“Cheryl and Josh were great with our dog, Goldie. She got a lot of walks and we know she got a lot of attention and love. She came home exhausted. 😅 We will definitely trust Cheryl and Josh again for future dog watching!”

“Our Linus had such an enjoyable time with Mary! He was comfortable with her from the minute he walked in the door! Mary made it so easy for us too! She had so many toys, blankets, bowls, leash etc, it made preparing for his stay a breeze! Mary's love for dogs is evident and her caring nature made it easy to know we were leaving our baby in good hands!! Wish I could give her more than 5 stars!! She is the BEST!”

“My dog had a wonderful time at this house and I received many pictures of her having fun. The family was also accommodating to our needs when we had some trouble getting back at the time we predicted.”

“I can’t say enough great things about Monique! I reached out at the last minute, and she was incredibly responsive, flexible, and accommodating. From the moment we connected, I felt confident that my pup was in great hands. Not only did Joy have a fantastic time, but I also received regular updates, photos, and messages that showed just how much care and attention she was getting. It was clear that she genuinely loves dogs and treats them like family. When I picked up Joy, she was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. I’m so grateful for the peace of mind and the excellent service. I would absolutely recommend Monique to anyone looking for a reliable, kind, and professional sitter and I’ll definitely be booking again! Thank you so much! 🐾”

“Our pup had a great stay with Rebecca and Matthew! I was really looking for a home with a family that would interact with her regularly, meet her high energy needs and be able to have her in a calm, family environment ~ they were excellent in providing our pup with everything we were hoping for, and they truly went above and beyond! We are so pleased with her stay; with it being our first Rover experience, we were very relieved with the overall experience, and highly recommend Rebecca and her family.”

“Ryan was very communicative with us during the time our two dogs stayed with him, and sent pictures over as well. The dogs were happy when we picked them up. I can tell that they were well taken care of when we were away. Thank you Ryan!”

“April and family were amazing! I was nervous at first, however quickly was at ease with all the updates and photos I received. They treated Allie like family and she looked so happy hanging out with them I wasn’t sure she would want to come home! Hahaha”

“Christiana and her family took excellent care of Nola while we were away. She sent daily pics & updates which made us feel at ease that Nola was being well taken care of and enjoying her stay. We will definitely have Nola stay again! ❤️”

“Cari and her family did a wonderful job taking care of Russell. He got lots of walks, plenty of play time, and tons of snuggles. He especially liked playing with the girls. Will definitely use her again.”

“Thee Best Sitter out there. Partner has stayed with Doreen many times now. He loves it there. He's always excited. Doreen is just the kindest person you'll ever me. She treats our pets as if they're her own. Cannot say enough good things about her. Thank you so much.”

“As always, Kiki was in great care while we went away for a few days. We never have to worry because we know she is happy and in a safe and loving home with Maria & Nayibe. Thank you for taking such great care of Kiki!!”

“Yolanda and her family did a wonderful job with Gizmo. It was our first time leaving him for a week and with someone through Rover. Yolanda's patience, kindness, and experience brought me relief knowing that my dog was in great hands. She did everything possible to calm my anxiety-ridden fur baby and made him comfortable; kept me updated and was responsive; sent me photos; and was very easy/flexible to work with. By the end of the week, Gizmo was playing with other dogs and taking long walks twice a day, which he never does! He's been home for almost 24 hours and I can tell he misses Yolanda, but mostly, he's been sleeping like a baby. LOL. I couldn't thank Yolanda and her family enough. I finally found someone who was willing to take in my dog and refused to give up on him even when times were hard. I highly recommend her services! I've found my FOREVER dog sitter :) Thank you again Yolanda!!”

About: I have over 10 years pet care experience, 7 of which I have been specifically focusing on dog training. Understanding the minds of dogs and how they think requires a degree of skill and patience, along with consistent application of training techniques. This knowledge of how dogs thinks, interact, and behave helps in every aspect of dog care in itself. It makes every individual pet special because dogs have their own unique personalities, and being able to tap into that and create a bond is different from dog to dog. This is one of the best parts of taking care of people’s pets! Any of your specific needs and accommodations will be met and/or exceeded when in my care, guaranteed! My wife Teal is home every day for any assistance in care for your dogs and we are both committed to giving the most comfortable and enjoyable stay for your dogs! Trusting someone with these members of our family can be stressful and hard to do at times. I understand better than anyone that giving my pets up to someone can be daunting task. We need to trust our pets are given the same care they get at home and are loved like one of our own. In this household we have 2 cats and 2 dogs. There is nothing more important than treating your dog equally as good as one of our own. Between my wife and myself the pets we care for will receive our undivided attention and compassion. We incorporate tons of engagement and interactive play time. We are sure to see that these pets aren’t just alone and disregarded. My wife and myself strive to have an environment where animals can have a stress free and fun loving home to reside in till their owners make it back to them. Rest assured that I have been caring for dogs for many years, and training dogs for close to 7 now. You will not find a more loving and compassionate place for your dog than right here!

I have had dogs all my life and I have taken care of my friends and families dogs while they were away as well. I know all the best parks in town and will have them exploring every inch! About: I've had my own cats since I was 11. Have had a total of 10 cats. Currently have 5 with my fiance. Ive had a few that have had some health issues and also have needed to administer meds for years. One of my cats I found in a local bar in 2010, she was pregnant and we had 4 healthy kittens. I still have the mom to this day! Write this better for rover Here’s a polished, Rover-friendly version that sounds warm, trustworthy, and professional: I’ve been a dedicated cat owner since I was 11 years old and have cared for a total of 10 cats over the years. Currently, my fiancé and I share our home with 5 cats, so I’m very comfortable managing multiple pets and their unique personalities. I also have experience caring for cats with health issues, including administering medications long-term, so I understand the patience and attentiveness that requires. One of my most special experiences was rescuing a pregnant cat I found in a local bar in 2010. She went on to have four healthy kittens, and I’m proud to say I still have the mom to this day! Caring for her and her kittens from the very beginning deepened my love and commitment to animals. I truly treat every pet as if they were my own and understand how important it is to provide them with safe, loving, and attentive care.

“Grace is amazing! Very friendly & upbeat. She is quick in responding to messages & very flexible with scheduling our dog sitting. She is also very patient in getting to know our sometimes difficult rescue, Bingo.”

About: With around five years of hands-on experience in dog care, I’ve developed a deep understanding of how to give dogs the attention, patience, and love they deserve. For three years, I walked and sat for a dog every other day for elderly owners, which taught me how to connect with dogs of all temperaments and needs. In addition, I’ve raised my own Golden Doodle from 8 weeks old to 1.5 years. It wasn’t always easy, but through calmness, steady emotions, and consistent training, I’ve shaped her into the most loving, gentle, and sweet dog I know. I understand the importance of being gentle and patient, staying calm even in challenging situations, and creating a stress-free environment for dogs so they feel safe and comfortable. With me, your dog will get the best care possible, built on experience and a true passion for their well-being. As someone who manages an outdoor pool, my schedule is structured around peak hours, but I’ve found a perfect balance to incorporate pet care into my routine. I have flexibility during the early mornings, evenings, and off-peak hours, which allows me to give your dog the attention they deserve. Whether it’s taking them for walks, playing in the yard, or simply providing companionship, I make sure that pet care fits seamlessly into my day. My commitment to providing reliable and loving care never interferes with my responsibilities as a pool manager, as I’ve carefully arranged my schedule to meet both needs. Rest assured, your dog will receive the best of both worlds! When caring for your pet, whether in my home or yours, safety, trust, and environment are my top priorities. I always ensure a secure space, free from hazards, and follow all instructions regarding your dog’s routine, medications, and preferences to keep them comfortable and safe. I understand the trust you place in me, and I’m committed to building a strong relationship with your dog, treating them with the same love and care I would give my own. Whether in my home or yours, I create a calm and enjoyable environment, providing plenty of outdoor playtime and relaxation. My goal is to ensure your dog feels happy, secure, and loved, whether they’re in the comfort of their own home or mine. If they were to be at my home, they would get a very friendly play mate (my Goldendoodle 😊).

About: I have had experience taking care of dogs for over 20 years from my own dogs to neighbors and friends/family. I love to take them on walks, runs, play and stay active during the day. I grew up with two boxers and currently have two dogs of my own; a large puppy GSP and a smaller boxer mix that I love and spoil immensely. I'm fairly available and am very knowledgeable about dietary, health and grooming of dogs. I am one who cares for every wound and itch and urged to play that my furs have had. I have had to take care of wounds from outdoor sticks, ticks, nail breakage, teeth and have no fear with any. I am overly devoted to the health of my dogs and treat others I am watching the same.

“Abby was punctual, friendly, courageous and overall the perfect sitter! I have a giant Great Dane, an anxious, people selective dachshund and a cat that gets into everything but she handled it like a pro! highly recommend her.”

About: I have grown up around dogs my whole life and I've had my first (adult life) dog for three and a half year. Wila Rose is an Australian Cattle Dog mix. About a year and a half ago we added another rescue, Buckley Quinn. He is a smart but goofy boy. They both go backpacking with us and we do a lot of hiking on our local public land areas. We enjoy playing around in our yard with our limited dog agility set and learning new tricks. We occasionally go swimming but love jumping and exploring new water areas and hiking trails. Wila and Buckley are a huge part of my life. We enjoy hiking, being outdoor, and traveling as much as possible. We do quite a but of training included but not limited to: agility, scent training, shed training, and just some fun party tricks. I am new to Rover so please feel free to reach out with any questions. I have an acre of land (not fenced in). We love to go on walks and sniffaris at our local parks. Buckley loved to play with other dogs and Wila is more of a people dog. They even loves to go backpacking and hiking which often include 10+ miles a day.
About: I have had pets all my life. I have 5 of my own dogs of various shape and size and foster for a couple different rescues! I am very flexible, I'm available most of the time and love to meet new pets. I try to fit the needs of pet owners where I can. I don’t plan on doing any home care. “Emma was great, she went above & beyond to make sure Indagos stay was great! She's so good with him. I'm so thankful she likes him & Indago liked her. I was worried being a blue healer with lots of energy. Only God could provide such a great dog sitter for him. 💛🐕💛”

“We had a sudden dinner invitation come up and needed a baby sitter on short notice. Based on previous reviews, I reached out to Mary. She was quick to respond and also flexible with the drop off and pick up time. We were on time, but her attitude made us relaxed and we were not stressed out that we will be late or early by 10-15 mins. Anya had a wonderful time and based on the pictures that Mary sent us, Anya took a liking to her whole family. Seeing how happy Anya was, made it easier for us and we will definitely reach out to Mary for future baby sitting.”

“My favorite pet sitters! Maria & Nayibe are so kind and truly foster a comfortable environment for the animals. My dog always has a great time and I trust them wholeheartedly with his care.”

I recently rescued a senior dog with a lot of anxiety so I have experience working with nervous dogs. I would love to take care of your dog and treat them like my own. I am currently available any time during the week to let your dog out or take them for a walk. I am home during the day with my dog so I have lots of flexibility. A big part of dog care is adapting to the dog. I know each dog is different with their own set of needs. My goals is to adjust to each dog I work with to make them feel safe and loved.
“We reached out to Jessica to watch our (at the time) 9 week old goldendoodle puppy named Noodle and she has been fantastic with him! A little story to illustrate my point - when we first got our puppy, my fiance wanted him to stay home in a playpen while we were working and I insisted we hire a sitter. Now every time we take Noodle outside, he tries to take himself on a walk! It is obvious he loves his time with Jessica and she is great at communicating with us and reinforcing the training techniques we're working on. We will continue to book with Jessica as long as she will put up with Noodle.”

About: I have been around dogs my whole life and am now a proud owner for the past 1.5 years! I’m around 1-2 times throughout a typical work day to let my puppy out. She rules this house so no furniture or beds are off limits, which is extended to all the dogs that come into my home (I’ve recently become the extended family dog sitter due to my work schedule). Monday’s-Thursdays I am home 1-2 times during the typical work day for about a half hour each time. Fridays and weekends I’m typically home most of the day, maybe running errands here and there. Allie rules the house here! She is allowed on furniture and beds and this would extend to your baby too. We spend a lot of time outside with water always available and I’m always out with her. We have tons of toys and she doesn’t mind sharing them.
About: As far as experience goes there isn’t a time in my life I remember that I wasn’t caring for an animal. From reptiles, to rodents, to cats and dogs, I’ve had them all. From a young age I was taught responsibility and discipline when it came to caring for tiny creatures. Additionally for over two years I volunteered weekly at a local animal shelter. During this time I gained knowledge as to how animals interacted with one another, how to properly administer medication, warning signs to look out for, what to do in emergencies, and deeply studied animal behavior. To add on to that I am currently employed at a doggie daycare. During my time here not only have I gotten to widen my horizons when it came to taking care of animals but I have learned hands on how to bandage a wound, what to do in animal confrontations as well as how to handle the unexpected such as sickness or seizures. Additionally over the last 3 years I have volunteered at different animal welfare programs across the globe. These include Portugal, Puerto Rico, Tanzania and soon Hawaii. During this time I have not only seen hands on other cultures way of taking care of animals but also gained knowledge as to how to better the animal care I provide to clients. As I previously stated I currently am employed at a doggie daycare. Additionally I work at a bakery as well. My schedule changes weekly so it can be hard to give an exact time frame when booking. Typically I work up to 8 hour shifts. I typically prefer to stay in clients homes to keep their pets safe and happy in their own environment. I will be there in the morning before work, and will immediately come back when I get off as well as being there at night. I try to spend as much time as possible with the pets while you are away I typically only offer staying in the clients home and I am comfortable crating animals while gone. I always keep things like medications safely out of reach and secured. Additionally upon booking I typically ask about any health notes, allergies, or special needs as well as a good contact number for your vet in case of emergency.

“Cheryl and Josh were great with our dog, Goldie. She got a lot of walks and we know she got a lot of attention and love. She came home exhausted. 😅 We will definitely trust Cheryl and Josh again for future dog watching!”

Hahaha”

“We felt very comfortable leaving our furry family member with Marie and her family! Marie did a great job sending pics and providing daily updates. Grace got lots of walks, treats and love! We’ll definitely be requesting Marie again.”

“Brittni & family were the best dog family we could ever ask for! Luna got along great with their dogs and kids. Brittni sent pictures of Luna with the family and out on walks. Highly recommend!”

“Mr. Beans loved the big back yard and super dog friendly home. Denise was accommodating with drop off and pick up times. I would love for Mr. Beans to be a "regular" at Denise's house.”

“Amazing. Communicated daily and sent lots of pictures. She made adjustments to help my dog eat while being in a new environment. Will definitely be rebooking.”
