“Please read! I will be there first to admit I was skeptical of using Rover. I carefully scanned through profiles of those willing to watch the two dogs we have, a Great Dane and a boxer. Cilyr was so much more than we could have asked for! She and I agreed having a meet and greet prior was a great choice to make sure the dogs would have an easier transition. Cilyr went to every length to ensure she had asked questions we may not have thought of: do the dogs have allergies? Require specific routines? But I was really blown away when she brought to my attention that she does not have a truck large enough for our Great Dane in the event he would need to get to a vet emergently however, she has already arranged with a friend and neighbor that she could borrow theirs should an emergency arise. I knew at that moment She was that absolutely perfect choice to watch our dogs. This was not just a” side gig” for her, she genuinely cares so much for animals and helping others! When I brought the boys back for their week long stay they took about a day and a half to fully adjust. I know this because Cilyr went above and beyond to make sure I knew the boys were doing well and sent pictures! It was so heartwarming to get those little messages and pictures and know our boys were in great hands. Through those pictures you could see our dogs easing into their day and feeling safe and loved. Before we had even returned from our vacation we had discussed that we will hands down take our dogs back to her any time we need to leave them. About: I am a 19 years old and have grown up loving animals since day one. I am a very energetic person that absolutely loves to play with animals of all sorts. I am just as comfortable being outside with a Great Dane as I am being indoor with a five pound cat. I have a plethora of experience walking all sizes and breeds of dogs as well. I have no problem taking a leisure walk in the park or going for a run with dogs that want to try to keep up. I have been to multiple different dog training classes with my own dog. For dogs that are interested in staying at my house I have plenty of space in my home and in my yard to run around and have a blast. About: I regularly care for a family friend’s two cats. When looking after cats, I always make sure that they have fresh food and water, that their surroundings are clean, that they are healthy and behaving normally, and that I check on them through the day. I also make sure to play with them everyday for about an hour, depending on how much they like to play, either once or twice a day. I pay attention to their moods and activities to make sure that they are not only happy but also entertained, without overdoing it. About: My very first job was working at a family owned boarding and grooming kennel. I started when I was 14 years old and worked there through college. About: Hello everyone! I’ve taken care of my personal pets my entire life, growing up with labs and vizslas and then adopting 3 pups of my own! My husband and I love dogs so much we recently started fostering as well! I’ve been working for rover for over 9 years now and absolutely love meeting and giving love and attention to pets of all kinds. My husband recently moved back to Wisconsin after living in Colorado for the last 7 years. Julie was clear that her dog Zilla's comfort with Ollie was a priority, which I fully support. I won't want to trust my dog to someone who isn't looking out for ALL the dogs involved. Julie was very responsive with messages, showed us around her home and yard and was generally very calm and patient. While the dogs didn't end up getting along well enough for this to work out long term, Ollie warmed up to Julie and was definitely as calm as I've seen him after being left.”

I enjoy spending my time with furry friends. I'm a in-home caregiver to my mom so I have lots of time to take care of your pet. I have weekly events on Sundays and Wednesdays, but can easily work around those times. I have a long line for when your pet is outside and lots of patio seating to supervise and play with your pet the whole time. I also have a crate for indoor use.

About: I’ve grown up in a household that has always had at least two dogs, usually 3. We also have 3 indoor-outdoor cats. I am now a student at UW Madison, and I have a 5yr old heeler shepherd mix. Throughout her life I have trained her for obedience and herding, and have dealt with low confidence and reactivity with her daily. I am experienced with dogs who are shy and tend to be reactive. I have a part time internship at UW Madison, so I have partially and completely free days every week. That being said, I will have plenty of time to make house visits around this schedule. I have experience training dogs and love hanging out with any breed of dog. I believe dogs need both mental and physical stimulation in order to be fulfilled.
