“What can I say? Melissa was amazing. Needed a sitter for our Weimaraner at the last minute. Needed to leave town for family reasons. Called the usual suspects. They gave me the dog and pony show. No pun. Ridiculous what you got to go through to board your dog these days. A few of my friends and customers recommended Rover. I went on there and checked it out. In about 30 minutes from first seeing it, to signing up, I had already booked Melissa to watch our dog Kaiser. I arranged to bring him over, and she couldn't have been any more sweet. I can really tell that she loves animals. Very cool chick too. Our dog was in good hands the couple days he was there. When we got him back, he was well rested, and had none of the anxiety boarding can bring on. About: I have worked with numerous animals since I was 5 years old. I have owned chickens, rabbits, horses, dogs, and cats my entire life. I am a 4-H leader where I teach children how to train dogs and I help them show and prepare their animals at fair. I also show my own animals at the fair. Additionally, I have pet sat for numerous family members over the years as well as friends. I will always be there for your pet and I will make sure they are well taken care of and loved just like they are my own. I am a teacher who is currently on summer break. So my schedule is pretty open during the summer and I have a lot of availability. During the school year, most of my weekends are free as well as when we have breaks. I am flexible and willing to make things work for you! I live on a little hobby farm with my husband. I have 3 dogs and 3 cats who are very friendly. I have everything needed in my home to take care of a dog including a kennel if needed as well as tie outs. We have a lake that is 5 minutes from our house and if your dog loves to swim, I would be happy to take them. I take my dogs all over in the summer and I would make sure your pet gets a lot of attention and exercise as well. Additionally, we have a huge barn and fenced in pasture as well as rabbit hutches in the barn and a chicken coop! Whatever animal you have they can be comfortable at my property. Additionally, if you feel better about your animal staying at home, I am happy to accommodate to that as well.

About: I've taken care of animals of all different species and sizes throughout my life, I've always found a deeper connection with animals, and the more I care for them, the more I see that. For Dogs, I can get along with most, although I am admittedly spooked by bigger or more aggressive dogs (Cane Corso's for reference). And as for cat's, I'm always willing to take carr of another feline friend, my closest animal companions in life have been cats! I can respect a cats boundaries very well. Notes: For dogs with Clicker training, I do own a clicker. I cannot allow other cats in my home, as one of my cats is not friendly with others. I'm typically up very early to feed my cat and spend whatever free time I have giving him attention and love while I relax. I am currently unemployed, so I can tend to pets around the clock! My yard is not fenced, I can keep a dog close if need be. I am more than willing to take pets on walks to the park, or outdoors in general. I can adapt to most any animals schedule pretty easily. My house is pretty large, so most animals will have plenty of space to roam and get comfy, and I can make accommodations for any special pet gear needed. List of tasks or care instructions would be highly appreciated, and would help me stick to a given schedule.

About: I currently have a cat that I've had for about 2 years now. He only has 3 legs and I made sure to give him the extra love he needs to be a confident and silly kitty everyday. 2 weeks after adopting him, I took him to vet at the animals shelter to get his staples removed and carefully observed his arm for the next week or so to ensure no infections occur. He's been a happy and confident cat ever since.

About: I’ve taken care of many types of different animals for as long as I can remember. Starting on my family’s hobby farm. We had many kinds of birds, rabbits, and dogs. Then when older I studied animal science and everyone I knew always brought their pets to me to take care of. About: Please read the entire profile. I did grow up with a Dalmatian dog. My dad was a firefighter, and came home with Pepper Christmas morning. My sister had a mini goldendoodle. I would stop daily after work around 3:45pm to play and take walks. I took a separation package from my employer 5/1/25 and now would like to offer walks, daycare, drop in visits and boarding . With boarding, For larger dogs, they WILL be crated at night. Your dog will be crated when I play pickleball in the mornings. I do have a crate(s). Please note if sending a request there may be a delay in responding due to pickleball between 9:30 - 12:30 approximate times. I currently have two dog walking appointments from 11:45am -1:45pm Monday-Thursday. Having retired 5/1/25, I have the time to provide loving care, playtime and walks with your pet. I will provide pictures and updates to you. No fence but can play fetch in the front/backyard or take your dog to dog park if they are ok with it. Please provide details or special needs. About: Hello! I've been taking care of pets every since my professors at my university trusted me to dog-sit in their homes. I've always had a love of animals. As a child I spent most of my free time volunteering at my local animal shelter by walking dogs to give them a break and fresh air or training them to help them be more likely to be adopted. As an adult I've worked as a zookeeper (my all-time favorite animal to care for are probably lemurs) and as a high school biology teacher. I work second shift (3-11pm) M-F so check ins would work best for those days. I've had experience administering medication to dogs, (including insulin) and I have no issue going the "extra steps" to make your dog's care paw-fect. I am currently a full-time college student. I'll be able to walk your dogs daily, but that may change from week to week. I am currently available to dog sit only on the weekends. I can care for your dog or cats by providing a scheduled walk/bathroom/feeding routine. While dog sitting I can provide a high-energy fun-filled weekend or a calm relaxed cozy weekend depending on your dog's personality/needs. No tasks are too complex for me, as I have years of experience in animal boarding providing animals with medication, unique diets, and specialized behavioral needs (I've seen/done it all!).

“What can I say? Melissa was amazing. Needed a sitter for our Weimaraner at the last minute. Needed to leave town for family reasons. Called the usual suspects. They gave me the dog and pony show. No pun. Ridiculous what you got to go through to board your dog these days. A few of my friends and customers recommended Rover. I went on there and checked it out. In about 30 minutes from first seeing it, to signing up, I had already booked Melissa to watch our dog Kaiser. I arranged to bring him over, and she couldn't have been any more sweet. I can really tell that she loves animals. Very cool chick too. Our dog was in good hands the couple days he was there. When we got him back, he was well rested, and had none of the anxiety boarding can bring on. About: I have worked with numerous animals since I was 5 years old. I have owned chickens, rabbits, horses, dogs, and cats my entire life. I am a 4-H leader where I teach children how to train dogs and I help them show and prepare their animals at fair. I also show my own animals at the fair. Additionally, I have pet sat for numerous family members over the years as well as friends. I will always be there for your pet and I will make sure they are well taken care of and loved just like they are my own. I am a teacher who is currently on summer break. So my schedule is pretty open during the summer and I have a lot of availability. During the school year, most of my weekends are free as well as when we have breaks. I am flexible and willing to make things work for you! I live on a little hobby farm with my husband. I have 3 dogs and 3 cats who are very friendly. I have everything needed in my home to take care of a dog including a kennel if needed as well as tie outs. We have a lake that is 5 minutes from our house and if your dog loves to swim, I would be happy to take them. I take my dogs all over in the summer and I would make sure your pet gets a lot of attention and exercise as well. Additionally, we have a huge barn and fenced in pasture as well as rabbit hutches in the barn and a chicken coop! Whatever animal you have they can be comfortable at my property. Additionally, if you feel better about your animal staying at home, I am happy to accommodate to that as well.

About: I've taken care of animals of all different species and sizes throughout my life, I've always found a deeper connection with animals, and the more I care for them, the more I see that. For Dogs, I can get along with most, although I am admittedly spooked by bigger or more aggressive dogs (Cane Corso's for reference). And as for cat's, I'm always willing to take carr of another feline friend, my closest animal companions in life have been cats! I can respect a cats boundaries very well. Notes: For dogs with Clicker training, I do own a clicker. I cannot allow other cats in my home, as one of my cats is not friendly with others. I'm typically up very early to feed my cat and spend whatever free time I have giving him attention and love while I relax. I am currently unemployed, so I can tend to pets around the clock! My yard is not fenced, I can keep a dog close if need be. I am more than willing to take pets on walks to the park, or outdoors in general. I can adapt to most any animals schedule pretty easily. My house is pretty large, so most animals will have plenty of space to roam and get comfy, and I can make accommodations for any special pet gear needed. List of tasks or care instructions would be highly appreciated, and would help me stick to a given schedule.
