About: I’ve always grown up and helped take care of family pets. I had mostly big dogs growing up. There’s no breeds that I’m really scared of or anything like that. I currently have two pets now one is a seven month Alaskan malamute and one is a one year-old domestic short hair. I only work two days a week and my job is pretty flexible so I’ll have really any time to be able to give your dog or cat all the love and attention that they need I will do what the pet parent says to do on guidance for the pet. About: Please note*** I cannot board pets where I live, all pet sitting (days and overnight) is done at your residence. Hello! I've had dogs and cats all my life. I am the type to keep my dogs active whether it be playing fetch in the yard or throwing the stick in the lake for them to fetch. I believe in lots of play toys and chewys so they never get bored. I also understand the dog who might be more calm, maybe a little shy and likes time alone, and that is very understandable. I am a retired nurse and know pretty well the signs and symptoms of pain or discomfort. I understand the importance of proper nutrition and availability of fresh water. I'm a unique pet/house sitter in that I travel in my beautiful Canadian Roadtrek Campervan and can house "watch" while taking care of your pets. I do not need to stay in your home. Any additional duties other than "watch" your house can be negotiated- like water a few houseplants, etc. I do ask that you provide a household electric (120V) outside plug in. My small RV uses approx. $2-$3 per day of electricity. I love animals. I have a 3 yr. old yellow Labrador myself! I travel often in my RV and we make great travel partners often stopping at dog parks 2-3 times a day on our adventures. Beau would love to have playmates! Currently I am mobile and spend Summers in WI and Winters in AZ. I will come to you. I can stay as long as you need for your pet care - up to 2+ weeks if needed. I can only provide mobile pet/house sitting. I am unable to pet sit in the home I live in. I am a recently retired nurse. I am trained not only in human CPR, but I also have dog and cat CPR training. I have given pets medication, induced vomiting -per instructions while on the phone with a vet tech (after dog ate 1 1/2 lbs of bing cherries - pits and all. Happy ending! :). When I go into a home I find myself scanning countertops and floors for potential hazards for pets - things like medications, foods, hot boiling water on stovetop with handles pointing out, etc... I am constantly monitoring for potential dangers. Sometimes things happen though, unfortunately, that can't be avoided and that's when first aid, CPR, poison control line, and Vet info need to all be available and handy. I ask that all instructions be written down and text/emailed to me 24 hours prior. That way if I have any questions, they can be answered before you leave on your relaxing worry-free vacation!

About: I’ve had pets in my life since I was a child. When married and had kids, we’ve always had dogs and have cared for our dogs in every aspect, walking, bathing, grooming, vet care, etc. Currently we don’t have a pet, but our house is a perfect set up to take care of yours. Currently we are retired. We would have plenty of time to go for walks, play and relax. Our dogs in the past have used our very convenient doggy door into a fenced area for potty breaks. Your dog will be treated like one of our own, getting lots of love and attention during the day and can sleep overnight in a doggy bed or crate whichever is preferred.

Working from home during summer has allowed us plenty of time to spend with our dog. We have a 5 year old Yellow Lab who still has the energy of a puppy! We also volunteer at a local goat farm and help take care of goats. I work full time out of the home, Monday-Friday, so your dog will be kenneled while we are at work. Unless it’s summer or holiday then my schedule may be different. I will do morning walks and night walks and playtime outside after and before work. We have an unfenced large yard so your pet will be leashed for playtime. We have a nice larger private backyard so plenty of space for exercise.

I have plenty of room for crates if your dog prefers to sleep in a crate, and room for doggy beds if they are particular about where they sleep. I usually work at home, but I have the ability to work anywhere there is an internet connection if you would prefer an in-home sitter. Working remote gives me the chance to be home all day where I can do potty breaks for my dogs and check on my farm animals. It also allows me to be available if there’s any special requests such as medication and specific feeding times. My cat is a “one cat” kind of guy (we’ll work on that), so for now, I would only feel comfortable hosting dogs ay my house. However, I am available to pet sit in-home for cats or dogs that might feel more comfortable at home. I’m very comfortable giving meds and sticking to a strict feeding schedule if your animal has medical/dietary needs. I’ve seen (almost) everything, so don’t feel like you’re asking too much!

About: I have a lot of experience with animals since I was 10 when I started volunteering my time at an animal rescue. I have experience from puppies all the way to senior dogs! My days are free Monday-Sunday 24/7. I do same day bookings or bookings in advance whenever you would need. I can come let the animals out for potty breaks or I can come stay with them for a longer amount of time. I do not offer care inside of my home due to my two cats who are not dog friendly. But I have no problem coming to your home and providing my services whenever needed.

About: Since childhood, I have always had a special connection with animals, always drawn to them. I have cared for cats, dogs, and other small critters since I can remember. I am now the proud owner of 4 large dogs, 5 cats, a lionhead rabbit, and fish. About: The two loves of my life were my dog, Abby, and my dog Bronx. Abby was a Siberian husky and Bronx a 15” lemon beagle. Bronx was part of my life for 20 years and just recently passed. I honestly can’t imagine a life without animals in it, and one day I wanna be able to reflect back on my life, knowing that I did as much as I could to help as many animals as possible, which is why becoming a part of ROVER is so appealing. I have an incredibly flexible work schedule that will enable me to schedule my work hours around my hours caring for animals. I truly believe that animals are every bit as important as we are, and I think pet owners will be able to rest easy, leaving their pets in my care, knowing that their health and safety will be of the utmost importance to me! I have a two-story condo that they would be able to spend most of their time in with me. I also have a heated garage that I’ve converted into a safe and comfortable area for animals to play in. In addition to that, I live in Woodbury, literally surrounded by parks, full of walking paths that will be ideal for a dogs exercise. One thing I would like pet owners to know is that I’m not doing this for the money, I’m doing this because I’m newly single and alone and can’t think of anybody better to spend my time with than animals in need. I wouldn’t just be some dog watcher, I would be their friend that plays with them and loves being with them.
