at a time. I have experience working with dogs of all ages, energy levels, and personalities, including puppies, high-energy breeds, and dogs that benefit from extra patience or routine. I’m CPR certified, experienced with enrichment-based care, and comfortable reinforcing basic training skills such as leash manners, recall, sit/down, place, and calm behavior during visits and walks. I also have experience with hunting and working breeds, so I understand the importance of both physical exercise and mental stimulation.
