Growing up this way has been a positive learning experience that lead me to be a great dog owner. 10 years ago I adopted Sadie, my first baby. She’s a beautiful lab mix. I have learned so much in the last decade about training dogs. I’ve taken puppy training class and still use a lot of that knowledge till this day. Sadie is extremely well trained and if I could I would 100% be a dog trainer. I’m not a dog whisperer but I definitely have a good understanding of how to handle pups and adult dogs. Dogs are easily my main love, but all animals have a special place in my heart. I value the connection and constant love they show towards their owners. I treat my dog like my daughter and would love to have have more one day. It would be a pleasure to care after your family member. I work full time M-F, with the ability to stop at home during the day. Also my wife is home most Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. So we work together to let the dogs out at appropriate time and keep them on their feeding schedule. Weekends are fun times with plenty walking, hikes, swimming, and dog parks if the owner is comfortable with us doing so. We go for two to 3 walks a day with our playful lab pups. We always have dogs on leash, and we have multiple kennels for our dogs if needed.

About: I have experience caring for animals of all kinds, though I can currently only offer in-my-home care to dogs. I have always had family pets growing up. I got my own dog when I was in high school. I currently own 2 well-mannered dogs, a hunting labrador and a scent detection pit-mix. I have more than 2 years of professional gun dog training experience, and have trained over 50 puppies/dogs. I currently work from home, so I will be able to accommodate any schedule your pet may need. My own dogs recieve 2 feedings per day (5am and 5pm). We often take a morning walk (typically no less than 1-2 miles, less if I am walking a young puppy or senior dog with mobility issues). Also evening walks if weather is appropriate. I do not allow my dogs to do strenuous activity or rough play right after a meal. The yard is not fenced, so dogs will be on leash or long-line and fully supervised when outside the home. For off-lead outdoor fun we will take trips to the local dog park (not a very heavily trafficed dog park, usually empty). I have experience providing oral and subcutaneous medication to pets, should your pet need medication while in my care.

I work from home, so your pet will get lots of attention, frequent visits to the backyard, and a walk at lunchtime. I work from home full time, so I'm here to interact with your pet and provide frequent breaks for play and potty. About: I love taking care of dogs. I will walk your dog in the Spring, Summer and Fall in good weather. Your dog will have my 3 year old Maltese to play with. I’m CPR trained and if needed, with calling you first, take your dog to my home town ER hospital (hope we never need to use that). Your dog must be potty trained for outside. My grandchildren all love dogs, they visit sometimes. I have been with dogs all my life. So rest assured I’ll take care of your dog while I take care of mine and my grandchildren. About: My husband and I have been watching dogs in our home for over 10 years. Our busy lives of work and family have always held us back from owning our own dog. To satisfy our love for dogs we started watching our friends and families dogs and over the years thru word of mouth we have started getting phone calls asking if we would take on more dogs and then joined Rover. We believe that dogs should be treated as part of the family. We allow them to sit on furniture, sleep in bed etc.. Our jobs have afford us the ability to be able to adjust our schedules to be flexible and have the option to work from home when we have a dog staying with us. This allows us to be home with your dog to ensure they are getting plenty of play time, outside time and lots of attention. It is very rare that your dog will be home alone for a period of time. Our home is your dogs home... we give the dogs full access to the house. We are non smokers and do not have any pets of our own or small children. We walk the dogs twice a day and have an acre of land that dogs are free to roam, run and play -we like to play ball and tug a rope. We do provide a ground stake with a leash for those that like to run "free". We have ability to work from home and have very flexible schedules when needed. Which in turn allows us to very rarely leave your dog home alone We treat the dogs just as if they were our very own pet.. as part of the family. They have free range of the house .. on the furniture and beds.

About: I grew up with farm cats and dogs in the house, and as an adult I’ve cared for fish and a lovebird named Taylor. I currently have three rescue cats and a rescue Corgi, Maggie. My pets range from 5 to 12 years old, so I’m comfortable caring for animals at different stages of life. Maggie came to me a year and a half ago weighing 59 pounds—nearly twice her healthy weight. She’s now down to 38 pounds, and watching her become healthier, happier, and more energetic has been incredibly rewarding. About: Since I was little I have always loved animals, I feel that I have a unique connection with them. From 10 years old. In Ecuador, I was taking care of dogs. The neighbors have trusted me for the attention I gave their pets, for playing with them, etc. But since I arrived in the United States I have not been able to continue with that hobby. I took care of the dogs of the owner of the house where he lived for 6 years, giving him all the love, patience and daily attention he needed. I don't have much real experience with food, walking and bathing. I am reliable, friendly and treat everyone like a family. I am available from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday mornings until 10 a.m. and in the afternoon from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays only in the mornings until 11 p.m. My first language is Spanish but I don't speak English very well or fluently, I know basic things but I understand most of them. I give food and water on time. I walk them, play a little and keep everything clean. I tell the owner how it goes with photos.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old and have a passion for giving them the best life! I will treat your pet as my own, making sure they are well taken care of and happy. I'm always ready and willing to go for walks, give them approved treats, lots of play time and willing to give them medicines if needed as well! I am available most of the time!! I can be available for early morning walks, afternoon potty breaks, or weekend runs around the block! Pets are a huge priority in my life and I will make your pet one of my biggest priorities. Retired after 26 years of working in law enforcement and am much happier spending my days helping with pets. I have a very open and flexible availability. About: I have owned and watch dogs but also cats. I have a love for animals and I get very excited meeting new ones. It’s the best experience to me. I’m available anytime. I would be able to do last minute set ups. I’m sometimes away from home around 2-4 pm but that’s not often Everyone in the house loves animals, especially dogs. The most love is given like their our own. We get very excited and take them out for long walks. My dog has been around puppies before and he loves to be around other dogs.

Kristin has two young boys and they immediately began playing with Carmen on the floor. She was wagging her tail furiously as she enjoyed every minute of their attention.
