“Amber was amazing! Her and her family helped take great care of my 3 month old pup for a few days while we were in the process of moving. She was super accommodating and helpful, taking him in just hours after us contacting her very last minute while stressed trying to figure out what to do with him. Taking in his “puppy shenanigans” and all like he was one of her own. Amber made sure to keep me updated about how his was doing helping to ease my mind of having him away from home for the first time. Sending me pictures/videos and messages about how his day was going. She also took the time to make sure that my pup was comfortable and entertained. Taking him on walks and being able to run around and play in the yard. Letting him go at his own pace and doing what made him feel safe when he didn’t like the rain or was was scared by her dog at first (he wasn’t the biggest one around anymore and couldn’t terrorize/annoy every living thing like he normally likes to do). She even went the extra mile to wash his bed after an accident over night and have him and all of his stuff packed up nicely and ready to go for me when I got there. My little boy loved playing with her and her family. And having the other dogs around for him to interact with was a bonus. When I tell you he was so excited when he first met them that I didn’t even get a second look over the shoulder or a goodbye before he took off to play with one of the kids ? (I’m still emotionally processing his betrayal ?). I could not recommend Amber enough! Your pet will be greatly taken care of (Not to mention worn out….he’s been napping since the moment we put him in the car) and all of your worries will fade the moment you get there.”

About: I have grown up with all kinds of animals, dogs being the main one. Love carin for dogs and always making them feel loved, even when owners may have to be away. What better way to spoil your pet then to make sure they have a great day too! I am the kind of person that would go to a party and hang out with the dog. I have excoerience in caring for both people and animals and hope that I may be able to help care for more. I will always be focused on what you are looking for for your dog and making sure that they get the time and love they deserve each day. Hope to talk to you soon. ? ❤️ We are a working household but have staggered start and end times so very little time is left alone. During that time dogs can remain out if possible or can be crated. Our dogs are crate trained for this time as well, though not always done. We have two friendly, though large dogs to keep yours company. We also have 2 cats, but can be placed in a different area of the house as needed. Have 2 meal times per day and can adjust to fit needs. Always have water available and frequent outside time.
“Meghan and her loving family were so sweet, gentle, and loving to our dog Nolo. He is a sweet dog but also quite human-like in his peculiarities. They welcomed him in and he immediately knew he was staying with them. He looked back with hesitation as I left him in the arms of 6 petting hands. He watched TV with the family and laid under the dinging table and on the couch!! He naturally received a beauty treatment and hair brushing with ease. I could see he felt right at home. About: I have been around dogs my whole life and am now a proud owner for the past 1.5 years! I’m around 1-2 times throughout a typical work day to let my puppy out. She rules this house so no furniture or beds are off limits, which is extended to all the dogs that come into my home (I’ve recently become the extended family dog sitter due to my work schedule). Monday’s-Thursdays I am home 1-2 times during the typical work day for about a half hour each time. Fridays and weekends I’m typically home most of the day, maybe running errands here and there. Allie rules the house here! She is allowed on furniture and beds and this would extend to your baby too. We spend a lot of time outside with water always available and I’m always out with her. We have tons of toys and she doesn’t mind sharing them.

I currently rent a duplex that has a fenced backyard, and also have a spare bedroom and wire kennel if needed. About: I have grown up around dogs my whole life and I've had my first (adult life) dog for three and a half year. Wila Rose is an Australian Cattle Dog mix. About a year and a half ago we added another rescue, Buckley Quinn. He is a smart but goofy boy. They both go backpacking with us and we do a lot of hiking on our local public land areas. We enjoy playing around in our yard with our limited dog agility set and learning new tricks. We occasionally go swimming but love jumping and exploring new water areas and hiking trails. Wila and Buckley are a huge part of my life. We enjoy hiking, being outdoor, and traveling as much as possible. We do quite a but of training included but not limited to: agility, scent training, shed training, and just some fun party tricks. I am new to Rover so please feel free to reach out with any questions. I have an acre of land (not fenced in). We love to go on walks and sniffaris at our local parks. Buckley loved to play with other dogs and Wila is more of a people dog. They even loves to go backpacking and hiking which often include 10+ miles a day.

My family and I would always bring in and care for fosters and strays, along with our own. Learning to train pups at such a young age has made it one of my biggest passions. I understand that every dog is different and it's all about learning who they are. I adapt and adjust to any dogs needs until they are happy and comfortable. Of course playtime is great but I will also inforce balance by having them do tricks and giving rewards. I believe in positive reinforcement and encouraging them to be their best furry selves. I will truly love your pet like my own. I do have a dog of my own named lexus. She is a rescue so she can be a little wary of strangers but is never shy around another furry friend! She has been socialized all of her life and loves to run and play. She understands social cues very well so if the other dog is uninterested in playing she will leave them alone. If Lexus and your dog meet I'm sure they will be best of friends! Whether it's just a walk or they stay a few nights I cant wait to meet your pup! My schedule is very flexible. I am a stay at home mom, photographer, mua and an artist. I am open to last minute scheduling if needed or scheduling something further in advance. Something consistent and on going would be preferred but if it’s just a one time thing that is okay with me as well! For walks we will go on a walk around the block. If needed we will work on not pulling the leash. For a boarding visit I will get them all set up and comfortable in my house. If it’s nice out we will go for a walk and play outside. Playing indoors as well and working on tricks they know or maybe learning a new one. Potty breaks will be provided whenever needed and food will be given as directed.

About: I’m a huge dog lover and I’m living in a non pet friendly apartment so I need some puppy time. I love the outdoors, so getting your dog outside is the best of both worlds for me. I make sure that my cats home environment is safe for them to roam and not get into too much mischief. Water bowls are cleaned. Food is rotated. About: I myself have 5 rats, otherwise my family has owned so many animals over the years. Like pigs, many dogs, cats, birds, and more! Personally, I thrive on communication and respect. I will always ask questions if I don't understand something and always try to make things right. I am a part-time college student, currently unemployed but searching for a job. So I have a LOT of free time, I barely have any dead set plans and when I do they aren't full-day. Fitting animals more into my life will help me be flexible and caring. Ill be able to strengthen my knowledge in each and every type of animal I'll come across and be able to care for them how they need it. I always clean up after pets, especially if theres a kennel, backyard area, and litter boxes. I'm willing to clean floors, and do tidying aswell. About: Had cats all my life and dogs for last 12 years. Animals have a sixth sense about people and I'm one of those they seek out for rubs, cuddles, playtime, snacks and love... I'm not currently working so I'm available for any time through the remainder of this April within 30 miles of my town. Once I'm working full time again I will be available evenings closer to home and all times on the weekends. I'm also available for overnights at your location and can leave for work from anywhere. I will only be able to care for pets at your home as we currently have 2 cats (one who is very persnickedy) and a senior dog rescue who is going blind and is afraid of everyone.

I understand the importance of giving your pet attention while you’re gone, since they could be stressed with the change in routine! I’m a farm girl at heart! As long as I have access to Wi-Fi I can work from anywhere! I am comfortable with crate training if your pet needs it. About: I have always had dogs in the household ever since I was born. More specifically my family had my sister and I grow up around Black Labs the entirety of my life. Neighbors as well as my immediate family have relied on me to take care of their animals. Whether it be a short walk or staying with them for an extended period of time, I was their guy! “Amber was amazing! Her and her family helped take great care of my 3 month old pup for a few days while we were in the process of moving. She was super accommodating and helpful, taking him in just hours after us contacting her very last minute while stressed trying to figure out what to do with him. Taking in his “puppy shenanigans” and all like he was one of her own. Amber made sure to keep me updated about how his was doing helping to ease my mind of having him away from home for the first time. Sending me pictures/videos and messages about how his day was going. She also took the time to make sure that my pup was comfortable and entertained. Taking him on walks and being able to run around and play in the yard. Letting him go at his own pace and doing what made him feel safe when he didn’t like the rain or was was scared by her dog at first (he wasn’t the biggest one around anymore and couldn’t terrorize/annoy every living thing like he normally likes to do). She even went the extra mile to wash his bed after an accident over night and have him and all of his stuff packed up nicely and ready to go for me when I got there. My little boy loved playing with her and her family. And having the other dogs around for him to interact with was a bonus. When I tell you he was so excited when he first met them that I didn’t even get a second look over the shoulder or a goodbye before he took off to play with one of the kids ? (I’m still emotionally processing his betrayal ?). I could not recommend Amber enough! Your pet will be greatly taken care of (Not to mention worn out….he’s been napping since the moment we put him in the car) and all of your worries will fade the moment you get there.”

About: I have grown up with all kinds of animals, dogs being the main one. Love carin for dogs and always making them feel loved, even when owners may have to be away. Hope to talk to you soon. ? ❤️ We are a working household but have staggered start and end times so very little time is left alone. During that time dogs can remain out if possible or can be crated. Our dogs are crate trained for this time as well, though not always done. We have two friendly, though large dogs to keep yours company. We also have 2 cats, but can be placed in a different area of the house as needed. Have 2 meal times per day and can adjust to fit needs. Always have water available and frequent outside time.
“Meghan and her loving family were so sweet, gentle, and loving to our dog Nolo. He is a sweet dog but also quite human-like in his peculiarities. They welcomed him in and he immediately knew he was staying with them. He looked back with hesitation as I left him in the arms of 6 petting hands. He watched TV with the family and laid under the dinging table and on the couch!! He naturally received a beauty treatment and hair brushing with ease. I could see he felt right at home. About: I have grown up around dogs my whole life and I've had my first (adult life) dog for three and a half year. Wila Rose is an Australian Cattle Dog mix. About a year and a half ago we added another rescue, Buckley Quinn. He is a smart but goofy boy. They both go backpacking with us and we do a lot of hiking on our local public land areas. We enjoy playing around in our yard with our limited dog agility set and learning new tricks. We occasionally go swimming but love jumping and exploring new water areas and hiking trails. Wila and Buckley are a huge part of my life. We enjoy hiking, being outdoor, and traveling as much as possible. We do quite a but of training included but not limited to: agility, scent training, shed training, and just some fun party tricks. I am new to Rover so please feel free to reach out with any questions. I have an acre of land (not fenced in). We love to go on walks and sniffaris at our local parks. Buckley loved to play with other dogs and Wila is more of a people dog. They even loves to go backpacking and hiking which often include 10+ miles a day.
