My dad was a firefighter, and came home with Pepper Christmas morning. My sister had a mini goldendoodle. I would stop daily after work around 3:45pm to play and take walks. I took a separation package from my employer 5/1/25 and now would like to offer walks, daycare, drop in visits and boarding . During your boarding, Larger dog's WILL be crated at night. Your dog will be crated when I play pickleball in the mornings. I do have a crate(s). About: I’m the type of person who goes to a party and makes friends with the dog. My friends know I’m around when they see a blanket covering up their sleeping pup. My family has nicknamed me dog girl because I take on the challenge of caring for all of them during family functions. About: I've cared for all kinds of pets, mainly dogs and cats - all sizes and breeds. Most recently, I traveled to the southwest, house sitting the winter in CA, AZ and NM. Each extended stay (2-3 weeks each) included caring for dogs and keeping their routine (feeding/watering, cleaning up after, daily walks, play time & grooming), and maintaining the household (water plants/garbage pickup/mail collection, etc.) for 3 months. Some needed medication, in which I'm comfortable with (instructions required) and some had minor behavioral issues, but all manageable. “This was the first time using Rover and had a great experience with Holly and her family. We had 11 days reserved that turned into 12 due to a flight cancellation which Holly was able to accommodate. Once we came home, Max, my pup, went right to bed which means he was one tired pup. I’m sure the 3 dogs Holly has kept him going 24/7. Holly sent daily touch bases with pics throughout our trip which is all we were basically looking for. We hope to start to traveling more and Holly will be first on the Rover list.”

“Our one year old Bernese mountain dog, Maize, spent four nights with Jeff. She is curious, loves to be outside and check out new smells. His yard was perfect for her! Jeff was perfect for her. He took her on walks and gave her plenty of time to explore his backyard. Maizie was exhausted and slept the whole afternoon when we brought her home. I'm sure she was dreaming about her new friend. Super Experience! We already have another time booked.”
“Denise and her family were great with my dog Mason. She kept communication with me the whole stay and sent a lot of pictures of Mason with her kids and their dog. It made my time away much more relaxing knowing Mason was being well taken care of. Would definitely recommend Denise and her family to anyone!”

“We loved working with Kimberly. She watched our dog for the first time and suggested a meet and greet to make sure she was a good fit with her own dog. We loved that and it made us trust her from the start. When we met her, Kimberly asked us many questions about our dog that made us feel like she would take very good care of her. Also, Kimberly’s home is quite literally the perfect set up for dogs. We know that our dog loved staying there and we enjoyed the updates Kimberly sent us throughout her stay. We will definitely be using her again in the future!”
