“This was a perfect location in the country near our family reunion. Kennel was clean, Erika was very welcoming, followed all of our wishes, stayed in touch regularly, sent video, and Sheppy acted calm and seemed to have enjoyed his stay with other dogs. He is an escape artist so Erika made sure there was an extra lock on the door so he could not let himself out. “What can I say? Melissa was amazing. Needed a sitter for our Weimaraner at the last minute. Needed to leave town for family reasons. Called the usual suspects. They gave me the dog and pony show. No pun. Ridiculous what you got to go through to board your dog these days. A few of my friends and customers recommended Rover. I went on there and checked it out. In about 30 minutes from first seeing it, to signing up, I had already booked Melissa to watch our dog Kaiser. I arranged to bring him over, and she couldn't have been any more sweet. I can really tell that she loves animals. Very cool chick too. Our dog was in good hands the couple days he was there. When we got him back, he was well rested, and had none of the anxiety boarding can bring on. About: Cats have always been my favorite animals, despite working with just about every domestic animal. Grumpy cats (my personal favorite- I love a challenge!), playful kittens, Velcro cats, they’re all so fun to interact with. I’ve grown up taking care of cats, and have an almost annoying amount of knowledge about them. I am experienced in medicating especially difficult cats, and I can trim nails as well!
About: My family and I had a dog of our own for about 13 years during my childhood, allowing me to gain experience in feeding, training, and walking dogs. Now that she has sadly passed away, I would love to give other pets the same love I am no longer able to give to my own pet. I currently work part-time and have plenty of time to smother your pets with my love! Late mornings and early afternoons are the times that typically work best for me, but I am flexible and willing to try anything! I will only allow pets that are fine being outside because my house does not allow pets indoors. I have a large yard surrounded by fields in a rural area where pets are free to roam in sight as long as they’re well-trained.

About: I have 2 dogs and love talking them on walks during the week. I’ve also volunteered at the humane society helping to care for the animals. I work part time at Kwik Trip during the week from 9 am until 12 pm so I’m available to walk dogs anytime after 12 pm during the week. I don’t work on the weekend but anytime after 12 pm works best for me to walk dogs on the weekend. I have 2 dogs and they love other dogs. There’s a dog park in Green Bay that I visit and a trail in Green Bay that I love walking my dogs on.
About: We love caring for dogs! We have 2 dogs, both turning 2 in July. They both love all animals. We are experienced with cats and dogs. I would prefer dogs with experience with cats but they are fairly savvy and we have safe places within our home for them if needed. We work full time but we are available during weekends. We can be available for most weekend nights and kennel if needed during the week. Our home is extremely dog friendly. Fenced in backyard, many toys. Our home is their home! About: Please read the entire profile. I did grow up with a Dalmatian dog. My dad was a firefighter, and came home with Pepper Christmas morning. My sister had a mini goldendoodle. I would stop daily after work around 3:45pm to play and take walks. I took a separation package from my employer 5/1/25 and now would like to offer walks, daycare, drop in visits and boarding . With boarding, For larger dogs, they WILL be crated at night. Your dog will be crated when I play pickleball in the mornings. I do have a crate(s). Please note if sending a request there may be a delay in responding due to pickleball between 9:30 - 12:30 approximate times. I currently have two dog walking appointments from 11:45am -1:45pm Monday-Thursday. Having retired 5/1/25, I have the time to provide loving care, playtime and walks with your pet. I will provide pictures and updates to you. No fence but can play fetch in the front/backyard or take your dog to dog park if they are ok with it. Please provide details or special needs. About: Dog parent almost entire life-usually medium to XL dogs. I am new to SE Florida and happy to help other dog families as Rover has always helped me. Fenced yard. I have a lab mix and he does well with other dogs. Will only host one dog at a time. I am always at home! About: I owned a dog for over a decade, and babysat dogs/ cats many times. I worked with animals at a zoo so I’m good at reading them and respecting their boundaries! I work second shift (3-11pm) M-F so check ins would work best for those days. I can still dog/cat sit during the weekdays if you’re are okay with your pets being alone for a full shift, or being watched by my parents (while pets are boarded at our house). My weekends are completely open! I have a large backyard and tennis court. I also live near a very nice bike trail for long walks. I have no other animals in the house. I have ramps for small/old dogs.
About: I have several years of caring for many breeds of dogs. German Shepherds, Golden Retrievers, Pugs, mixed breeds, Golden Doodles, Retriever mix, Chugs. I have been honored to have several dogs that have lived into their senior years. Most recently taking care of my 15 year old Retriever mix. I’m currently working as a teacher. I am available evening and weekends. Come, June I will be available during the weekdays to care for your puppy, adult dog, or senior dog. I will provide your best friend with love and attention. We have a 12 year old Chug that just lost her best friend, Buster this spring at the age of 15. She would love some company.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs, I know nothing other than dogs. Raised both boys and girls. Currently, raising a 105 lb., 3 year old red gold retriever Mowgli and loving it. He plays well with others! Until further notice, I’m open at all hours of the day. I usually start my day around 5 am to about 9 pm per my puppy’s routine. However, open to any at the time being. I am taking a short leave from my full time position. My home is a family home we’ve grown up in the last seven years or so- plush grass, friendly dog neighbors, friendly neighbors, a lot of exercise in walking (I’ve gone as far as a half marathon once, not saying that’s the plan though unless you’re looking to train for a half marathon of course… lol)
About: I have had dogs since I was a child. I adore all animals but dogs hold a special place in my heart. I have fostered puppies and dogs which included medication administration. I have a senior dog myself now and have been adapting his care to adhere to his age. I have trained puppies before with potty training, teething, and walking on a leash. I work full time during the week but have a fairly flexible schedule. Primarily available on the weekends to love and care for your pets. I have a fenced in yard and two friendly dogs. I have a crate if needed. I will respect and follow any instructions when caring for your fur babies in your home. I will love and treat them like my own.

Kennel was clean, Erika was very welcoming, followed all of our wishes, stayed in touch regularly, sent video, and Sheppy acted calm and seemed to have enjoyed his stay with other dogs. He is an escape artist so Erika made sure there was an extra lock on the door so he could not let himself out. “What can I say? Melissa was amazing. Needed a sitter for our Weimaraner at the last minute. Needed to leave town for family reasons. Called the usual suspects. They gave me the dog and pony show. No pun. Ridiculous what you got to go through to board your dog these days. A few of my friends and customers recommended Rover. I went on there and checked it out. In about 30 minutes from first seeing it, to signing up, I had already booked Melissa to watch our dog Kaiser. I arranged to bring him over, and she couldn't have been any more sweet. I can really tell that she loves animals. Very cool chick too. Our dog was in good hands the couple days he was there. When we got him back, he was well rested, and had none of the anxiety boarding can bring on. It's great to know I have someone that I can rely on if we leave town for any reason to watch after our pooch. I couldn't recommend her anymore. Thank you!”
